I decided to go for a walk even though it was supposed to rain.

I didn't feel like going to school, so Taeyong let me stay home~. I miss the others though, I wonder if they miss me too.

I admired my surroundings as I walked. The opaque clouds covering all the sky. The sun not daring to show its blinding light. The delicate drizzle of the light rain hitting against my temple. This is the weather I adore. Calming and peaceful.

If only Y/N were here to enjoy it with me...

"Hi Jisungie~"

Speak of an angel~.

I turned around to find Y/N running towards me. Was it release time already? I checked my phone and-.

Oh, it is.

What a coincidence~.

She finally caught up to me, and gave me a hug. I love her hugs~.

"What brings you around here princess~?"

"Oh nothing~. I just thought you might wanna hang out~. Just us two~"

Finally.

A chance to spend time with her~.

Every time we hang out, it's with a house full of people, and someone has a definite chance of eavesdropping or interrupting us.

This will be our chance to be alone~.

"Sounds good~. Where do you wanna hang out?"

"Let's go to the arcade~"

I really like the arcade!

I don't go often, but when I do, I always have a good time~. Going with Y/N will definitely make it even more fun~.

"Hey Jisungie, what were you listening to before I got here?"

Y/N asked as we made our way to the arcade.

I didn't know if she knew the group I listened to or not, and it might be hard to explain it, so I just showed her my screen.

"I LOVE Stray Kids!"

She exclaimed happily.

"You listen to them too?!"

"Yeah! They're so cool and adorable~"

"I think so too~"

"It seems you and me have more in common than we thought~"

She cheered.

"I'm glad. It's not everyday you find someone to vibe with~"

"I know right!"

When we got there, it was as cool as I remembered.

Always lively, brick walls, adequate lighting, old and new arcade games, great food stands, the whole shebang!

Everyone comes to this place to let go, especially the gamers. There are traditional competitions with cool prizes, but I choose not to participate in them.

I just don't want any of the prizes.

"So what should we play first?"

Y/N asked, examining the various options.

I scanned the games that weren't already occupied.

Street Fighter 5, Space Invaders, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Mortal Kombat games, along with old and new Tekken games.

The classics~.

I started eliminating the choices with ease.

The newer games like SF5 and SSBU would be taken easily. Which left Space Invaders, MK, and Tekken. MK is one of the most popular games. People would expect us to play that. Space Invaders wasn't that popular, but people played it only because of the graphics.

That left Tekken as the last choice.

"Let's play Tekken!"

I cheered.

"Oh my barnacles, I LOVE Tekken! I always used to play it on my dad's old PlayStation when I was really young~!"

She cheered, jumping excitedly.

"Wow really?! How old were you?"

I asked as we walked over to the game.

"My parents say I was about two or three~"

"TWO OR THREE?!"

"Yeah~. I guess I get it from my dad. He's the gamer of the house. We always play together"

"That's really cool!"

"Really? Even though I played it a lot by myself, I didn't win a lot. Even though I lost more than I won, I still liked to play it. I loved the graphics and how fun it was~"

"Is that how you became such a great gamer now?"

"Yeah, I guess it is~"

She said, smiling at me.

Around 6-7 o'clock

We finished playing after a while, and ate together at the food stands.

It was a really fun time. I was about to take us home, but Y/N wanted to take me somewhere, so I just followed her.

"So, who's your favorite character from all the games we played?"

I asked making conversation.

"That's easy! I have four favorites in Street Fighter. I like Ibuki, Necalli, Menat, and Vega"

"Fascinating"

"I have quite a few for Tekken, so bear with me. I like Law, King, Lee, Jin, Leo, Eliza, Claudio, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, and Kazumi"

"Lucky Chloe is so cuuuuute~"

"I know right? Now for Super Smash Bros Ultimate... There's Rosalina and Luma, Mr. Game & Watch, Sheik, Pit, Ike, Robin, Duck Hunt, Lucario, Greninja, Shulk, Dark Pit, Pac-Man, Mega Man, and Sonic"

"Jeez Louis, that's a lot..."

"They're all so cool... I couldn't choose..."

"I know how you feel. I like most of them too~"

"Thanks~. Now finally onto Mortal Kombat. There's Liu Kang, Reptile, Ermac, Mileena, Smoke, Rain, Noob, Kabal, Baraka, Skarlet, Triborg, Takeda, Johnny Cage, Predator, Alien, Jason, and Leatherface"

"I personally like Ferra/Torr~"

"Oh yeah~. They're really cool too!"

"I like your taste in characters Y/N~"

"Thanks so much~. I hope I get to play some more of my favorite games with you guys someday"

"Really? Like what?"

"Well, there's Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, One Piece, Naruto, Dragonball, Fortnite, Overwatch, and sometimes I play NBA games~"

I looked at her in shock.

How can she be so cool??? She really is the coolest girl ever.

"What is it?"

She asked, looking confused at me as she stopped walking.

Oh jeez, I'm starring...

"Y/N... You really are the coolest girl I've ever met..."

I could see the blush creep on her face, but she laughed and looked away.

"Aish... Stop trying to flatter me...~"

She laughed. playfully hitting me.

"But I mean it! I've never met a girl that likes basically all the things I like! You're such a cool person to hang out with! You're an amazing gamer, a very lively person to be around, and just a very nice person overall!"

I confessed.

"You...r-really mean that...?"

"Of course I do! I'd never lie to you~"

She looked at me and smiled.

We continued walking for a bit, but then she came to a halt.

"Ahh, we're here!"

It was a subway train station.

"I like to come here sometimes to just be alone"

"You like being alone sometimes too?"

"Yeah... Well, technically I'm always alone"

I looked at her confused.

"What about those four other siblings you told us you had??? The two that were older, and the two that were younger???"

"..."

She stayed silent for a few seconds, and sighed in a sad tone.

"I..., technically don't have any siblings..."

"Huh...???"

"They..., we're miscarriages..."

"All of them...?!"

"Mhm"

She nodded.

"Is the reason that you acknowledge their existence, is so that you won't feel alone...?"

"Yeah... I wish I could've gotten to know them..."

"Me too"

There was a sad silence for a while.

We just sat on the edge, and just enjoyed each other's presence.

"...Thank you"

Y/N suddenly spoke.

"Hmm? For what?"

"For what you said earlier, about me being the coolest girl you've ever met"

"Oh! You're welcome~"

"You know, I've never met anyone like you Jisung~"

"Me either...., but about you~"

Good grief...

Why did I just quote that movie...

She giggled as she looked me in the eyes. I don't know how long it was, but it felt like an eternity. She's just so beautiful. I've never been able to look at her this close before.

I finally get to see all of her features. Her angel-like skin, her beautiful eyes, her luscious hair, and those pretty lips...

I want to kiss her so bad, but I can't... I know she doesn't like me that way... I don't want to ruin our friendship over a one-sided love...

We were snapped out of our thoughts as we heard a loud sound of a train approaching.

We quickly got up and out off the way.

"We should go now huh?"

"Yeah-. OH! Wait I forgot, hold on!"

She said, running off.

She soon came back with some stranger, handing him her phone.

Oh, now I see.

"Please take a quick picture with me Jisungie~"

"As you wish princess~"

Around 9 o'clock

Y/N was already asleep when I got out the shower, so I went back to my room.

He was currently playing Final Fantasy XV.

"Hi hyung~"

"Hi Jisungie~. How did it go~?"

"How did what go?"

"You know... Your date with Y/N~"

He whispered, as to not attract attention.

"O-Oh, it was fun~!"

"Something happened didn't it?"

Great.

"How'd you know..."

I sighed in defeat.

"I know you well Jisungie~. But what happened?"

I sat on the edge of my bed, and Mark paused his game.

"I-Isn't that game at an important part right now?"

"Naw. I'm free roaming at the moment. Now tell me what happened"

Mark insisted.

This is so embarrassing...

"Well long story short, we were at this subway station and we were talking. She said she never met anyone like me, and I accidentally quoted Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs by saying, 'Me either, but about you'...."

"Mhmmmm, go on~"

"Then, we stared into each other's eyes, but I don't know how long though. I wanted to kiss her so bad hyung, but I couldn't...."

"Because you don't know if she feels the same..."

"Yeah..."

"...Well, if it helps, she posted a few things on snap and insta~"

"S-She did?"

"Yeah~. I'll be right back though. Gotta go freshen up~"

He said patting me on the head, as he left to take a shower.

Right. Time to check those updates.

First I checked my snap because why not? And Mark was right, she updated twenty minutes ago.

What have I done...

I let my guard down... Donghyuck will never let me live this down...

Anyway...., onto to insta...

I made my way to Y/N's room, quietly and slowly, as to not wake her. I got close to her bed and knelt down, looking at her sleeping appearance. I sighed, leaning closer to her face and...

I pecked her on the lips, and ran out of the room.

I closed the door and locked it, heart racing. Mark came closer to me, and tried to calm me down.

"Jisungie, are you ok?"

He asked, helping my breathing become regular again.

I looked at him straight in the eyes. I've made up my mind.

"Hyung.... I...don't think I can stand to be single any longer..."
