Fierce
Taylor kept a close eye on Horror throughout his pregnancy, keeping up with his weekly doctor's appointments and ensuring both of their souls were still strong. When Horror wasn't getting checked on, he oversaw his little diner, cooking for their friends and family. Taylor would come over around 5 when Nightmare and Sidney came in to check on Horror, and both the pregnant skeleton and the doctor would fuss over Nightmare Jr. for a bit. Horror and Taylor both closed up at ten, though Taylor was always a phone call away if there was a medical emergency, and they would walk home together for their nightly routine. Decorating a baby room had become a part of it. Horror had a very special vision of the baby room that he and Taylor tried hard to replicate. There was a changing station on one side of the little dawn room with a small trashcan for diapers. The closet had a little dresser and hangers, both filled with baby clothes for both boys and girls. The crib was on the opposite side with a toy box full of toys and a little nightlight. In the back, near the windows, was a rocking chair and a bookshelf where they could get the little one to sleep...

Fierce came when least expected. The restaurant had just finished the 'lunch rush' and Horror was suddenly feeling very weak. He went to lay down in the break room and call his mate because he wasn't sure he could even cross the street. Then she was there, formed in his ribcage and crying because she was stuck there. Taylor had never run so fast to a restaurant in his entire life! He took care, pulled her out, and checked her and Horror over. He also never thought he'd give the baby back so fast. It was like he wanted too, he loved her fiercely... but she bit. Hard. Barely five minutes old, and she made indents in his skin. "are ya ok-?" Horror reached out to check over Taylor's hand with exhaustion and worry. Taylor smiled and let him see. "Nothing a little antibiotics and bandaids won't fix..." Taylor reassured. Fierce merely cuddled into Horror to sleep. "She's gonna be a handful, I can already tell..." He crouched down to rub her little skull. "Congratulations, Bones..." Horror chuckled and nodded. "our little troublemaker..." He mumbled as he fell asleep with her.

Needless to say, they both closed early so Taylor could monitor them both for the rest of the night. He didn't dare part them. The first few night was crucial for a 'mother' skeleton to bond with his or her baby. Not all skeletons followed this practice, but Taylor wanted them to have something close. He would get the baby tomorrow, he just had to be patient... he would also have to talk to Killer and Rane about babysitting whenever they were busy... he pushed that thought away for now. He didn't want to think about either of them not being there with Fierce. That was something for later. He went to peek in on Horror and Fierce, sleeping in the bedroom. They were so cute together... he definitely took a picture. He supposed he would have to try his hand at cooking for his lover and child while they recovered. And probably sleep on the couch. Both were necessary sacrifices for his little family, though. It was really too bad that he didn't know how to cook.
