"Oh my God-" Mia said as she slumped down on her chair while the council looked at her with concern and curiosity.

"That Veronica chick's all over you, huh" Marco said as he patted the juniors head while he passes by.

"She's like glue-"

"It's great having the Jovens over but do they really have to come here every single day? My junior is terribly tired." Brian said while he passed a juice box to the tired girl.

"Thanks"

"It's not like you enjoy it. You're clearly clinging on to that Mike guy" Diana said. As Marco was about to speak, he got interrupted by the president.

"Your junior? I thought she was mi- ours?" Bethany quickly changed words as she was clearly about to say 'mine'

"Guys, you all are my seniors (well except for Diana) and I'm your junior. Geez." The junior said as the president scooted over the tired girl. She handed her a piece of paper. The junior raised a brow.

We don't have to practice today. If you want.

The junior quickly wrote a response and let the senior see.

Okay

"It'll be alright, Mia. You don't have to see her tomorrow and the 2 days after that." The senior said.

"Yeah. You could relax a little"

"You're right"

~Tomorrow~

"You've got to be kidding me" Diana said as the council was in front of the cottage to see at least 6-8 people from Jovens. It was after lunch that they arrived. The president went forward and spoke with a teacher.

"Hello um teacher..?"

"Teacher Jasmine..." The two spoke on and on while the rest of the council looked at the students. Unfortunately, they found Veronica. Due to Mia's dismay, she groaned. Mia looked at more of the students to see a lot of familiar faces and saw one in particular, Amber. The day couldn't just get any better, huh. The top 1 spotted her and began walking towards them with Rina trailing behind her.

"Hey. Mia, student council" she gleamed .

"What brings you guys here?" Lonnie asked as a cat sticked out from her hoodie.

"OMG. A cat! Can I hold her?!" Diana beamed as she quickly got Snuggles into her arms.

"We're here for a study camp" Diana asked as she still held the cat close.

"Same" Rina said as Bethany went back to them.

"Everything's a bit messed up but it's all cleared now. Apparently they had Literature and Theater club joined together booked up the cottage at the same time as we did so we'll have to share. They'll only be staying for 1 night though." She said.

Mia mentally celebrated and groan for not having to deal the Jovens and dealing with them for a short time. (Lmao this kinda made sense at the same time it doesn't xD)

"Wait... Rina which club are you in?"

"Literature"

"I did not know that"

"2 words. Greek. Myth-"

"I DIDN'T MEAN IT" A loud girl voice shouted. Everyone looked at their direction

"WELL, YOU PROMISED TO BRING THE EQUIPMENT AND EDIT THE SONG! I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE YOU ARE THE SECOND BEST!" A guy shouted.

"SECOND?! I BECAME THE BEST AFTER THAT CHEATER WAS WELL... A CHEATER!"

"You know, it was better when Melanie did all of this instead of you." Someone from the crowd said as the rest of them  began murmuring to each other.

"But she cheated!"

"I'VE SEEN WHAT SHE COULD DO. GOD DAMNIT. IT WAS FOOLISH FOR ME TO BELIEVE THAT BULLSHIT FROM 2 YEARS AGO."

"Hey now. Knock it off you two. Look, Amber, he's right. Leo, you're almost a teacher. You didn't have to yell at the child " Teacher Jasmine said as she got in between of them. The teacher bonked them in the heads as they began talking and apologizing with the crowd still yapping on. The president looked at the junior.

Mia seemed to have a blank expression then she just faked smiled. She's gotten good with that act that the president almost got fooled by that herself. She couldn't exactly read what's going on with her head but she's got the feeling today is gonna be a bad one.

"Is this normal?"

"Yes" Lonnie and Rina nonchalantly said.

"Fights are often here and we just don't get in the way of that and just let the teachers sort things out"

"Ok. Enough chit chat. Let's start practicing!" Someone from Jovens said as all Joven students looked at him while going to his direction.

"See you guys later" Diana said as the council started going to their part of the cottage.

"Wait...My cat!"

"Oops. Sorry" Diana quickly gave Sunggles to his owner as she quickly catches up with the council.

"I wonder what their problem is.." Marco said as they started setting up.

"They're having problems with their stinger. She claims to be the best though but I see nothing of it" Mia suddenly said as Bethany eyed her. Surprised to hear or see Mia's rude/ pissed off side.

"Harsh much?"

"It is partly true. I've reviewed what she was doing since she got in high school but it's slightly above average. I also remembered a student where her performances were outstanding" Diana said as she tried to remember more of the details.

"That guy did mention a girl. Melanie was it?"

"Yup"

"Also, what did happen 2 years ago?"

"Hey, we're here to practice not to go into drama." The president said as they were already at their spot. Mia quickly went to set up their equipment.

"You guys should get in positions. I'm almost done starting up the booth" Mia said as they did what they were told.

"5...4...3...2...go"

"I found it!" Diana shouted. Diana and Marco were on the laptop while the rest of them went to drink and cool down. They were now on break after 4 rehearsals of practices. The council look at the two as they approached them. They came to see a video.

"So this is what they're on about?" Brian said as he wiped his forehead as the video went on. On the screen were 2 competitors from different sections that were somewhat in a music battle of some sort.

"Wow. You can actually tell the difference between the both of them. The girl in the right has faster hands than the girl in the left" Marco said as he slid up his glasses so he could get a better view.

"What the? D-did she just closed her eyes?! That Melanie chick sure is talented!" Brian exclaimed. Forgetting that Mia was beside her, Bethany gawked at the video seeing Melanie perform something so difficult and fast and yet, graceful. After they performed, it showed Melanie and Amber in an interview.

"How do you two still get along when you're from different sections and get to compete each other?" An interviewer said as he moved the mic to them.

"It's the power of friendship!"

"We were bestfriends since we were young. We wouldn't want anything to get in between of our friendship" Melanie said as the two shared a hug and the video ended.

Mia kept her hand in a fist, trying not to show any negative action. Before anyone could talk, a knock was heard.

"Hey there, student council. Dinner's ready and we've got takeout!" Lonnie gleamed.

~TIMESKIP~

It was now after dinner and all of them were now in one big room with a divider in between. An awkward silence filled the room as the student council were doing some homework. Marco even managed Brian to do it but with occasional whines in the background from time to time. The Jovens didn't bother to make some noise to disturb their peace. The concentrated looks on their faces are somewhat frightening.

Veronica, who seemingly just went in the room, tried to go to Mia's direction but a hand stop her. Her classmate's face had said it all and Veronica decided to not to go. A little while later, Mia and Diana finished then, the president. Diana started to open her laptop while Veronica had started to approach Mia again. People were now gathering around Diana to watch a movie silently.

With Brian and Marco finished, she plugged in her laptop to the television. Mia suggested that they should watch and Veronica agreed. They started to sit beside each other with Mia not getting to close to her.

Minutes had past and some were changing their positions and some were already sleeping. The boys were already on their side with the divider separating the boys and girls. Seeing Veronica asleep, Mia quietly went out of the room.

Bethany's POV

We've been watching the movie for a solid 40 minutes and now it's getting to the climax. I looked to my right, seeing Mia gone. Then, I looked around the room and Mia isn't to be seen. I got up and went outside to see her putting something in her mouth and drank water after it.

"You okay?" I asked as she turned around, closing the water bottle.

"Yeah. Just a bit of a migraine but I'll manage. I took some med incase it gets worse..."

"Could I get a hug?" She asked. Everyday, we have this habit of hugging for fun or just to leave her stress and I couldn't agree more. Of course, I agreed.

I open my arms as she also did the same. My arms went above her shoulder while hers went below mine. We've stayed like this for along time and my stomach has now butterflies in it.

Eventually, she broke apart and we got back. I sat down on my side of the foam and tapped beside it. Mia followed but she put her head on my lap. I began to brush her hair with my fingers as she hummed letting me know, she likes it. Time has passed and Mia was sound asleep on my lap.

Gosh, she looked adorable.

《BEHIND THE SCENES》

"Okay it's quiet again. What have you done this time?" Louis asked. Lonnie and I were quiet.

"??"

"Nothing. We're just respecting the peace and quiet."

"Lmao. We're not at the cemetery-"

"Imma sleep now so byeeee"
