Marinette woke up groggily and groaned "Tikki.... what time is it?" Tikki lazily said, "Look at it yourself please....."

Marinette glanced at the clock, she woke up..... early! Yay! She jumped out of bed in excitement, Tikki glanced at her, confused.

Marinette rushed down the stairs after she got ready and gave her mother and father a cheeky grin, her parents were rolling out flour for their bakery.

They both looked at Marinette strangely "Are you alright after last night?" Tom asked. That question made the wind get knocked out of her. All of the events came rushing into her mind again, they were screaming at her, yelling at her. She felt her face drop and her mind get sluggish. That hole she felt in her heart, grew bigger.

Tom realized what he had said "Marinette... it's alright.... she'll forgive you." Marinette just gave a simple nod, grabbed an apple to eat before heading to school.
