A Romantic Night
Jack's POV
I decided Elsa had been so stressed since this ghostly thing. So, I decided to take her on a nice evening.
I got some roses, before Elsa got home. "Do you think this will work?" I asked Hiccup. "Yeah, you look great but your deodorant is wearing off." Hiccup said sniffing the air.
I sniffed my armpits and yep, Hiccup was right. "I'll just use your manly spray." I said walking over to Hiccup's manly spray.
I sprayed some of it on me and the smell disappeared. "Where's your staff?" Hiccup asked. "Well, I'm going to bring it." I said fixing my tie.
"Alright, good luck." Hiccup said walking out of the room. Suddenly, Anna came running in. "Elsa's here." She whispered.
"Thanks." I said as Anna left. I took a deep breath, grabbed my staff, then went downstairs. Elsa was standing by the doorway with a book in her hand.
"Hey." I said putting the book down. Elsa looked at me for a while. "What are you wearing?" She said laughing.
I looked at her smiling. "What? Its supposed to be fancy." I said looking at my clothes. "Well, it is." Elsa said smiling.
I grabbed her hand and opened the door. "Where are we going?" Elsa asked from behind me. "Well, dinner." I answered.
"But," Elsa started but I shushed her with my finger. "I'm not dressed up." Elsa said looking at her pastel jacket and her white skirt. She was wearing sneakers since she doesn't like heels.
"It doesn't matter, you're still beautiful." I said kissing her cheek, lightly. Elsa giggled as we started to walk. "Where are we going?" She asked looking at me. "Well, a place called, Tiana's Palace." I said pointing to the place.
The glowing lights shined on it, jazz was playing, the balcony had people eating and having a great time. this was the perfect place for the night. "Whoa." Elsa said pointing to a crocodile playing the trumpet.
"Awesome." I said tipping the crocodile. "Welcome Ya'll. I'm Tiana, can I interest you folks a dinner on the balcony?" Tiana said. She seemed so nice. "We would love that." I said with a smile.
Tiana took us up the balcony, and we were breathtaking. "Wow." Elsa said holding onto my hand tightly. "Right this way folks." Tiana said setting us up a table next to the moon.
"Thank you." Elsa said sitting down. I pulled her seat out and Elsa sat down with a smile. I quickly sat down as Tiana pulled out the menus. "I'll be back to check on Ya'll." Tiana said heading back downstairs.
I looked up from my menu and faced Elsa. "What would you like?" I asked her. "I don't know, everything looks so good." Elsa replied looking at me. "Isn't it a nice night out?" I asked looking at the full moon. "It's amazing. We haven't been this romantic since we met." Elsa said with a giggle.
"True." I said facing back at Elsa. Tiana seemed to have come back with glasses of water. "Thanks." Elsa said handing me my drink. "It wasn't a problem. Now are Ya'll ready to order?" Tiana asked.
"I'll have the steak." I said looking up from my menu. "And I'll have the gumbo." Elsa said smiling. "Glad to." Tiana said taking the menus then running downstairs.
"Hey." I said smiling at Elsa. She turned around from her seat and faced me. "Yes?" She asked looking at me. I gently took her lonely hand that was on the corner of the table. "Nothing." I said smiling.
"Alrighty Ya'll, here's your food." Tiana said setting the food down. "Thank you." I said looking at the delicious food. "Anytime, if Ya'll need something, I'll be at service. Me or my husband will be at service." Tiana said them helped the other people.
"Let's try this." I said to myself, cutting the steak. I glanced over to Elsa and she was already finished. "Amazing gumbo." She said rubbing her belly. "Whoa, you finished already?" I asked seeing her empty bowl.
"Yep." Elsa said looking at my food. "And I see you haven't." She added.
I smiled and ate some of my food until I finished. "So, tell me about yourself." I said sipping the water. "Well, are you sure? My life is pretty boring." Elsa said with her elbow on the table.
"Of course." I said smiling. "Okay, I was born in Miami but I moved when I was in high school. Anna, of course followed me since she loves me that much. Then after college, I met Lyla who I became very close with. She told me about her agency and thought I would be interested. So I took the job. Anna did too. I didn't have a place to live since Anna had a small apartment. I wanted her to have all the space since it was very tiny. So, Lyla decided to have me stay in the agency. Soon, the place was like a hotel to many agents. I used to have a boyfriend but I rather not talk about that." Elsa told me with a straight face.
"Wow, you're a tough girl Els." I said with a smile. "Thanks, what about you Jack?" Elsa asked with a smile. "Well, it's pretty long.." I said taking a sip of water. "I can take it. I'll try not to fall asleep." Elsa said jokingly.
"Okay I hope you don't. So, I was born in Burgess in the winter time. My mother was a single parent when having me. I was always a little jokester ever since I was a kid. About three years after me being born, my sister, Emma was introduced into the world. But sadly, mother died while giving birth to Emma. That's why I don't talk about my mom much. So anyway, I had to fund everything, including bills. Emma decided enough was enough, she begged me to move to California. Since, we didn't know anyone there, I decided to fill out a job application. Faith would have it, it was Lyla's agency." I told Elsa.
She took a while to respond but then she nodded. "Amazing.." Elsa said clapping. I smiled and looked at my watch. 8:48 PM. "Let's get going." I said standing up. Elsa stood up and grabbed her small jacket. There's no way she could be warm in that.
I left the money we owed on the table with a tip. "Got your things?" I asked Elsa who was fiddling with her jacket button. "Yep." She replied as she ignored the button. I wrapped my arm around Elsa as we walked out of Tiana's Palace."
"So, I'm guessing we're going back?" Elsa asked. Her warm breath was against my cheek as I shrugged. "Maybe. I haven't planned this night perfectly yet." I said thinking.
Elsa's POV
I had this thin jacket that was no warm to me. It's a good thing the cold never bothered me. But tonight, it did. "Close your eyes until I say you can open them." Jack said with a smirk. "Uh, okay." I said closing my eyes. Whew I wonder where we could be going.
I felt Jack's hands grip onto mine as I started to walk.
~~~~~
"Okay, you can open them now." Jack said letting go of my hands. I slowly opened my eyes scared of what I might see.
