THE ONLY THING THAT CLAUDIA JELANI EVER KNEW about her real family was their last name and honestly, she never cared to learn more. The girl always figured that if someone didn't care for her, she'd reciprocate those feelings. Of course, not a lot of people cared for her bluntness, or even cockiness.

So, she cared for no one.

Again, it suited the girl fairly well. If she cared for no one, she would never have to lie about where she goes in the middle of the night, or how she made money, or why she had about twelve different types of poisons all tucked safely underneath her bed. A lonely life to her was a happy life.

Of course, plans are always ruined when you add partners to the equation, her partners being a group called "The Orphans" and when saying group, it was more of a trio. Garrett and Violet were even more cocky and hotheaded than the Jelani girl, and that bugged her. The Beacon Hills dead pool was going to be her last job with them, until her last job turned into much more.

She didn't know if she should be thankful to Garrett and Violet, or curse them.
