Gabriella spent the following week laying in the hospital week in the bed next to Wells', being treated like she was on her fucking dead bed when she only had a concussion.

And a week after, when she got the stitches off her head and Abby moved her to stay in Bellamy's room ── saying something about him making sure she doesn't sneak out again.

She felt butterfly kisses being pressed against the side of her neck and an arm being thrown over her waist, making her realise a soft sigh. Gabriella really couldn't complain after waking up like this multiple times. Plus, she practically lived in his room anyway.

Against her will, she leaned further into the warmth of Bellamy's body and tilted her neck to give him more access to her neck. His kisses became more wet and she could already tell the kisses will leave bruises but didn't care at the moment. Her eyes were still closed when Bellamy trailed his kisses all the way to behind her ear and whispered, "You awake, Artemis?"

Gabriella only hummed and kept her eyes shut when she turned around to capture his lips into a kiss. He moaned into her mouth when her finger went straight to his curls and brought him closer to her.

"I haven't even washed my mouth yet." Bellamy pulled away with narrowed eyes. Gabriella smiled slightly once she opened her eyes and saw the familiar look of his face in the mornings. His hair was all over the place and his brown eyes were hooded, a bit squinted and completely focused on her.

"So?" Gabriella raised an eyebrow and completely turned around to face him. Just to prove her point, she leaned in to kiss him once again. As the kiss became more passionate by the second, she found herself strandling his shirtless torso. She leaned away so she could pull her ( well, his ) shirt over her head, only to be interrupted by the door swinging open.

The two of them jumped apart as if they were burned and started at the open door with wide eyes. Raven was looking back at them with a bored look on her face and raised an unimpressed eyebrow at their flushed faces and messy heads of hair.

"Raven, what the hell?" Gabriella asked, blinking in shock but relaxing because it wasn't someone like Kane or Abby standing in the doorway.

Bellamy glared at her, flopping back onto the bed, "Not cool, Reyes."

"Get up." the mechanic said, ignoring the glares the couple was sending her way, "We are going back to Mount Weather. Farm Station is already there and we need as many people as possible. Be glad I'm not Kane."

There was a reason Gabriella never went into Mount Weather. It was the same reason she wanted to get out of there as fast as she could after they almost turned her into a Reaper. She had a huge feeling of discomfort whenever she did as much as thought about the place. The guilt and grief was just a bonus.

"Trust me, I am." Bellamy muttered while putting his pants on.

Gabriella narrowed her eyes on her best girl friend and tilted her head, "Where is he anyway?"

"He didn't tell you?" Raven furrowed her eyebrow before her eyes widened and she looked as if she regretted saying anything in the first place, "He and Abby went into Polis. The Commander called a meeting." a small pause, "Clarke is there too."

"What?" Gabriella snapped, her mouth agape in shock. She and Wells almost got themselves killed to save her ass and now she's peacefully resting in Polis with Lexa? Seriously?

Raven pursed her lips and then backed out of the room, "I'm gonna leave you to get dressed. Be at the rover in half an hour."

When the doors to Bellamy's room were closed Bellamy's face became sheepish and he didn't dare to look up at Gabriella as he put his clothes on and she kept staring him down from her spot on the bed.

"So you just didn't plan to tell me anything about this?"

"Hey, in my opinion I don't even think you should go." Bellamy told her, looking up from the backpack he started to pack, "But it's not like I can stop you anyway. You don't listen to me. That's the whole point of this relationship we have going on."

"I'm fine." Gabriella almost yelled, "I'm only curious why you haven't told me about Clarke being perfectly safe and the fact that there's a meeting in Polis that we both know you and I are supposed to be attending."

"Look, Kane only told me about it last night." Bellamy shot back, running the palm of his hand over his face, "You don't think I want to be there as much as you do? I hate sitting back here while the so-called grown ups do our job for us."

Gabriella huffed under her breath. She couldn't really bring herself to be mad at him when he was feeling as useless as she was right now.

"We aren't sitting back though." she spoke up after putting her pants on and changed her shirt, "We're going to have to keep Pike on a leash at Mount Weather."

Swallowing, Bellamy nodded and crossed his arms over his chest. His dislike for the plan was pretty obvious and Gabriella couldn't help but return the almost sad smile he was wearing. They were going into Mount Weather but they weren't going in alone. They had each other. Like always."

-

"I knew I should have taken my horse." Gabriella heard Octavia complain as she helped Raven get out of the rover. Raven gave the blonde a thankful nod and a tight-lipped smile.

"Maybe you should have." Gabriella shot back at the youngest Blake with a raised eyebrow, "It would leave more free room inside."

Wells touched the back of his neck like he was in pain and grimaced, "Yeah, I second that."

Octavia scoffed and narrowed her eyes into a glare that didn't have much heat in it, "Are you calling me fat?"

"Sure, Tavi." Gabriella snorted, rolling her eyes sarcastically. Her gaze turned to Bellamy, who was clearly not listening to the conversation and had his eyes glued to the entrance to Mount Weather. While Gabriella used humor and other things to distract herself from overthinking, Bellamy never did a very good job at it.

Just as she was about to snap him out of his gaze, Gina did it for her, "Hey, the summit delegation will be fine."

"I should be there." Bellamy argued without even looking at the curly headed brunette. Gina raised a flirtatious eyebrow, "But then you wouldn't be here with us."

While Bellamy just chuckled and brushed her comment off, Gabriella huffed under her breath and narrowed her eyes at them subconsciously.

"It's fine, Kane's just trying to teach Gabi a lesson." at his own words, Bellamy turned to Gabriella and raised a pointed eyebrow. Gabriella put on a blank expression as soon as he turned to her and just raised a challenging eyebrow before going to the back of the rover to help take out the backpacks.

Raven snorted and followed her, "That is just a train wreck waiting to happen."

"What is?" Gabriella asked, trying to remain nonchalant and shrugged her shoulders but also kept her eyes on the bags in her hands.

"Gina flirting with both of you while the two of you trying to make each other jealous in the least subtle way possible." Wick chimed in as he got out of the rover with a knowing look on his face.

"We don't do that." the engineer snapped, "Besides, I don't get jealous."

Wells scoffed and when she turned her glare his way, raised his arms in fake defense, "I'm just saying. It's the exact same thing he said when you told him he was jealous of you and I."

"You were listening to our conversation?" Gabriella asked, her glare hardening more if that was even possible.

"I was laying right next to you guys!" Wells exclaimed, louder than he should have, which resulted in everyone else turning to look at them.

"Again," Gabriella sighed with another pointed look thrown Wells' way, "this is why you don't have any friends."

"And you do?"

"I have Raven." the Hastings girl shot back without missing a beat. She threw one of her arms around Raven's shoulder and raised her eyebrows at the Jaha boy.

Wells awkwardly looked at Raven and pursed his lips before turning on his heel and walking away. Gods, did Gabriella 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 to use their failed attempt at a relationship against him.

"What about me?" Wick asked with a fake offended look and threw his arms around her shoulders as soon as she removed hers from Raven, who raised one eyebrow at him.

"You're her ex fuck buddy."

"Ouch."

"Cry about it."

Gabriella laughed at the small bickering. The small group walked inside and she felt goosebumps all over her skin that made her almost shiver. Raven obviously felt her discomfort and linked their elbows together, using that as a small support in walking and to give Gabriella some emotional support.

"You guys, did I ever tell you how I saved Sinclair's ass on The Ark?" Raven broke the small silence, her words making Octavia groan.

"Please don't."

"You mean the time 𝘸𝘦 saved Sinclair's ass?" Gabriella chimed in.

"Okay, yes. The time you and I saved his ass." Raven corrected herself, "He went rogue on a spacewalk and Ella helped me hop on a robotic arm and aim it at the Solar Array. The whole time I was out there, the control room thought I was just fixing the loose wire."

Wick cut her story off with a scoff, "Yeah and you almost got yourself killed. Sinclair was traumatized and Ella almost got arrested."

Gabriella cracked a grin, "I did anyway."

"How long were you benched?" Gina asked curiously.

"Benched?" Raven scoffed with a proud grin, "We got the job done in a record time. He promoted me and allowed Ella to skip like two years of training."

"That's because he sees you two as his precious angels who can do nothing wrong. Ever." Wick stated just as they rounded up the next corner and arrived at the dining room everyone was in the night Gabriella, Bellamy and Clarke pulled the lever.

Gabriella didn't know what she was expecting when Raven told her to get out of bed to come here. But it certainly wasn't Farm Station playing old rock music, eating food and drinking alcohol like they owned the fucking place.

"Welcome. Come. Join us." Pike stood up with a big welcoming grin but Gabriella was too stunned at the overly happy atmosphere to be annoyed at him specifically.

"Someone's made themselves at home." Raven muttered, her voice full of disgust.

"There must be thirty of them here." Octavia added, shaking her head in disbelief. Pike perked up at her words and wasn't ashamed to correct her, "Thirty-six, but the more the merrier."

"Thirty-six?" Octavia repeated with a raised eyebrow just as Gabriella dropped her bag and crossed her arms over her chest, "Wow the grounders are gonna think we moved in."

"Well, there was no room at the inn." Pike chuckled, clearly not reading the room.

"And this is the next best thing?" Gabriella snapped, pure venom in her voice obvious as she clenched her jaw and glared at her former teacher. There was long silence of the two of them staring each other down, before Octavia was the one to break it.

"I'm out of here."

Gabriella nodded, "I'll join you. Rae, Wick, tell Sinclair I'll check in later."

The blonde followed her friend outside, but not before sending Pike a middle finger, ignoring Bellamy calling after both of them.

-

"Fucking dick." Gabriella huffed as she hit the rock wall of the entrance to Mount Weather with her leg in frustration, "I mean who the fuck does this guy think he is? First he almost kills two seventeen year olds, then is clearly completely against all grounders and now moved into the Mountain everyone has experienced so much trauma in? Gods, does he have any knowledge of what boundaries mean? Or does he just not give a fuck?"

Gabriella let out a low growl and punched the wooden door in anger.

"You're going to hurt yourself." Octavia sighed from her place above the doors, raising an eyebrow at her but otherwise not that surprised at her outburst. Every remaining of the original hundred knew how much anger issues she had and never planned to get in the way of that.

The blonde huffed and climbed up to sit next to her, leaning back on her arms, "This is gonna be such a disaster. It's only going to cause another pointless war with the grounders and it's all Pike's fault."

Her words were followed by a long silence which Octavia eventually broke and raised an amused eyebrow at her friend, "Are you done?"

"Yeah." Gabriella sighed, laying on her back on the stone wall and moving her gaze to the cloudy sky.

"So . . . you and my brother?" Octavia ( as blunt as ever ) trailed off, staring down at the engineer with a knowing look on her face.

"Oh, don't even start." she cut her off before she could say anything further. When the brunette only kept staring at her, she groaned, "What do you want me to say? That right now, I'm too messed up to even begin to think about the possible feelings I may have for him? That he probably deserves someone way better than a smart ass arsonist slash orphan with major anger issues who never listens to him?"

Octavia's eyes widened at her outburst and she was about to say something when Gabriella cut her off by sitting up and resting her chin on her knees, "It's not like it matters anyway. We're friends who sleep together. Hell, we're not even actually friends. All we do is yell at each other most of the time."

"Yeah, you yell at each other in pointless situations." Octavia immediately said, not wanting to be cut off again, "But when it really matters you two work together better than anyone I have ever seen."

"Yeah, because we're co-leaders, not boyfriend and girlfriend material."

Gabriella's words caused Octavia to let out a scoff but she didn't get a chance to argue because the doors under them opened and Bellamy came out. He looked around for a few moments before looking up and realizing they were up there.

"You two okay?"

"Peachy." the blonde sighed and jumped down onto the ground. She didn't say anything else, just brushed past Bellamy and headed inside, blocking the thought of her and Octavia's conversation out and deciding to leave the siblings alone.

-

"We were with the Queen's army heading towards Polis. The war chief talks too loud." Echo, the same grounder Gabriella remembers she and Bellamy saved back in Mount Weather. Next to her just happens to be the grounder Gabriella woke up next to when she was about to be turned into a grounder, Alina.

She was also the girl Wells kept staring ( almost glaring ) at since she walked in with the Blake siblings.

"You're one of them, so why are you telling us this?" Pike demanded.

"We abandoned Skaikru in the battle for the Mountain." Echo stated and looked between Gabriella and Bellamy, "It was wrong.

Pike narrowed his eyes at her, "And won't they miss you?"

"Probably." Alina shot back with a blank expression on her face, "There's another reason we need to hurry."

"Pike, she saved my life." Bellamy spoke up for the first time since he brought them in, "We can trust her."

"Yeah," Gabriella scoffed, raising her eyebrows at him, "and then she left us for dead."

Her words were followed by silence before Wells spoke up silently, "I trust them."

Pike nodded and Bellamy immediately turned to the crowd listening in to the discussion, "Listen up. If we want to get to Polis before the attack, we have to move."

"Attack?" Sinclair walked up to them, giving Gabriella a confused look, "Do we have confirmation of that?"

"We tried to radio Kane and Abby but no one answered." she told him, crossing her arms over her chest and sighing.

"They may already be dead for all we know and if they are we need to be ready to respond." Pike exclaimed, looking as full of himself as ever.

"Don't make this about the missiles." Sinclair told him with a stern look on his face that Gabriella only ever saw him give students who misbehaved.

"This is about survival. We don't have the numbers, but the missiles in this Mountain even the playing field and you know I'm right."

"Even if I did agree with you, we still don't have the launch codes." Sinclair said, not looking too upset about it.

Raven raised her hand slowly, "No, but we have me."

"We aren't touching the damn missiles." Gabriella snapped, sending a fiery glare Pike's way, "That's an order because last time I remember, you don't have any authority here. I do and I say, leave it alone until Kane, Abby or someone with actual authority says otherwise."

Wells sighed and gripped Alina's wrist to get her to her feet, "Okay, let's go."

Gabriella pursed her lips when Pike, Octavia and Bellamy went out right after them with Echo by their side. She was Philip about to do the same but stepped in front of him to block his way, "You should stay here. Monty will probably be here soon and he really shouldn't be alone right now. Especially here."

"Okay, dad." Philip responded with a roll of his eyes that made Gabriella narrowed her own eyes at him.

"Why dad?"

Philip awkwardly scratched the back of his head, "Because Bellamy is the mom?"

Blinking in confusion, Gabriella chose to just pat his shoulder, "Right. Well, stay here . . . kid."

-

Gabriella didn't have anything against the grounders as a whole. She knew not all of them were the same but she wasn't the biggest fan of Commander Lexa after she left them to die in Mount Weather. She also didn't trust Alina at all and especially Echo.

There was a chance they were lying and that the summit wasn't a trap but honestly? Gabriella didn't know which one of the two options she believed in more. Lexa trying to kill everyone from Skaikru or Echo and Alina lying to them.

The first red flag when they arrived at Polis was the fact that Kane and Abby haven't left any guard behind just in case. Bellamy was quick to point that out as soon as they stepped out of the rover and saw the car Kane and Abby were taking.

"Protocol would be to leave someone behind."

Gabriella nodded in agreement but didn't say anything and instead followed Octavia to the front of the car while holding her gun up warily. She didn't expect to see two dead bodies in the front seat, their throats slit.

"They did." Octavia exclaimed, pulling her sword out.

Pike growled under his breath and marched up to Alina and Echo, "This was your people."

Alina scoffed and glared at him, "𝙁𝙪𝙘𝙠 𝙮𝙤𝙪."

"They warned us." Wells chimed in, glaring at Pike in an almost protective manner that Gabriella mentally took a note off to ask him about it later because he definitely knew who Alina was. Personally.

Octavia nodded in agreement, "Yeah, this proves that they were telling the truth."

"We don't have time for fighting right now." Gabriella told them, mainly speaking to Wells but also sensing Pike was going to start arguing back, "They said the attack is at sundown. That's at least two hours away. We have to hurry."

The youngest Blake glared at the sign that said weapons weren't allowed and stated stubbornly, "I'm not leaving my blade here."

"None of us are." Echo told her, "We go in through the tunnels. The entrance is this way."

-

Sneaking into the main and the tallest building in Polis through the tunnels made Gabriella feel like she was back in Mount Weather with Bellamy and Lincoln, sneaking in, getting caught on purpose and then being sent to get tortured. Sneaking into Polis and then getting caught by Lexa or her guards might just result in the same outcome.

Bellamy leaned against the corner of a wall and sneaked a glance at the entrance, narrowing his eyes to see better in the dark and then turning back to the rest of the group, "Two guards."

"They are the ones raising the lift." Alina informed them, "And that is our only way in. We have to climb."

Pile sneaked a look at the guards, "I got left."

He made a run for it with Bellamy hot on his heels and Gabriella fought the urge to face palm. Fucking idiots.

"Look out." one of the guards yelled as Pike started punching him and Bellamy shot the other in the stomach, before knocking his head on the wall.

Gabriella stared at him with wide eyes. She expected Pike to do something like that but that was Bellamy. The Bellamy who formed a perfectly stabbed friendship with a grounder during these past few months. The Bellamy who was so determined to keep the peace between their people and the grounders going.

"What is wrong with you?" Octavia asked in disbelief and anger, "You didn't have to kill them "

"Yeah, I did." Bellamy responded blankly. He didn't say anything else, only opened the elevator doors that reviled a latter and then turned to look between Alina and Echo, "How many floors?"

"All of them."

-

When they reached the last floor, they opened the big doors with their weapons held high. Gabriella noted the fancy clothes and make up Clarke was wearing that perfectly matched Lexa's and fought the urge to scoff.

"Wells? Ella?" Clarke exclaimed in surprise.

A man took a hesitant step toward them, "What is the meaning of this?"

"The summit is a trap. We need to get the three of you out of here." Bellamy announced while Wells stood in front of Clarke, stunned into silence.

Clarke swallowed and looked away from Wells to look at Lexa, "What the hell is going on?"

"I don't know."

Wells cleared his throat, snapping out of his own daze, "It's Azgeda."

"These allegations are an outrage." stated one of the grounders from the crowd, "Azgedw never stormed this summit with weapons, breaking our laws. That was the Skaikru."

Pike glared at him and turned to Kane, "We're right about this. The two guards you left behind are dead already. We need to go. Now."

Lexa raised her chin up and raised an eyebrow at them, "How did you come by this information?"

"A warrior from the Ice Nation army and the Princess told us." Gabriella shot back at her and to prove her point, turned around to point at them, only clench her jaw when she realized they were gone, "Where the hell are they?"

"I don't know." Octavia uttered in shock and Wells ran the palm of his hand over his frustrated face. The brunette girl shook her head and then hesitantly looked at Gabriella "Okay, maybe we were wrong about this."

Bellamy gaped at the spot Alina and Echo were supposed to be standing in, "I don't understand."

"Stand down." Kane sighed and come to stand in front of Gabriella and Bellamy. He put a hand on each of their shoulders and squeezed them but said nothing else.

When he moved away, Raven's voice could be heard from the radio Gabriella had strapped to her pants, "𝘌𝘭𝘭𝘢, 𝘌𝘭𝘭𝘢, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘯. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘔𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵 𝘞𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳."

The engineer gaped in shock and then lifted the radio to her lips and hesitantly asked, "What?"

"𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺'𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝘚𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘭𝘢𝘪𝘳, 𝘗𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱, 𝘞𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵. 𝘐'𝘮 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘺."

Gabriella felt tears gathering in her eyes as the sound of Raven's sobbing was cut off by static and ignored the way Wells cursed under his breath and the sound of of grounder from before spoking up again. How many people are going to have to die before they finally find peace?

"The Ice Nation did what Lexa was too weak to do."

Lexa almost growled at his words, "This is an act of war. Sentries, arrest the Ice Nation delegation, including the Prince. And if you see the Princess sneaking around Polis again, I want you to bring her to me. Dead or alive."

"We need to get home." Abby said, "If they attacked Mount Weather, Arkadia could be next."

"I agree."

"Go." Lexa told them, "Marshal your forces. We'll avenge the attack together."

Gabriella cleared her throat and wiped her wet cheeks dry and then turned towards Clarke, "Right. Let's go, Princess. We have to leave before you decide to do something stupid again."

"We need an ambassador from the thirteenth clan to stay here in Polis." Lexa told her before Clarke could anwser and gave Gabriella an almost challenging look.

Wells scoffed and glared at her, "It's not safe here."

"Clarke will be safe here under my protection." Gabriella looked at Clarke at Lexa's words and narrowed her eyes at her oldest friend.

Clarke ignored her gaze and walked right up to her mother, "I have to stay. I have to make sure she keeps her word."

The daughter and mother shared a hug and after that, Abby left while Clarke stayed put. Gabriella shook her head in disappointment and gave Clarke a look very close to the one of disgust, "She left us to die in Mount Weather and she will always put her people above anyone else. Including you. I think you should finally come home to yours instead of playing dress up with the enemy."

"I'm sorry." Clarke told her, swallowing down the tears that threatened to escape her.

"So much for together."

Gabriella didn't spare her another look, only put a hand on Wells and Bellamy's forearms and walked out with them by her side.

-

"Why am I even surprised?" Gabriella asked, leaning against the window of the rover as she sat on the hood of it with a jar of Monty's moonshine in her hand, "First she leaves all our people to die when the bomb dropped in TonDC, then she left us after Mount Weather and now she's enjoying her luxurious life in Polis where she's Lexa's new right hand slash girlfriend?"

Wells nodded in agreement from his place on the floor, sleepily closing his eyes and leaning against the wall behind him. Despite himself, Bellamy snorted at the sight and then turned to the blonde next to him with a worried look, "You okay?"

"Everyone I love always ends up either leaving me or letting me down. Clarke is just one of those people." Gabriella shrugged nonchalantly.

Bellamy stared at the side of her face with a small frown, "I don't plan on going anywhere."

Gabriella felt a small smile appearing on her face and she turned her head to the side to look at him, "I know."
