I feel like the more Dan tells me, the more he worries that I'm going to leave him. He just told me about his old job, and he said about how disgusted talking about it made him feel. I just want to scoop him up in my arms and hold him and protect him from the world. But I can't, and I haven't been there for him. I feel like such a let down.
