*Sigh* Sky's voice is so beautiful!! I had to choose the video of him singing just because...I can! Anyway, hope you enjoy! ~Kitty

~•Zane's POV•~

Ugh! This absolutely sucks! Sasha has failed me for the last time! I don't need her. I don't need anyone! In fact, I can easily put an end to Aphmau's life my self! Thousands of possibilities! I could start war and she can die that way, I can poison her, stab her, or— wait...hmm...heheheh, I know worst way to have her die: depression! Ha! I can have some fun with this! I'll put an end to the ones Aphmau loves one by one! First I'll kill her beloved brother, her sons, I'll just keep killing people until no one is left! And I'll save the most important one for last.

Laurance....

~•Laurance's POV•~

Things had changed in the village. With Levin and Malachi being here, Aphmau has been paying attention to them more than anyone in Phoenix Drop. To be honest, I kind of miss it just being us two visiting each other in the forest every so often. We got to be alone together without anyone telling us what to do. Now Aphmau has to take responsibility as a lord AND a mother, and I'm a guard. So...there isn't much time for the two of us anymore.

Today Aphmau is taking a break. I saw her walk to the plaza then up a hill. I wasn't stalking her or anything if that's what you think! I just....wanted to see what she was doing. I get if she wants to be alone though. She's been working hard for the village.

~•~•~ (TimeSkip)

I was leaning against the wall of the guard station. Being a guard was boring sometimes. Nothing exciting was happening and there wasn't really anything to do. Especially at night.

I just sat there thinking about...Aphmau. Her smile was cute. So was her laugh. I remember her laughing at my jokes. Then she would punch me playfully on the shoulder. I would smile and say "what!?" Then she would laugh even more. I also remember her singing voice. It was so adorable when we her kids! She eventually stopped though. When she sang Wildest Dreams while we were finding Levin, that was the first I had heard her sing in a long time. I miss how we use to sing together. I wish we could do that again.

My thoughts were distracted from a voice. Not just a voice; singing. I stood up and walked outside the guard station. The singing was quiet, yet familiar. It sound like:

At first it was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music,
Do ya?

I walked in the direction of the singing. It sound like it was near the plaza. Is it Aphmau?

It goes like this
The forth, the fifth
The minor fall and the major lift
The baffled King composing Hallelujah

The singing was beautiful. It had to be Aphmau! I continued to follow the voice.

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

When I reached the plaza, no one was singing there. Maybe it was up the hill that Aphmau went? She might be still there. So I walked up the hill

Your faith was strong
But you needed proof
You saw her bathing on the roof
Her beauty and the moonlight
Overthrew ya

I walked passed trees to get to the spot where Aphmau was. The singing grew louder as I walked.

She tied you to her kitchen chair
She broke your thrown and she cut your hair
And from the lips she drew the Hallelujah

I finally got to the top of the hill. There she was. Aphmau. I stayed quiet because it would be rude to interrupt. As she sang, she sat at the edge of the hill overlooking the ocean. The moonlight shown on the ocean. Aphmau's hair blew softly in the cool midnight breeze.

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

I took a step forward and accidentally stepped on a few twigs. Aphmau's head wiped around to face me.

"Oh, it's only you. That's good." She said. She turned back around and started singing again. I walked over to the spot which she was in and sat next to her. Wow. It was beautiful.

Baby I've been here before
I know this room,
I've walked this form
I use to live alone before I knew ya
I've seen your flag on the marble arch
Love is not a victory march
It's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

I recognize the song now! We use to sing it when we were kids. Aphmau knew every word to the song. I learned it from her. I smiled and sang along.

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

There was a time when you let me know
What's really going on below
But now you never show it to me
Do ya?

Aphmau's voice still was as beautiful. But, of course, not as beautiful as she was. I'm glad she's mine.

And remember when I moved in you
The holy dove was moving too
And every breath we drew was Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

Maybe there's a God above
But all I've ever learned from love
Is how to shoot at someone who outdrew ya
And it's not a cry you can hear at night
It's not someone who's seen the light
It's a cold and it's a broken Hallelujah

Aphmau's head rested on my shoulder as we finished up the song.

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

You say I took the name in vain
I don't even really know the name
But if I did, well really, what's it to ya?
There's a blaze of light in every word
It doesn't matter which you heard
It's a holy or a broken Hallelujah

Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah

I did my best
It wasn't much
I couldn't feel so I tried to touch
I told the truth that didn't come to fool ya
And even though it all went wrong
I'll stand before the lord of song
With nothing on my tongue but Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah, hallelujah
Hallelujah

I grabbed Aphmau's hand and held it. She looked up at me and smiled. I smiled back.

"I'm sorry we haven't had some alone time together lately. It's pretty hard being a Lord." She said.

"I understand. You don't need to apologize. Besides, we're alone now, aren't we?" I said.

"Heh, I guess so." She said. I sighed.

"What are....we going to do about Zane? I mean...he might have something planned for us." I said. Maybe I shouldn't have said that.

"I-I don't know. But we'll be prepared for what's coming." She answered. I felt bad for asking that.

"I'm sorry. I don't want to worry you. We shouldn't focus on that at the moment." I said.

"Nothing you say can make me mad at you. I'll always forgive you." She said. That made me smile. She yawned.

"Looks like someone's tired." I said.

"Heh, yeah. Uh, don't get any ideas." She said with a giggle.

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean?" I asked. She laughed.

"You're a Casanova! What should I expect!"

"I'm not that much of a Casanova!" We laughed.

"Heh, I love you Laurance."

"I love you too, Lord Aphmau." I said. She giggled and kissed me. I kissed her back.

I love her so much! <3
