A Few Days Later

I have sulked enough. There is no use in being angry or sad. This trip is supposed to be a relaxing time for me... I was still looking for places when I came across this site. The site being a bit vague, but the place seemed nice. So I called the number listed. "Hello ! STAY-Cation is Heaven on Earth ! How many I help you today ?", the person answered quickly. I assumed they must get lots of calls daily.

"Hi. I was wondering if you have any rooms available ? I plan to arrive in a few days." I heard the person doing stuff on their end before they responded to me. "We have a room available now. It is in the ODDINARY section. Would you like to book it now ?" Oddinary ? What did they mean by that. "몇 가지 질문이 있습니다... 그 장소는 정확히 무엇입니까? ODDINARY가 무슨 뜻입니까?" (I have a few questions... What exactly is the place ? What do you mean by ODDINARY ?)

The person seemed happy to answer my questions. My guess are these ae frequently asked. "STAY-Cation is a Airbnb for Kpop fans. Specifically for those who love Stray Kids. ODDINARY is one of their albums." I sighed. Stray Kids ? Would they let me book the room knowing I am not a fan ? I just want to spend my vacation peacefully instead of sulking. "Then I would like to book a room, please."

Soon enough I got packing this is when I got a call from Alice. "Hello ?", I answered on speaker as I packed. "하늘아, 괜찮아요? 며칠 동안 소식이 없습니다." (Are you okay, Haneul ? I haven't heard from you in a few days.) Alice was a caring person. Of course, she'd be calling to check on me. I chuckled. "I am fine. Have you guys left yet ?" I decided to keep my plans to myself. I was already hurt they'd ditched me for James. 

"We leave next week. Why do you ask ?", she said growing concerned. I sighed as I finally had all my things sorted for packing away. "No reason. I was just curious." I could tell Alice was worried I was still sulking. That I was still somewhat angry with everyone.

Alice seemed to be relieved with my answer before continuing what she initially called for. "We all are heading out for dinner. Will you join us, Haneul ?" I thought about it before asking what I really needed to ask. "제임스가 거기에 있을까요?" (Will James be there ?) Alice went silent for a few moments which confirmed my  question.

 I packed my suitcase as I gave my final answer. "Talk more soon ? I am a bit busy at the moment..." I knew rushing the call to end might upset her, but I will not put myself through another horrible conversation with James. "Haneul.." I reassured her I was fine before hanging up. 

My trip was in a few days. This gives me more than enough time to learn more about Stray Kids as much as I can before my trip. This is going to be fun...
