"Speed up the car, Hwang," Park raged at the driver, who nodded and accelerated even more.
"If something happened to Aeri, I swear I'll end everyone," Park muttered to himself.
"Sir, Mrs. Park is calling," the driver interrupted his thoughts.
"This woman, argh," he grumbled, snatching the phone from the driver's hand and hurling it out the window.
The driver gasped but was quick to composed himself again.
"What the hell-" Park stormed out of the car, furious. The only way into the forest was blocked.
"What now?" he demanded, facing the driver.
"This is the only way in, Sir," the driver replied, his head bowed.
"Useless," Park spat, running his hands through his hair, frustration etched in his demeanor. "Contact the authorities. We need to get in, no matter what," he declared, walking away from the driver and the few guards who stood there with their heads hung low.
Park Yoshi, the once-powerful business tycoon, had influence across the entire country. But one day, he decided to leave it all behind. Why? Nobody knew, or perhaps someone did but never revealed.
Yoshi walked past the large lake that was still flowing the way it used to years ago, his eyes scanning the surroundings. He felt like he was traveling back in time...
"Sit here, Yosh. I'll be back with something to eat," a young man smiled, making Yoshi smile in return.
He sat on the cozy couch, admiring how everything was meticulously decorated. It made him feel at home. His eyes roamed the room, but a painting on the wall caught his attention. It was a family portrait of a man, a woman, and a little child, all smiling brightly. Yoshi walked towards the portrait, tracing his fingers over it, his index finger landing on the woman.
"Mr. Park, you're here. What a pleasant surprise," a female voice interrupted, making Yoshi flinch. He turned around and cleared his throat.
"Oh, hey Mrs. Han, long time no see," he smiled, his eyes fixed on the woman standing before him.
"Let me grab you a drink," she smiled and was about to leave when Yoshi suddenly grabbed her hand.
"No need, Mrs. Han. Jun went to get some already," Yoshi whispered, his hand still gripping hers.
Her smile faded as she tried to pull away. "Um, Mr. Park-" she pointed at her hand with her eyes, clearly uncomfortable.
"Oh, I'm so sorry," Yoshi smiled, letting go.
"Byeol, where did you put the drinks?" a male voice shouted from a distance.
Han Jun-seo was an ordinary employee at Park Enterprises. He had a stable job, a happy family, and a good group of friends? He worked hard to earn his position, with the unwavering support of his wife who stood by him during tough times.
"Take some, Mr. Par-I mean Yosh," Jun-seo smiled, still not used to calling his boss by his first name.
"I'm full, but I can't resist these donuts. Byeol is an excellent baker I must say," Yosh mumbled, smiling at Byeol, who sat beside her husband.
"Yeah, my wife is good at almost everything," Jun replied, looking at Byeol, who forced a smile, he was too naive to notice.
"Yeah, I can agree," Yoshi laughed followed by Jun. "I'll be leaving now. Take care, Jun," he said, standing up and hugging his so-called friend.
Suddenly, he approached Byeol, who was standing beside Jun. It seemed like he wanted to hug her as well, but she moved away, making way for him towards the door. Yoshi smiled to himself before stepping towards the exit...
