Reflect groans lowly, shifting on his berth. as he shifts a datapad falls off him, clattering to the floor. hes a little confused, but doesn't bother questioning it as he stretches. he slept walked sometimes. he frowns slightly bumping into something with his arm.

"hey kid." Ratchet says, shaking him gently. Reflect onlines his optics, looking confused.

"Ratchet?" Reflect mumbles. Ratchet chuckles.

"yeah, hey, looks like you slept walked again." Ratchet snorts. Reflect nods slightly.

"yeah... the longer I'm away from the twins the more I sleep walk... sorry. did I break anything this time?" Reflect asks. Ratchet shakes his head.

"nah, nothing broken, but..." Ratchet trails. Reflect sits up.

"but?" Reflect asks. Ratchet shoots him a soft smile.

"the code finished installing while you were in stasis." Ratchet says. Reflect looks confused.

"huh?" he asks. Ratchet smiles at him. Reflects optics widen. "wait... does that mean....?" Reflect asks. Ratchet nods.

"go see your sparklings." Ratchet murmurs. Reflect sits up immediately, shooting a tearful and hopeful look at Ratchet.

"really?" Reflect asks. Ratchet nods.

"yeah, go kiddo." Ratchet murmurs. Reflect hugs him tightly, before jumping up and running off. Ratchet smiles after him.

Reflect races down the hallway shoving Prowl and Wheeljack out of his way as he does so. Prowl huffs, landing on his aft.

"I guess he didn't go up so much after all." Prowl growls. Wheeljack chuckles, watching his sparkling go, before turning to help Prowl up.

"don't take it personally, Ratchet finished uploading a medic code to Reflect, he's going to go see his sparklings for the first time since they got sick." Wheeljack murmurs, pulling Prowl up. "he's just excited." Wheeljack adds.

"Ironhide-"

"Ratchet warned me. me and the sparklings are ready. thanks Wheeljack."

Wheeljack chuckles softly.

Reflect throws the door open, letting it shut behind him. to Ironhides surprise, Reflect doesn't immediately run to their sleeping sparklings, but to him. Ironhide barely has a moment to prepare himself, before Reflect throws his arms around his neck and hugs him as tight as he can. Ironhide holds him tightly.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Reflect murmurs, trying to choke back a sob. Ironhide looks confused.

"what are you talking about?" Ironhide asks. "why are you sorry?" he asks. Reflect chokes and holds tighter, pulling back to look up at him. he takes a shaky inhale.

"I couldn't last a week knowing you were here and I couldn't be with you, h-how did you ever last three years?" Reflect chokes. Ironhide hugs tighter immediately.

"because you were worth the wait. besides, your sparklings were locked away in here as well. its alright." Ironhide soothes gently. Reflect pulls back quickly.

"where are my sparklings?" Reflect asks.

"on their berth sleeping." Ironhide assures gently. there's a quiet whine. "or they're supposed to be sleeping." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect steps away from him quickly and heads to get his upset sparkling.

"hi baby." Reflect murmurs, scooping up Remix.

"carrier!" Remix cries, hugging him the best he can. Reflect squeezes him gently. "miss. miss." Remix cries. Reflect kisses his head.

"I know baby I missed you too don't worry. I'm here now. its alright." Reflect soothes. there's a chirp.

"carrier?" Echo asks, hesitantly stumbling over. she has her arms out to feel for him, but her optics are off.

"yeah kiddo its me." Reflect assures, scooping her up to hug her as well.

"Eco miss." Echo whimpers.

"I missed you guys too." Reflect murmurs, holding them tighter. Ironhide smiles, watching them. "don't just stand there come here." Reflect murmurs, looking over at Ironhide. the weapons specialist smirks, pushing off the wall he's leaned against, to walk over and hug Reflect and their sparklings to his chest tightly.

"its okay Reflect. they're okay." Ironhide assures gently. Reflect sniffles slightly.

"I know. I was just worried about you guys. its nice to see them. its nice to see you again. I missed you guys. I need you guys." Reflect murmurs. Ironhide kisses his head, cuddling his family gently.

"its okay Reflect. its alright." Ironhide assures gently. "they're okay. I'm okay. its alright." Ironhide adds.

"carrier." Remix whimpers.

"I know guys, you two don't feel good, but its okay." Reflect assures. Ironhide steps back smiling at him. "m'sorry Hide... I should've been here." Reflect says.

"no its okay. you were out helping bots on the base." Ironhide murmurs.

"I should have been with my family." Reflect frowns.

"we're not your only family. all the Autobots are family Reflect." Ironhide assures. "you were with family. don't be so upset. its alright." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect sniffles, hugging his sparklings tighter.

"go get a nap Ironhide. I know you're probably tired." Reflect murmurs. Ironhide smiles.

"thanks. I'm exhausted." Ironhide snorts, heading back to their berth. Reflect chuckles softly, watching him walk off. Reflect cuddles his sparklings gently, hugging them to his chestplates.

"my sweet, sweet sparklings." Reflect murmurs, kissing their heads.

"hows it going kiddo?"

"I always cried when I saw them."

"I figured as much. Jack and I have a handle on the medbay for the day. so you just stay with them. you can come back to the medbay tomorrow for a little studying, tonight just enjoy your sparklings."

"thanks Ratchet. let me know if anything changes..."

"we've got it taken care of kiddo, but should something change, I'll let you know. promise."

Reflect smiles and hugs the twins gently. Echo yawns, cuddling up to him, her little engine purring softly. Remix hugs Reflects neck whimpering.

"I know kiddo. I know. its alright." Reflect murmurs, nuzzling him gently. "come on, lets give creator a little time to rest." Reflect murmurs, heading for the sparkling room. he lays down on the sparklings berth, grateful that its normal sized, just lower to the ground, and lets the sparklings lay on his chest. "my sweet little sparklings." Reflect smiles, kissing their heads. he lets himself slip into a light recharge when the sparklings finally settle down into their own stasis.

he's not sure how long he's in recharge when he gets a com from Ratchet.

"Reflect."

"Ratchet?"

"hey kid, I hate to bother you, but I could use some help down here."

"are you okay?"

"please, just, come to the medbay."

"of course hang on, I'll drop the twins with Ironhide and be right there."

"thanks, I'm sorry kiddo."

"no worries, duty calls."

Reflect gets up carefully, carrying the twins over to Ironhide. the mech is still out cold and Reflect feels bad, but gently lays the sparklings with his bondmate, before heading out.

he heads quickly for the medbay. to his utter surprise, there's four bots he's never met in there.

"what the hell?" Reflect asks.

"Reflect, meet Bluestreak, Smokescreen, Blaster, and Trailbreaker." Wheeljack says. Reflect waves at them.

"where did you find them?" Reflect asks.

"remember how Cliffjumper told us more Autobots were arriving?" Wheeljack asks. Reflect nods.

"surprise. we've arrived." Bluestreak mumbles. he winces, squinting at Reflect. the poor bot is missing an optic and nearly over taken by rust. the other three don't look much better.

"alright well, tell me who you need me to start on." Reflect says. glancing at them. Ratchet points to the red and yellow bot that resembles Soundwave in a way.

"start on Blaster. he's in need of the least repairs." Ratchet says. Reflect nods immediately and heads over to Blaster.

"hey I'm Reflect." Reflect says as he starts looking Blaster over.

"uh hi... I've never met you before." Blaster says, looking confused. Reflect chuckles.

"I'm uh, I'm Ratchet and Wheeljacks sparkling." Reflect explains.

"you two had another sparkling!?" Trailbreaker asks, shocked.

"Allsparked." Reflect explains.

"he's Allsparked." Ratchet explains, not looking up from Bluestreaks knee.

"I found him on a battlefield." Wheeljack says, pushing Smokescreen to lay back.

"thats awesome! my best friend was the same!" Smokescreen says, grinning at Reflect. Reflect chuckles softly as he gets to work on Blaster.

"Prowls gonna freak when he sees you and Blue." Wheeljack chuckles. Reflect looks confused.

"why?" Reflect asks.

"you mean he's here?" Bluestreak asks, looking up at Ratchet for confirmation.

"he's still alive?" Smokescreen asks. Reflect looks confused.

"yes. he's here." Ratchet assures. "and he's okay." Ratchet adds.

"Primus.. I thought..." Smokescreen manages.

"when we got separated..." Bluestreak trails.

"whats the deal with you guys and Prowl?" Reflect asks curiously.

"he's our little brother." Smokescreen says.

"our carrier left me in charge of both of them. we got separated. I found Smokescreen, but I never found Prowl... we thought... he was offlined." Bluestreak says.

"I can call him down here if you'd like." Wheeljack offers.

"I can't believe he's here." Trailbreaker says.

"he's been with Optimus the whole time. he's been safe." Ratchet assures.

"are you his brother too?" Reflect asks, looking at Trailbreaker.

"nah, we were just good friends as sparklings." Trailbreaker says.

"he's really here?" Bluestreak asks. Reflect nods.

"yeah he is." Reflect assures.

"Prowl."

"Reflect?"

"step to the medbay."

"is this urgent?"

"yes. your assistance is required immediately in the medbay. please drop whatever you're doing and get down here ASAP."

"yes sir. I'll be right there."

Reflect doesn't even argue about being called sir. he just walks Prowl to come down here.

the three work quietly for a few minutes, before the medbay doors open.

"Reflect-" Prowl starts.

"PROWL!" comes the unison cry from his brothers. Prowl pauses. he looks at Smokescreen then to Bluestreak. Reflect sees a flash of emotion on the mechs face, he believes is relief, but its gone in a flash. the always tense TIC seems to relax slightly.

"well. seems you two have gotten yourselves into trouble yet again." Prowl smirks, sounding amused. he looks the two over, he seems to barely be holding himself back. his doorwings immediately give away he's relieved and probably excited to see his brothers are still living. Reflect smiles to himself.

"you're alive." Bluestreak chokes, staring at him.

"as are you." Prowl says.

"YOU'RE ALIVE!" Smokescreen cries.

"shhh thats my audio." Wheeljack murmurs.

"sorry... its... been..." Smokescreen tries.

"millennium." Prowl says.

"you're... not a youngling anymore." Bluestreak says.

"no, thats what happens when you age." Prowl says. Bluestreak chuckles.

"glad to see you're still the same old little brother." Smokescreen grins. Prowl heaves a sigh.

"must you call me that?" Prowl asks.

"you're our baby brother of course we have to!" Smokescreen grins. Reflect chuckles softly, stepping away from Blaster.

"alright Blaster. it was nice to meet you. you're all good." Reflect says, heading over to Trailbreaker.

"thanks." Blaster grins. he gets up and walks over to Prowl. "good to see you again." Blaster grins walking off. Prowl nods at him. Ratchet glances over at Reflect.

"be careful. I don't know if you've studied transformation cogs enough to go messing with his." Ratchet says. Reflect waves him off.

"then I'll leave his cog for you to show me how to repair later. his arm is hanging on by two wires. I can fix that." Reflect assures.

"alright. just don't try to pry his knee out. I'll have to fix his cog first so he can finish transforming." Ratchet says. Reflect nods.

"still training?" Trailbreaker asks.

"yeah." Reflect snorts. "there is a whole ass story about me you'll probably hear later." Reflect assures. Trailbreaker nods. Reflect glances over at Prowl, whose taken a seat near Bluestreak, chatting with his brother quietly. there's a ghost of a smile on the mechs faceplates that makes Reflect grin a little. he turns back to Trailbreaker.

"a story then?" Trailbreaker asks. Reflect nods shrugging.

"yeah." Reflect murmurs.

"we've got time." Trailbreaker offers. Reflect smiles at him.

"so have you met humans?" Reflect asks. Trailbreaker nods. "well... in the beginning, I was human. I fought along side the Autobots in search of the Allspark. it was destroyed, but its energy didn't go away. me and another human absorbed its energy." Reflect explains, working on the mechs arm.

Trailbreaker seems shocked listening to his story.

"well, then Starscream stomped on me... I met the Primes.. they said it wasn't my time to go yet. the energy I carried was too much to waste, so they used it to create a sparkling. I woke up on on a berth about three years ago as a sparkling." Reflect explains.

"wait, three years ago?" Trailbreaker asks. Reflect nods.

"yeah, there was a battle where Ironhide and Ratchet almost died. the Primes aged me up to help fight. I got to stay with Ironhide, like this. I became a Prime." Reflect says. he chuckles. "became a carrier." he adds. Trailbreaker looks shocked.

"you... you have a sparkling?" Trailbreaker asks. Reflect nods.

"twins. Echo and Remix. you'll get to meet them later. Ironhide is with them right now, they're sick. they've got the sparkling virus, so they're all quarantined in our room for another few days." Reflect explains. Trailbreaker nods. "you can hear more of the story from others." Reflect assures.

"wow... twin sparklings? with Ironhide?" Trailbreaker asks. Reflect laughs and nods, projecting a picture of the twins onto the berth beside Trailbreaker.

"yep." Reflect says.

"they're cute." Trailbreaker murmurs. "transform yet?" he asks. Reflect nods.

"thanks. yeah, they just got their first vehicle modes not long ago." Reflect says, smiling at him.

"do you miss being a human?" Trailbreaker asks.

"sometimes." Reflect shrugs. he shakes his head. "but I wouldn't trade this life I have for anything. I've got Ratchet, Wheeljack, Ironhide, my sparklings.I've got a base full of friends and family. wouldn't trade this for the world." Reflect explains. Trailbreaker nods slightly, watching Reflect fix him up.

"so... you're following in Ratchets footsteps because...?" Trailbreaker asks.

"there's more than 50 Autobots on this base, more than 60 on Earth. there's one Ratchet. one fully trained medic on Earth. one. sure Wheeljack can help.... but there's only one medic. he needs help, even if he won't admit it...." Reflect murmurs, glancing over at Ratchet. "I can't leave him like that.I'm gonna help him." Reflect adds. Trailbreaker nods.

"Reflect, is everything okay?"

"yeah. new bots. Ratchet needed some help working on them."

"alright."

"how are the sparks?"

"still in stasis."

"good. I'll be back shortly."

"take your time."

"you okay?" Trailbreaker asks.

"yeah, sorry. still learning to com and work at the same time." Reflect snorts. Trailbreaker chuckles.

"its a fun thing to learn." Trailbreaker snorts. Reflect nods, chuckling.

"oh yeah, would've been useful to learn that as a sparkling." Reflect snorts. he glances over at the Dotson brothers and smiles. Prowl looks comfortable, sitting beside Bluestreak as he chat. "there you go Trailbreaker, all good." Reflect smiles.

"thanks." Trailbreaker says, moving his arm. his joint squeaks and Reflect winces slightly.

"oops." Reflect sighs.

"don't worry kid. little bit of lubricant he'll be fine." Ratchet assures.

"I forgot to lubricate the gasket." Reflect mutters.

"its not life threatening." Ratchet assures. Reflect nods to himself and sets to work, fixing his mistake.

"are you okay Reflect? you don't usually get distracted like that." Wheeljack frowns.

"I was checking on the sparklings and messed up." Reflect mumbles. "I"m sorry. I'm just worried about them." Reflect adds.

"speaking of sparklings, Jack don't forget to upload the anti virus to all the new bots." Ratchet says. he glances at Reflect. "don't worry about it Reflect. it happens." Ratchet assures.

"hell its even happened to Ratchet before." Wheeljack murmurs. Reflect looks over at Ratchet.

"yeah, happened when you got sick. remember when Ironhide stayed down here in our room with you because of a Decepticon attack while you were sick?" Ratchet asks.

"yeah." Reflect says.

"well, I could hear you purging from in here and I was so focused on that..." Ratchet trails. he snorts a little shaking his head. "well, I messed up on Jazz. I put his servo on backwards." Ratchet chuckles. Reflect smiles a little, watching the medic shake his head again. "mistakes happen Reflect. we learn from them. as long as your mistake isn't deadly, its okay." Ratchet explains. Reflect nods slightly.

"thanks." Reflect mumbles.

"no worries. I squeak all over anyway." Trailbreaker assures. Reflect smiles, chuckling at him. he steps back.

"well, just stay here and let Ratchet fix your T-cog." Reflect murmurs.

"of course. thank you Reflect." Trailbreaker smiles. Reflect nods.

"go back to your sparklings. we can handle the rest. thanks for your help kid." Ratchet says. Reflect nods, heading out of the medbay.

"anytime old man." Reflect says.

Reflect heads back down the hallway towards his sparklings with a sigh of relief. he was glad to be able to help Ratchet and Wheeljack, but he was happier to be able to go back to his sparklings.

"I'm heading back. need a cube?"

"yeah the stack Ratchet brought is getting pretty low. need more sparkling cubes too."

"gotcha. I'll grab some more. when I get back, I can teleport you to the wash racks so you can get that purge off you if you'd like."

"wouldn't I put the base at risk of catching this slag?"

"nah. almost everyone on base has the antivirus, but let me double check."

"alright."

Reflect hums to himself, grabbing a couple of cubes for Ironhide and a couple of sparkling cubes.

"Ratchet."

"kid?"

"would Ironhide getting a wash in the medbay racks put the base at risk?"

"how would he get down here?"

"I'll handle that."

"it shouldn't just be careful."

"thanks."

"shit!" Reflect yelps, stumbling backwards. he looks down. "shit! hey, sorry about that Cliffjumper." Reflect frowns, grabbing his servo and pulling the shorter back to his peds.

"no problem." Cliffjumper mumbles, looking up at him. Reflect gives him a half smile, before walking around him.

"sorry again. I was distracted." Reflect calls behind him. Cliffjumper watches him go, frowning.

Reflect slips into his and Ironhides room easily.

"where are they?" Reflect asks.

"asleep again." Ironhide says.

"good. come on. I'll get you to the racks and get back before they wake up." Reflect says. Ironhide nods, bracing himself. he lets Reflect teleport them to the wash racks.

"that you kid?" Ratchet calls.

"yep." Reflect snorts. he turns to Ironhide and smiles. "com me when you're done. I'll come back and get you." Reflect says. Ironhide nods at him, watching him teleport off.

Reflect lands as quietly as he can in his and Ironhides room., glancing into the sparklings room. both are still curled up on their berth. Remix is curled up with the Ratchet plushie and Echo is curled up with the Reflect one. it makes Reflect smile a little. he heads over to his and Ironhides berth, laying down happily.

Reflect waits on the berth until he gets a com from Ironhide. he happily brings his bondmate back to their room.

"you looks better." Reflect smiles, looking him over. "you smell better." Reflect snorts. Ironhide laughs softly.

"I feel better." Ironhide murmurs. he reaches for a cube and sips it with a happy sigh. "thank you." Ironhide murmurs, smiling at Reflect.

"I missed you." Reflect mutters, hugging him tightly. Ironhide moves his cube quickly, so it doesn't ruin the wash he's just had, but hugs his bonded back tightly with his free arm.

"well, you're here now, so its alright." Ironhide assures.

"I know I just... I missed you guys." Reflect mumbles.

"I know. we missed you too." Ironhide soothes.

"have they had a cube today?" Reflect asks.

"yeah right after you left they woke up. gave them both a cube and they went back to sleep." Ironhide murmurs. "what had you so excited in the medbay?" Ironhide asks. Reflect pulls back and grins at him.

"Prowl has brothers!" Reflect grins.

"shhhhh don't wake them." Ironhide says quickly.

"oh right, sorry. Prowl has brothers." Reflect grins. Ironhide looks confused.

"yeah. Bluestreak and Smokescreen." Ironhide says, sounding confused.

"they're here." Reflect grins,

"what?" Ironhide asks.

"Cliffjumper said more bots would show. well today Bluestreak, Smokescreen, Trailbreaker, and Blaster arrived." Reflect says.

"they're here? they're... alive?" Ironhide asks, shocked. Reflect nods.

"very much so and I didn't know Prowl was a little brother." Reflect grins.

"yeah... wow. they're really alive?" Ironhide asks. Reflect nods, the grin slowly falling off his face.

"why does everyone keep saying that?" Reflect asks. Ironhide frowns.

"well, back on Iacon... we were escaping and there was an explosion. a building collapsed. Prowl was the only one we found. the building had basically cut him in half. took Ratchet weeks to put him back together. considering Prowls condition and the fact his brothers were never found, despite having been right next to him.... we assumed they were offline." Ironhide explains. Ironhide could still remember sitting on the ground, desperately holding a bad energon leak in his abdomen, Prowl struggling to sit up, broken voice box screaming static in a way that sounded like his brothers names while Ratchet and Jazz dug him out.

"they said the same thing about Prowl." Reflect frowns. Ironhide nods.

"those three weren't always the closest, but they were always together, always." Ironhide frowns. Reflect nods slightly.

"its must be a relief to find your brothers." Reflect murmurs. "I've never seen Prowl smile before. he smiled at them. I thought for a moment, he was going to cry, but he didn't, but I mean, I've never seen emotion like that on Prowls face. don't get me wrong I've seen some pretty strong emotion on his face, usually anger or annoyance, but this was different." Reflect says. "he... he got the same look on his face seeing his older brother that my little brother used to get when he saw me come back from the hospital." Reflect murmurs.

"happy. relieved. he was excited to see they were alive." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect nods. "believe it or not Prowl and Smokescreen acted a lot like Sunstreaker and Sideswipe back then, Bluestreak wasn't much better but he wasn't as bad as those two. they were all pranksters and daredevils, but... when we thought they died... Prowl changed. became the bot he is today. thats why he's so hard on the twins, why he was so hard on you. they weren't out there fighting, they were horsing around. Bluestreak threw a smoke grenade at Prowl, Prowl threw it back. the building was so weak already. it fell on them. they were just playing. trying to keep each other in high spirits. to not focus on the fact they were losing their home. its like the whole thing broke him." Ironhide frowns.

"war does that." Reflect murmurs. Ironhide nods slightly. "I don't want to talk about this anymore." Reflect says.

"me either." Ironhide murmurs, sitting on their berth. there's a quiet whine from the other room and Reflect looks over.

"I'll get him." Reflect says, heading into the other room. he comes back out a few minutes later, Remix cradled in his arm. the sparkling looks like he feels better. "hey, his core temps down." Reflect murmrus.

"good. he might be finally getting over that shit." Ironhide says, getting back up. Remix stretches and yawns, snuggling into Reflect plating. he chirps at Ironhide happily. "guess they just needed you." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect rolls his optics.

"no I just didn't get the code until the virus had basically completed his course." Reflect snorts. "Ratchet did his best though. I wasn't coded to be a medic like he was." Reflect murmurs.

"carrier...?" Echo whimpers. Reflect turns to look behind him.

"I'll get her." Ironhide assures. he heads into the sparkling room and scoops her up gently.

"not carrier." Echo whines, turning her head away from him. Ironhide chuckles.

"no I'm not, but he's out here. come on." Ironhide murmurs, carrying her out of the room.

"hey sweetspark. come here." Reflect smiles.

"carrier!" Echo chirps, excitedly. Reflect laughs and shifts Remix onto his hip so he can take Echo as well.

"hi kiddo." Reflect murmurs, kissing her head.

"when you get a few minutes, can you come check the sparklings. you can check the progression of the virus and I can't yet. they seem to be better. I just want to make sure its not the calm before the storm."

"sure thing kiddo. I'll pass Trailbreaker off to Wheeljack. I'm pretty much done here anyway, just needs some welding and an adjustment to his t-cog. nothing he can't handle."

"no rush."

"I'll be there in a few."

"thanks Ratchet."

"Ratchets coming to check on them." Reflect murmurs.

"Chet!" Echo chirps.

"thats right." Reflect chuckles.

"get them to call him grandpa." Ironhide snorts.

"no thanks, I don't wanna die." Reflect laughs. Ironhide laughs.

"you know he'd come after me for and not you." Ironhide snorts.

"creator." Remix chirps. Reflect winces slightly when his sparklings voice box glitches out and distorts the word.

"don't worry. Ratchet said he could fix that." Ironhide assures, leaning over to wrap his free arm around Reflect.

"I know." Reflect mumbles.

"and you did nothing wrong while carrying. these things happen." Ironhide murmurs.

"I know that too." Reflect mumbles. their door slides open and Ratchet pops in.

"hey squirts." Ratchet murmurs.

"Chet!" Echo squeals, turning her head towards him.

"hello cutie." Ratchet chuckles, taking her gently from Reflect. Echo cuddles up to him happily, giggling. "well, she seems like she feels better." Ratchet chuckles. he glances at Remix, who chirps happily at him. "I've the parts on the way to fix his voice box." Ratchet assures, rubbing Remix' cheek gently. "core temps are returning to normal. they feel and seem fine. I'm gonna run a test on you real quick Echo, doesn't hurt. had to do the same to your carrier." Ratchet assures.

"oh Primus. the test that gave him all that energy?" Ironhide mutters. Reflect laughs.
