Chapter 74
"Now, wait a minute, Bro." Chris says, shaking his head. "In Tim's defense, a person can't control what they dream.
"I know. I shouldn't have said that." Adam says as he looks around meeting Tim hurtful stare. "I'm so sorry."
"Angel, listen." Tim says as he turns around in his chair to face his lover. "We're getting married tomorrow. Please, don't start having doubts about my love for you."
"Oh, Honey, I don't. I love you so much and I know that you love me. I just don't understand any of this." Adam says, gently rubbing Tim's cheek.
"I don't either. But what I do know is that I love you and I want you as my husband." Tim says, kissing Adam's lips softly. "Every part of me belongs to you and only you." Tim whispers into the kiss.
"Every part?" Adam asks softly with a smile playing on his lips.
"Every part." Tim smirks.
"Maybe you can have 'Adam's' tattooed on it." Adam smiles.
"Ouch. That would be painful. Besides, I don't think it's big enough to have that tattooed on it." Tim chuckles.
"Trust me, it's big enough." Adam smiles as he crashes his lips against Tim's.
"Uh. Hello? You do know we are still sitting here, right?" Avi asks.
"And I believe my parents have a strict rule, No making out at the tables." Nate laughs.
"Sorry." Adam chuckles as he leans into his fiance's arms.
"Are you guys ready to order now?" Jenika asks as she walks back to their table.
"Yeah, I believe so." Tim says as he glances up at the blond. He quickly averts his eyes. Just looking at her makes him feel extremely uncomfortable.
"Sir? Are you alright?" The waitress asks.
"Uh, yeah. Why do you asks?" Tim asks as his mind comes back to the restaurant.
"Everyone has already placed their order and we're waiting on you." Avi tells him.
"Oh. I'm sorry. My mind must have went to sleep on me." Tim smiles as he looks back at the menu.
"We're getting married tomorrow. He's got a lot on his mind." Adam smiles up at the waitress.
"Really? Well, congratulations." Jenika says with a smile.
Tim finally gives her his order. As Jenika walks away, Tim rubs his hands over his face.
"Oh, my God." Tim groans.
"You okay?" Kirstie asks.
"I'm getting married tomorrow." Tim says.
"Having second thoughts?" Avi chuckles.
"Better watch how you answer that, Boss Man. You're getting an evil look from your fiance." Chance laughs.
"No, no, I'm not having second thoughts." Tim smiles as he takes Adam by the hand and gently squeezes it. "It's just that I just now realized that I'm getting married. Tomorrow. I think my nervousness is kicking in."
"Yall can't sleep together tonight." Avi says.
"To Hell we can't." Tim argues.
"Nope. It's bad luck." Kirstie says.
"Well, that's one thing that you guys do not need more of. Bad luck." Chris laughs. "Considering it follows you anyway."
"You know, maybe they're right." Adam says.
"Maybe you should have thought about that before you kissed me so passionately." Tim says.
"Honey, we don't want to take any chances of our wedding being jinxed." Adam says as he leans over and kisses Tim's cheek.
"Don't you think it's a little odd for yall to be taking about curses and jinxes. I mean, we are getting married on Halloween, aka, The Devil's Night." Tim says, raising his brow.
Everyone looks at one another not knowing how to answer.
"So, where are you going on your honeymoon?" Austin asks, breaking the silence.
"Nowhere." Adam answers quickly.
"Wait. You don't want to go anywhere?" Tim asks.
"Nope. I just want to be locked in our bedroom with you." Adam smiles.
"Awww, that's so sweet." Kirstie smiles. "We can bring you your meals. Kinda like room service."
"Unless you had your heart set on going somewhere." Adam adds.
"It doesn't matter where I'm at as long as I'm with you." Tim smiles as he kisses Adam softly.
"Ohhhh, I think I'm going to cry." Avi says as he reaches for a napkin.
~~
"You know I'm against this, right?" Tim says as he sits on the bed as Adam packs him a change of clothes and the things he'll need to get ready for the wedding..
"I know, Baby. But it's just for one night." Adam smiles at his sulking fiance. "This time tomorrow night, we'll be married."
"Can't happen soon enough." Tim says.
"Bro? You got your things together?" Chris asks from the doorway.
"Yeah, I guess I'm ready." Adam answers.
Tim stands and wraps his arms around his lover.
"I love you so much." He whispers as he pulls Adam close. "I'm going to miss you like crazy."
"I love you too. Being apart tonight will make tomorrow night just that more special." Adam smiles as he brushes Tim's hair back behind his ear and kisses him on the nose.
Tim watches as Adam and Chris walk down the hallway to one of the spare bedrooms.
"Cheer up, Boss Man." Chris laughs as he heads back to his own room. "You look like a child being separated from their parent for the very first time."
"Oh, screw you." Tim growls as he goes back into his lonely bedroom.
~~
Tim turns off the television and looks around at the vacant spot beside him in the bed. He reaches for Adam's pillow and clutches it tight to his chest, taking in Adam's scent.
This was crazy. Superstitions are crazy. He looks around at the clock. The time was 1:15. Everyone is in bed by now. He decided he would just slip down to the room his lover was in. Spend some "quality" time with him and then slip back to his room. No one will ever know.
Slipping on a pair of jogging pants, he walks over to his door and carefully opens it. Peeking out into the hallway, all was quiet.
He tip toes down the hall until he reaches Adam's room. He gently taps on the door.
"Piece of cake." He whispers to himself as he looks around checking to make sure the coast was still clear when he hears the door creek open.
His smile quickly fades as his eyes meet the green eyes staring back at him. Wasn't quite the eyes he was expecting to see.
"Looking for someone, Timbo?" Avi asks with a smirk.
Tim looks pass the demon man to see his evil wife giggling in bed.
"Sh*t." Tim says as he turns on his heels and heads back to his room.
"We kinda figured you'd try to see him." Avi chuckles as he leans against the door facing.
The other doors were now open. His dear friends/employees were standing in the doors laughing.
"Sorry, Tim." Chris laughs at his old friend. "But it's a tradition."
"Oh, F*ck you and your traditions." Tim growls. "F*ck all of you."
Tim stomps into his room slamming the door behind him. Muffling the uncontrollable laughter in the hallway.
