Warning: slight smut or kissing. (I don't know what's what anymore)

Reader's POV

Diana woke up at exactly 6:30 like the early bird she is. She could hear some rustling from a part of the room to see Mia putting on her shoes.

"Where are you going?" Diana whispered.

"I'm going for a walk. I'll be back. Call me if anything happens" she whispered back as Diana began to stand up and went outside with Mia.

"Okay. Be careful though.." Diana said as the other junior nodded and began walking. Diana yawned and opened up her laptop, getting in detective mode.

*THUD*

"Shit" Mia cussed under her breath as she held her left hand. She found herself with a tree and at least punched the tree a few times. She was about to to punch the life of it again but hesitated. (A.N: Don't hurt the trees or yourself in that matter. The trees did nothing to you xD)

She finally stopped as she realized she would raise suspicion on her if her knuckles were bloodied and cut open. Her hand was purple, sore and shaking. She could barely open and close her hand.

I know since the first time that this is wrong but that felt incredibly good.

The junior thought as she kept on moving her hand as she enjoyed the pain from it. It made it as a distraction from everything that's going on, especially last night.

The girl panted as she leaned against the tree. Half of her brain managed to get distracted by the pain while the other kept reminding her problems.

"Screw this. I'm staying here for awhile" she said as she sat down, still leaning against the tree. She closed her eyes and tried to calm her breathing...

It's been half an hour and Mia hasn't come back yet. By now, the council was already up, doing their beds. Bethany looked around to see Mia's bed was already done but didn't see Mia at all.

"Hey, have you guys seen Mia?"

"She went out for a walk. She's been gone for awhile though.." Diana said while she read something on her laptop.

"OH MY GOD. I FINALLY PIECED EVERYTHING  FROM THE MELANIE THING FROM 2 YEARS AGO" She added as Marco and Brian came running to her side, eager to know what was happening. Bethany also looked at the juniors laptop to see a lot of information about Melanie.

"You should join the FBI..." the president said.

"Hey, did you know that she's the daughter of the CEO of the biggest music industry called New Wave? I also did my research" Marco suddenly said proudly, as if they were having a match and he won something.

They were surprised even Bethany was. Mia didn't talk much about her family and Bethany felt that she shouldn't asked so of course she's surprised.

"Yeah, yeah so here's what happened...."

Ughh. My hand's a wreck to be honest. There's like a thin layer of skin thats keeping blood from bursting out. Well better hide this from everyone.

The junior thought as she pulled her long sleeve to cover her hand. She put her hand in the pocket of her hoodie and went inside the cottage.

"Geez, all that just because she likes girls? She's a kid for peep sake. I hate how they're crushing her mental health at a young age." Mia widened her eyes as she could hear their voices while her feet moved closer to them.

"Poor kid"

"I wanna hug her"

"Hey, where is she right now?"

"I don't know. I found nothing more about it.." Mia clenched both of her hands and stopped when she was at their door.

She took a deep breath and changed her facial expressions. She opened the door to see them huddled up together.

"Good morning! What are you guys doing?" She beamed as she approached the group

"Morning!"

"I found out about the thing from 2 years ago. Here, read it" Diana said as she gave the laptop to her. Mia "read" while the others were talking about it.

"Is that really the mindset of Jovens? It seems harsh and uhm what's the word,"

"Homophobic? Yeah that's it"

"They lost someone incredibly talented. Just because of her sexuality."

"Still, we don't know where she is right now. There's not much we can do"

"But there is something we can change" Mia listened in as they kept on talking. Bethany was about to keep talking when a knock was heard as the door.

"Hey there, student council. We made breakfast" Leo said as he pointed outside where the food was.

"Thank you but you didn't have to do that"

"We insist. Take it as a token of thanks from helping around Jovens"

"Alright"

Diana has been observing Mia throughout their practices. Her behavior was somewhat off, she flunked the music a few times and is somewhat in pain. The junior requested a break and the president agreed.

"Mia, you okay?" The other junior asked, still eyeing her friend.

"Hm. Yeah. My hands are just tired. It's been a week of practicing after all" Mia changed her hands positions.

"Want me to massage them?" Bethany said as she was about to pick Mia's left hand.

"Thank you but I'm okay. I have my own routine"

"If you say so.."

"I'm gonna go get a drink" Diana said as she went to a vending machine. The 2 didn't spoke a word well not until Mia perked up.

"Okay"

"Say Bethany, wanna practice at my house after this?" She said, avoiding eye contact with the senior. Bethany was also weirded out with her behavior.

"I don't really know. I'm okay with it but aren't your hands hurting from practicing too much?"

"I'll be fine. I've done this for years."

"Yeah but you started doing this again after 2 years with no contact on the launchpad until that day"

"Fine. We won't practice but could you still come? I wanna talk about something." The junior walked away, joining Diana. The senior was left with her thoughts.

The couple were now at Mia's front door. Mia unlocked the door. As soon as Bethany went in, the junior quickly locked it again from the inside.

A sudden 'bang' could be heard as Mia cornered Bethany with her hands. Mia flinched a bit when her non dominant hand touched the cold walls.

"Mia? What are you-" Bethany was stopped as Mia pulled her into a kiss. As much as she liked kissing her, the president quickly backed away.

"Do whatever you want with me" the junior suddenly said, still not making eye contact with the senior.

"What?"

"I heard what you said last night"

"T-then you know about it? You don't have to reciprocate. I already know what your answer would be" She said while she prepared for a rejection but instead, the junior said..

"It's not fair to you"

"I know what it's like to have the one you love to be in your arms and straight up kiss them! It's not fair to you. You've been with me ever since that day, helping me and more. This is the least I could do... So please do whatever you want with me" she added as the senior could see tear drops falling on the floor.

"I've been selfish and I didn't give a thought about how you felt. I don't mind so please.."

The junior was basically shaking and sobbing. Bethany hesitated to follow or not with her instructions. After a few minutes of hesitation. She lifted the juniors head, having eye to eye contact. She wiped her tears and kissed her.

"Tell me if you can't take it anymore" she said as she flipped them around. Mia was now leaning on the wall with Bethany's knee in between her legs and a pair of lips attached to another.

The two have started kissing, keeping in mind of what kind of relationship this has turned into. Are they friends? Obviously no, friends don't kiss. Could they be dating? But shouldn't it be mutual? Friends with benefits? Maybe. Whatever their relationship is, this won't stop anytime soon...
