"Don't you think you'll be needing this, Miss?"
Aeri stared at him, momentarily forgetting to blink.
"Here, I'll do it for you," he said, swiftly moving towards the exit.
Aeri instinctively took a step back to give him space, her mind swirling with confusion and fear.
"Here you go, Miss." Unlocking the door, he stepped aside, making way for her to pass.
Aeri felt paralyzed, as if time had stopped. She couldn't move, overwhelmed by a rush of anxiety.
"Miss, Miss..." He snapped his fingers in front of her face, bringing her back to reality with a jolt.
She stepped forward automatically, finally exiting the door.
"Stay safe, Miss," he whispered.
When Aeri realized she was back in the eerie forest, a sense of dread washed over her. She couldn't help but glance back at the door she had just exited. With no one in sight, she looked around frantically, but there was nothing there except thick foliage and the roars of wild animals.
Her body shivered in the cold breeze, goosebumps rising on her skin. She took a few hesitant steps forward, constantly looking back at the door, her heart racing. After minutes of forcing herself to move, she ended up in a place she had dreaded. Wild wolves surrounded her from all sides, their growls sending chills down her spine.
"Don't come closer, don't..." she muttered, summoning the last of her courage, her voice trembling.
As the wolves approached, she couldn't help but scream, her fear escalating to terror.
But Just when she was about to give up, she spotted a metal rod on the ground. She reached out desperately and grabbed it. With the rod's support, she stood up, her legs shaking.
Aeri swung the rod wildly without any second thought, her movements frantic and fueled by sheer desperation. After a few seconds, she opened her eyes to find her path clear. All the wild animals had vanished in an instant. Without hesitating, Aeri ran, her heart pounding, not daring to look back.
"Here's the thing, she's not with them anymore," a female voice cried, her tone laced with panic and urgency.
"What do you mean she's not with them?" The man, likely in his 40s, stood up abruptly, slamming his hand on the table in frustration.
"That's what I've been trying to tell you, she's not with them," the woman repeated, her voice breaking with anxiety.
"I need to meet Minho right now," the man mumbled, grabbing his coat from the nightstand with a sense of urgency.
"Wait a second, Park..." She tried to stop him, but he was already gone, leaving her feeling helpless and anxious.
"Can I spend the night here?" Aeri found herself standing in front of the same door, facing the same man she had just left, her voice trembling with fear and exhaustion.
"I'm sorry?" he asked, his brow furrowing in concern, wanting to confirm her request.
"I said, can I spend the night here, sir?" she repeated herself....
