At night:

Karan sat on the sofa while preeta was standing.

Karan(whispers): bolo .....sun raha hoon .

Preeta(smiles): thankyou ....

Karan(angrily): 5 minute....miss preeta arora ....

Karan(sadly): main poochta hoon????? jis ladke ke liye mujhe choda tha uska naam kya hai???

A lone tear escaped her eye.

Karan(angrily): prithvi malhotra .....my employ....how could I not noticed ??? Wo humesha tumhare peeche peeche ghoomta rehte tha aur tum ...

Preeta(crying): karan ....he manipulated
me karan ...usne mujhe tumhe chodne ke liye force kiya tha . Meri majbooori thi!!!!!

Karan(shouts): preeta ....dont lie!!! Tumhari koi majbooori nahi thi!!

Preeta(shouts): karan .....usne mujhe force kiya tha ...sach hai ye!!!

Karan(hurt): wo kar bhi kya sakta tha???? Agar tum mujhe sab bata deti to hum mil kar sab theek karsakte the...(angrily) magar you decide to face it on your own!!!!!(shouts) why!!!!! Why!!!! Tell me dammit ....tum itna sab kuch bardaasht kaise karsakti thi ...

Preeta(angrily): kyunke baat tumhari aur meri beti ko affect karti ..... isliye bardaasht karna par raha tha karan....

Karan eyes softened....

Preeta: usne mujhe dhamkaya ke wo ayesha ko aur tumhe nuqsaan pohanchaye ga .... jab tumne use job se nikala to usne tumhe nuqsaaan pohanchane ke liye mera istemaal Kia.

Usne luthra company ke papers churaye . He could have taken over the company . He threatened me ke wo ayesha ko kidnap kar le ga . And once he was almost got successful in his plan . Lekin main time par aa gayi warna kya hi jata karan ....

Karan(softly): preeta tumne mujhe kyun nahi bataya .

Preeta: Main darti thi Karan......

Karan: hum sab theek karsakte the but you decided to stay quiet.

Preeta(softly): I am sorry ...

Karan(softly): i dont know ke main tumhe kaise maaf karoon .

(Angrily) us prithvi ne tumhe dhamkaya . Ayesha ko kidnap karne ki koshish ki .

Preeta(softly): i am sorry ....

Karan(hurt): I don't even know what to do with you , with myself , with us . . With this relationship....

Karan throw a vase on mirror and it broke into pieces . Preeta closed her eyes and tears formed in her eyes .

Karan(shouts): I'll kill him .... main us prithvi ko maar doongi kyunke uski wajah se tum mujhe chod ke chali gayi . Main humesha ke liye akela ho gaya uski wajah se . Meri beti apni mom ke bina rahi uski wajah se .....

Preeta(softly): karan ...

Karan(hurt): I need some time to think ....I need some space ...to think about our so called "relationship" . (Broken tone) please go ....please leave me alone.

Preeta went to her room without uttering a word . She changed her clothes and layed on her bed. After sometime , she felt the bed dipped next to her . Someone back hugged her . It was karan . He kissed her cheek .

Preeta(softly in sleep): karan ....

Karan(softly): shhh .....

He caressed her hairs and kissed her cheek again .... she wake up .

Preeta: karan .....

Karan(softly): preeta ....let us pretend for a while that everything is ok ..

A tear escaped preetas eye . She caressed his hand which was on her waist .

Preeta turned back . Karan eyes were closed and it seems that he is in pain .

She caressed his face , his jaw .....
Karan stopped her hand and put them in his hairs . Preeta caressed them and he was falling asleep .

Karan(softly): it feels so good.

Preeta(softly): I know .....

He opened his eyes and was staring her . Preeta hold his neck and leaned towards his lips . She kissed him .....she expect him to push her ....but neither he reciprocate nor he pushed her . Preeta bit his lower lip . A sexy growl escaped from his mouth and ...

He reciprocate the kiss with equal passion ....

After sometime he broke the kiss and turned his back . Preeta was hurt but she hugged him from back and kissed his neck .

Preeta(softly): I love you .....

Karan turned her back and stared her . It seems that he was looking for some hesitation in her eyes but she lightly smiled ...

Preeta(smiles): I love you so much ...

He couldn't sound an ounce of hesitation....

Preeta kissed his forehead and look towards him . He was looking so vulnerable and it broke her heart again .

Karan hugged her and layed her head on his chest . She kissed his hairs .

Karan(softly): I loved you .......

Preeta heart clenched .....

Karan(softly): I loved you then and i love you now too.... but i dont feel anything .....

Preeta(smiles): dont worry ....we will experience our love together ...I'll make you feel karan ...I am sorry for leaving you ..

He was crying ..

Preeta(softly): I love you and I'll never leave you ...please believe me when I say that......

Karan: ......

Preeta: Karan ....

No reply ...

He fell asleep .

Preeta(smiles): good night love...

She kissed his forehead and dozed off ...
