I miss him.

I miss his smile. I miss his touch. I miss his laugh. I miss his eyes. I miss the way he brushed my hair behind my ear before he kissed me. I miss him.

And there is nothing I can do about it because he is gone.

He told me he loved me.

But he didn't tell me to wait.

He never told me to wait for him, he didn't want to make it work. He wouldn't try for me.

"I don't know what to do!" I exclaimed, frustratedly running my hands over my face.

"About what?" Lisa asks as she looks over at me from behind her bowl of popcorn.

"Tom." I whisper.

Lisa full on pauses the movie now, turning to face me, setting down the popcorn.

"What do you want to do?" she asks me.

I sigh, "I don't know."

"Well that isn't very helpful now is it?"

"Nope. But neither is him leaving me."

Lisa sighs, "Chloe I know he meant a lot to you but you need to move on. You can't live your life loving, waiting for, a guy who isn't here. You are young, you are beautiful. You need to start living again. You're going to miss great opportunities because you're so hung up on Tom. You know I say it as your best friend when I say to see the silver lining of this."

"Silver lining?" I ask, "that's hard to see right now."

"I know it is but believe me, there will be one. Okay?"

"How are you so sure?"

"Because everything happens for a reason. There is always a silver lining."

"Silver lining." I mumble.

"Yes!" she shrieks, emphasising that her point has been made, "Now, can we please get back to watching Zac Efron's beautifulness?"
