Bethany's POV

I hang up the phone after I had called Lonnie. My eyes darted between the sleeping girl and the papers at hand. I was at Mia's house. I insisted of staying the night in case something would happen. I looked back at the papers. They were Melanie's student record from two years ago. Her grades were above average and her performance was great. So why did she say her grades weren't so good?

A few minutes ago~

Mia didn't tell me anything. Leaving me in the dark. I decided to call Lonnie.

"Hey, is this Lonnie Parker?" I said over the phone as I went to another room.

"Yes? Is that you President?" Lonnie said as her squad had stopped bickering and started to listen.

"Hey, who's over the phone?" Louis quietly said as Lonnie mouthed 'President'

"I would like to ask you guys a favor"

"Sure. What is it?"

"Is it ok to ask about Melanie Sanchez?"

"Uhm okay. I'd put it on speaker, if you don't mind" she said as she went to her group of friends.

"Sure"

"Guys, the president wants to know about Melanie"

"Ah"

"Oh"

"Okshmph"

"Could you stop eating food for a minute?" Louis said as he scolded Ben

"Jeez. Yeah. Okay"

"So what do you want to know, Miss President?" Louis continued.

"What exactly happened to Melanie two years ago?" I asked, fiddling with my hair.

"We don't know.." Louis, Lonnie and Rina said in sync

"Well duh. That's because you guys went to another country for months-"

"Yeah. A country" Louis said as he was being elbowed by Lonnie

"Well, we know what happened to her" Jane said as Sam and Ady held hands. Lonnie suddenly squealed at the sight.

"Yurification-"

"Shhh"

"Shut up"

"Let her speak"

Readers POV

"So at 7th grade, Melanie told us that she was really having a hard time at her grades. She said it was low to the point she started harming herself. We didn't know that at first but Veronica was the first one who knew she had been doing that to herself lately. She told us about it since we were somewhat close and Veronica began hanging out with her. A few months passed and Mia's bestfriend, Amber outed her that she was lesbian and she liked Veronica. After Veronica knew that Melanie likes her, she stopped hanging out with her and the school began bullying her" Jane said as she finished as Niko spoke up

"From what I remember, she was also getting rumors that she was cheating in competitions" he paused. Bethany couldn't believe it. Her- I mean the sweet and caring Anonomi went through all this and still managed to put up a smile.

"How come you guys didn't tell us? We could have helped" Rina said as they were now serious.

"The fiasco quickly ended since it was the end of the school year. We knew that she wasn't cheating so we tried convincing people but they still didn't believe it. The girls also did try to comfort Melanie but she didn't want to talk to them" Ben said as Bethany cleared her throat.

"Thanks for the info guys. I'd better get going now, thank you again" Bethany said as she hung her head low. Before she could end the call, a voice had stopped her.

"Wait.. before you go. How do you know Melanie, Mis President?" Lonnie asked

"I'm a friend of hers." she said as they replied an "okay" then a "bye" as they hang up. Bethany went back to the room

Le present~

Bethany sighed once again as she turned to Mia's side, seeing her scars that covered her entire arms. She teared up once again. She held her hand as she kissed her forehead.

"I promise that I would never leave you. You'd heal and I be there beside you, helping you heal." she whispered as she turned off the light. She got comfortable on a separate foam that Mia was in and slept.

Time skip to 3 am

Mia's POV

Was that a dream? It'd better be. I sat up. I looked to my right as my eyes betrayed me. I could faintly see Bethany on the floor with some foam and blankets. Was I really this stupid? Yeah I really am. Why is everything on time? She just had to be there when I had to play it. Why was I even there in the first place? I looked at my hands. I guess these guys really missed tapping to those shit. The song. That fucking song was also in time. Just why did I put it on shuffle? My cutter- Where's my cutter? She probably took it away. I look at my arm, touching a wound. Ah- it hurts but it feels good. Have I gone insane? Maybe. Sigh.

I look at my desk just to see papers? I got up and opened a bit light so I can see. My report card? It had the some of the information of my academics like how well I'm doing. Beside the papers, her phone lied. Her phone lit up just to see a text notification from Lonnie

"Hey. I hope we gave you the right information you needed to know about Melanie. We hope that you'd find her and bring her back. Best of luck!" It read. I'm not surprised- She already knows...

Well, it's not like they know EVERYTHING anyways. I'm not even mad that she has pried even more into this. It'll pass and eventually, she'll forget about it. Hah. Who am I kidding? I can't even forget it myself. The fact that Lonnie and her group still remembers is just a reminder that the school still remembers every inch of everything I did. I just hope Bethany wouldn't ask more about this...

7 am

Bethany's POV

I woke up and looked around, remembering I was in Mia's house. Mia was still asleep so I quietly went out of the room. I began exploring the house and heard no noise. It's so quiet here, where are her parents? Could she be living alone? She's too young to live alone. Everything is so clean and spotless. Guess I better make breakfast. I found the kitchen. What should we have for breakfast? I remember! She likes eating pancakes. The one that were filled with chocolate inside them. She likes bacon too. I looked at the fridge only to be seen with food from top to bottom. It looks untouched. Huh. I got the bacon from the freezer and found some chocolate. I looked at the cabinets to see pancake mix and a whole lot of granola bars. That's alot. Then, I began cooking breakfast.

Reader's POV

Mia began waking up as she smelt bacon filling the air. She looked at the time. 7:45? Jeez. That's way too early. She got up and went to the kitchen. Bethany's making food. Huh. Bethany turned around to see a pair of eyes staring at her.

"Morning?" Mia nervously said as she looked at what the president was making.

"Good morning, Mia. Glad to see you up." She said as she put the plate in front of the junior and one for her.

"Eat up." She continued as they sat down. Mia took a bite of the pancake and her eyes almost sparkled.

"You remembered? It's been so long since I ate one of these" she said as she almost ate the entire pancake.

"Well, yeah. I remember everything you said 2 years ago." She said as the younger girl nodded. The room was now filled with silence as they continued eating. Now, they were done and Mia was about to do the dishes.

"You know some of it don't you?" Mia quietly said as she turned her back at the president while doing the dishes.

"Yeah.. but Mia, there's still one thing I didn't get" she said as she sat on the counter near the sink.

"You had good grades and-"

"That. That was a cover up.."

"What do you mean?"

"You know that Jean kid we met yesterday? He was my brother. Before the crush thing happened, I was really close with my family" The younger girl quietly spoke as tears were welling up in her eyes. Bethany waited for her to continue

"My family and I were really close. Well, not until m-mom and da-father began fighting. That was the only problem I had so I c-covered it up with a lie. Then, the Veronica scenario happened. It escalated to having a crush and my parents knew about it. M-mom eventually left and father had hi-hit me a few times and ki-kicked me out of the house. He made his secretary made sure that I was still living but I wouldn't go near J-Jean or him." She said as the tears finally streaming down her face. She quickly wiped them and continued on with the dishes.

"What are you doing?"

"Hugging you. Just realised that you hadn't been hugged for years." Bethany said as she tightly wrapped her arms around her.

"You're not disgusted? Usually people would get weirded out when it comes to  gay and-"

"Not at all. You being lesbian is one of the aspects of being you. Let's be honest here, I've never told anyone this but I'm actually bisexual." She said as they didn't budge.

"Why'd you call yourself "Anonomi" though?"

"Ah. I had a channel and I used to make videos and such" the girl replied as she was finally done doing the dishes. She turned around and hugged back the older girl. The younger smiled making the older girl's smile brighter.

"Did you really mean it? The one you said yesterday?"

"Of course. You're one of the bestest friends I have ever had and I'm never letting you go again"

I guess she really meant what she said.

"I SHIPPPP" Lonnie and I screamed at the same time.

"Damn it you two. Every chapter, there's always a scream. It's even worse now that Sugu-chan joined in." Louis said as the others woke up.

"Morning." The main protagonists said as they held hands when they went to the table.

"KYAAAAA" Lonnie and I squealed seeing them.

"My heart. I can't take this-" I said as everyone looked like they were about to kill us.

"Author-chan, just shut up. You're just jealous cause you don't have anyone to-" Niko said.

"Oof"

"Did you just-"

"Excuse me? Then what am I?" The door opened to see LB/Mari.

"You're mentally dating a fictional character, got it"
