THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING!  ZANE IS LYING AND I KNOW IT! Why would he kill Laurence!? ITS ALL A LIE! 
"Z-ZANE YOU'RE LYING! You wouldn't kill him if you loved me. You're just a bad person and... But why would you lie?" I asked. I looked up at Zane.
"Heh, don't worry, that was.... A test! A test to see if you were gullible enough to believe that! But, I will be killing him. And I'll be killing him at our wedding." He said.
"B-But why!? You don't know if I love him! You know, what if we were just close friends!? And we are!" I said.
"Hahaha! Wow, you are dumb!  I pretended to be Laurence to see if you truly loved him or not. So I could know to kill him or not." He said.
"YOU'RE SICK ZANE! WHO WOILD DO THAT! UGH! I HATE--" I started.
"Shh, your brother's life is on the line." He said smirking. That shut me up. I can't lose Garroth.
"W-When will be our wedding?" I asked
"In 20 days, you knew that. So... Three weeks from today. Wait, two weeks and six days. Heh, don't worry. You'll get use to me." He said.
"But... Zane... If I did marry you, then... You know I wouldn't love you." I said.
"Y-Yeah... But you'll learn to love me. And I'll make sure of that." He said.
Zane's POV
"Y-Yeah... But you'll learn to love me. And I'll make sure of that." I said.
Shoot! I can't tell her of my plan. I thought. I was going to brainwash Aphmau after the wedding so she could love me and make a good ruler for O'khasis. Of course that plan would work! Aphmau knows that if she messes up then her brother, Garroth, would be exsicuted. And Laurence wouldn't be there to stop her. Ha! I love to be me! I can't wait to kill Laurence! I hate that guy. Aphmau loves him so... He would probably mess up our wedding. Everything will go perfect on our wedding day!

Laurence's POV
I was thrown into the dungeons. The good thing is, I could find a way to save Aphmau. But I'm not sure how... Zane took my sword from me. And I'm going to be killed by Zane on the wedding day!? Ugh! What do I do? I feel like this is a giant puzzle that I have to figure out. Then when all the pieces of the puzzle are put back together, that'll be the solution to all this. And it will be like me and Aphmau are reunited again! But...what about after I save her? What will happen then? Will we just find our way back to the village? Probably not... But for now, I need to find a way to get Aphmau back. Then we'll be safe and sound.

Aphmau's POV
I woke up that morning. I couldn't be more mad at Zane for what he's done! I could just--
I sighed. People always tell me to look on the bright side when I'm down. I guess the bright side of this situation is the fact that Laurence is here and I could see him for a last time! But that statement brought the tears.
I would have to watch him die!
No... I can't do that! I tried to think of something else. I couldn't think about the death of my true love. But then a disturbing thought came to mind...
I. Kissed. Zane.
That made me gag. AND I CONFESSED TO HIM!? But the part that disappoints me, it wasn't Laurence that I kissed. And I tried to kiss him! And I shared a scarf with him too!? Uggggh why!?

A few minutes passed. But then I decided to come out of my room to find Zane. I walked through the hall and I asked a guard where he was. I found out that Zane was in his room. So I walked in without knocking.
"Zane... I want to see Laurence." I said
"Ugh! Aph... Fine. Go see him. But no lovey-dovey stuff you hear me!?" He asked. I just smiled to myself and walked away.
Before I walked into the dungeons I took a deep breath. I didn't want to get over excited. But it's just Laurence. I thought to myself. But wait...just Laurence?! Not just Laurence! I love him! And I haven't seen him or talked to him in weeks! So of course I'm excited. The guard that was guarding the dungeons said that Laurence was in cellar II. So I found my way to cellar II. As soon as Laurence spotted me he smiled at me. I rushed over to him and hugged him tight. He hugged back, of course.
"Laurence! Laurence it's real you! It's you and not Zane." I said, still hugging him.
"Y-Yeah it's me! Of course I'm not Zane. And it's really you!" He said. I stopped hugging him.
"Laurence... Every other night, I'd have these weird dreams. But I don't think they were dreams! And in them, you were there. And... You confessed. And I kissed you. But the next time I entered the dream, I found that it was Zane who did all that! It was an act!" I said.
"Really!? Ugh, I hate that jerk! I swear I'll--" He paused.  "Wait... You said... You kissed me!? So... D-do you--" he started. I blushed.
"W-WHAT!? N-N-N-NO I DON'T LOVE YOU  IN THAT WAY! I-I-I-I mean—" I started. He smiled and blushed.
"You love me... Don't you." He said. I blushed harder.
"U-U-U-Ummmm.... I-I... Uhhhhh... N-No... Yes....." I said quietly. His eyes grew wide and I stayed silent.
"You do...?" He asked. I stayed quiet. Then he got on his knees and hugged me tight. "Aphmau... Tell me.... Do you really love me?"
"Laurence.... Does this answer your question?" I leaned in to kiss him; but I was stopped.
"*Ahem*" said a guard. We turned to him. He had a mad look on his face.
"S-So sorry! I um... Just slipped! That's all!" I said.
"Five minutes miss Aphmau." He said and walked away. I turned to Laurence and blushed. Then I pulled away.
"S-So you do love me... I-I don't know how to respond..." He said. He blushed.
"Laurence... I—" I started. Laurence cut in,
"Aphmau please Stay By My Side forever!" I hesitated. Then I hugged him and smiled.
"Yes Laurence, I will."
