Noah nods a little.

"okay, as long as I don't have to." Noah mutters. Reflect chuckles.

"no one will push you into a relationship like that, but if someone tries, let me know, I'll handle that. I haven't had much experience with Mirage honestly. he got here after I died-" Reflect frowns.

"thats weird right? that you can say stuff like that?" Noah asks.

"not really. I've gotten used to it by this point actually." Reflect shrugs a little. Noah nods a little. "alright here we are, hang tight, he's a little brash." Reflect smiles, pushing open the Optimus sized door. "Cade? hey! Yeager! are you in here?" Reflect calls.

"up here!" Cade shouts. Reflect looks up. Cades standing on the platform thats at Optimus' optic level. he'd probably been expecting the taller bot. "Reflect? whats up?" Cade frowns.

"I brought you a new friend." Reflect smiles, holding Noah up some.

"hang on, I'll be right down." Cade huffs. Reflect snorts and crouches down, putting Noah onto the ground.

"don't worry about his attitude, he's an ass, but he's a smart ass." Reflect snorts. Noah nods slightly.

"why'd you bring me here?" Noah asks.

"well, background check says you're a handy man. you fix things. Cade is our resident human inventor." Reflect explains. "I think you need a friend on this base with a similar interest to what you like." Reflect adds.

Cade finally walks over about 10 minutes later.

"Cade Yeager, this is Noah Diaz." Reflect smiles.

"a play date?" Cade grumbles.

"just make him comfortable." Reflect says, turning around and leaving the lab.

he's been away from his sparklings far too long. he can hear their screaming as he gets closer to his and Ironhides room. he pauses opening the door.

Ironhide is sitting on their berth holding Remix, Optimus is sitting at their desk holding Echo. both sparklings are screaming at the top of their voice boxes. Ironhide and Optimus both are attempting to get the sparklings to take a cube.

"who the hell hurt my sparklings?" Reflect glares. he takes Echo first, hoping the sparkling will soothe being away from Optimus, then immediately takes Remix, cuddling them.

"they're okay, just missed you." Ironhide assures gently. he gets up off the berth slowly. if he moves too fast he'll piss his bondmate off. "have a seat and hold them, they'll be alright in a few minutes." Ironhide soothes. Reflect climbs up onto the berth, cuddles the twins gently.

"so Echo and Remix." Optimus says. Reflect nods.

"the Primes refused to tell me anything about him, but reassuring me they're both happy and that Echo is happy. I've seen her abilities, but his? nothing. so Ironhide named her what Annabelle begged for." Reflect chuckles softly. Optimus smiles at them.

"I'm glad for you two. a happy family. two healthy sparklings." Optimus murmurs. "its nice to see you good at something other than just weilding a weapon." Optimus adds, teasingly. Ironhide glares at him.

"keep picking on him and I'll beat your ass." Reflect warns, leaning back against the wall behind him, sleepily.

"don't worry about it, I don't need you to fight my battles, we've had this discussion before. get some rest." Ironhide says. Reflect grumbles, laying back with his sparklings and curling up. they've gone quiet by this time, both chirping quietly. its not until Reflect feels Echo dig her fingers into his armor and tug, that he realizes she's moving.

"hey, hey, no way. not happening, lay back down." Reflect glares, pulling the sparkling to lay back down.

"what are you doing?" Ironhide frowns.

"is she supposed to sit up this early?" Will glares.

"no not for another week or so." Ironhide says, confused.

"exactly, lay your ass back down little missy. in human culture we have a saying, if they're growing up too fast, they're making room for the next one. since there will be no next one, she better lay her ass right back down." Reflect huffs. Ironhide lets out a bark of laughter, scooping his daughter up.

"there's no saying like that for Cybertronians, they do what they want, when they want. they will learn what they want, when they want to." Ironhide snorts. he gently sits their daughter up.

"don't you dare let her fall." Reflect growls, watching Ironhide carefully. Echo chirps quietly.

"twins always advance early." Optimus says. "they treat it like a competition." Optimus adds.

"its just part of it Reflect." Ironhide assures gently. Echo chirps quietly. Remix whines softly, but chirps back, cuddling into his carriers armor.

"I'll leave you four be." Optimus murmurs, heading out of their room.

"its getting late, it's 9pm. lets go ahead and get some rest." Ironhide murmurs, climbing up beside his bondmate.

"no, I wanna check on Barricade before I got to bed." Reflect mumbles.

"shhh." Ironhide murmurs.

"Ratchet, how are Barricade and Frenzy?"

"Frenzy's condition is improving. Barricades is stable."

"thank you."

"Frenzy is improving and Barricades is unchanging." Ironhide assures.

"okay, thanks Ironhide." Reflect mumbles, cuddling Remix to his chest.

"of course." Ironhide murmurs softly. Echo pulls herself back up into a sitting position and chirps. "no little one, its time for recharge." Ironhide chuckles, gently pulling her back down. Echo huffs, letting out a chastising click. "shhhh. you can sit up more later. its bedtime." Ironhide murmurs. Echo pouts, but curls up to her creator.

Reflect shifts, there's a weight on his chest. almost similar to when he was carrying. he onlines his optics to find bother sparklings curled up on his chestplates, snoring, and Ironhide gone. Reflect shifts, slowly sitting up and cradling the sparklings.

"thanks Hide." Reflect mutters to himself. he shifts the sparklings gently into one arm and carries them out to the rec room, so he can grab himself a cube.

"hows Barricade and Frenzy?"

"Primus Reflect, you scared the frag out of me."

"sorry Ratchet."

"its fine. Barricade would like to speak with you."

"sure. let me grab a cube and I'll head that way."

"sounds good kid."

Reflect grabs himself a cube and carries the sparklings down the medbay. he pushes the door opens and walks in.

"Ratchet? Wheeljack? Barricade?" Reflect calls, looking around.

"Barricades in the washracks, Jacks still in the lab." Ratchet says, heading out of his office. Reflect looks over.

"sorry about bringing both sparklings." Reflect frowns. Ratchet chuckles softly and walks over.

"don't worry about it." Ratchet smirks, reaching over and taking one of the sparklings. Remix chirps, cuddling him happily.

"Remix." Reflect murmurs. Ratchet looks down at the sparkling and smiles.

"well hello there Remix." Ratchet murmurs softly.

"and Echo." Reflect adds, motioning to the sparkling he holds. Ratchet smiles at him.

"more tradition Cybertonian names." Ratchet says, sounding surprised.

"well, I wasn't gonna saddle them with human names. thats just dumb." Reflect snorts. "besides if they don't like them, or the names don't fit, they can always change them.

"the risk of having twins, one of them almost always doesn't like their name." Ratchet snorts.

"Sunstreaker hates his because everyone always calls him Sunny, but he never changed it." Ratchet snorts. Reflect chuckles softly, nuzzling Echo gently.

"hows Frenzy?" Reflect asks, turning to look at the prone form laying on a berth. he's laying under a makeshift blanket now.

"thats one of the things I called you down here for."Ratchet frowns.

"whats up?" Reflect ask.

"how well can you control your Allspark energy? I know you still have it. I don't think anyone will ever forget the energon incident." Ratchet frowns. Reflect winces. he'd thrown a tantrum as a tired little sparkling and bursts of energy had shot out of the little mech every energon cube in the rec room had exploded.

"yeah, I control it a lot better than I did back then." Reflect frowns. he shooks Ratchet a concerned look. "is Frenzy not doing so hot?" Reflect ask.

"he should've been awake by now." Ratchet sighs softly.

"here take Echo, let me see if I can still do that thing, y'know the thing I did with Jazz?" Reflect ask. Ratchet nods. there was no way he could forget that.

Jazz' broken and prone form laying on the ground after an explosion. Ratchet and Wheeljack desperately working on him. Reflect had walked right up to Jazz, grabbed hold of his arm, and started humming. they weren't sure what he was doing at first, but then, the Allspark symbols all over the sparklings body began to glow and after a few minutes, Jazz awoke. healthy and healed. Reflect had slept for three days after that and woke up starving.

"yeah what did you do anyway?" Ratchet ask.

"mixed our energies, went inside Jazz' mind. its hard to explain, just hold them and keep them back. I don't want them hurt." Reflect murmurs. he gently lays a servo on Frenzys form and Ratchet quickly steps back, sheilding the sparklings carefully.

"be careful." Ratchet warns.

"I'm a wreckers sparkling, I don't know the meaning of the word." Reflect smirks. he turns back to Frenzy and repeats the process the Primes had taught him to save Jazz.

Ratchet watches him silently, unsure how long the process will take, but hoping Barricade will remain in the washracks the entire time. that shouldn't really be a worry though, as Frenzys energon was basically baked into the Decepticons paint. Ratchet had already gotten the humans to order the paint he'd need to fix Barricade up if the energon didn't come out.

Reflect stumbles a few minutes later and lands on his aft on the floor, looking dizzy.

"Reflect." Ratchet says, worriedly. he carefully lays the sparklings down and runs over to him, kneeling down beside him. "hey kid, hey you alright?" Ratchet asks, carefully grabbing the mechs face gently. "Reflect?" Ratchet asks.

"m'okay." Reflect mutters, leaning against the medic with a wince.

"what happened?" Ratchet ask.

"he'll wake up soon." Reflect mutters, rubbing his head. Ratchet sighs softly and helps the mech out of the floor. the mech stumbles against him before sighing and rubbing his head. "he'll be alright." Reflect assures. Ratchet nods.

"what are you doing?" Barricade huffs, walking out of the wash racks.

"I got dizzy." Reflect mutters, turning to scoop up his sparklings. "Ratchet said you wanted to talk to me?" Reflect asks, after scooping up his sparklings.

"we need to either permanently cover my signal or change it. me and Frenzy being here puts the sparklings in danger." Barricade says. Reflect raises an optic ridge.

"okay, I'll tell Wheeljack to get on it, you don't have to go through me for everything." Reflect says.

"you're really the only one here that trusts me." Barricade grumbles. Reflect smiles.

"right I'll take care... of.." Reflect trails.

"REFLECT! REFLECT IT'S ME! NOAH!"

Reflect looks confused.

"Noah? whats-"

"Mirage and I got attacked he's doing his best but these things are huge! we need help! he told me to contact someone cause his com thing is down! you're the only one I know how to get a hold of! he's getting torn apart!"

"stay calm. I'll be right there."

Reflect shoves his sparklings at Ratchet and teleports out.

he lands, transforming. he's never met the Decepticon he see's beating on Mirage, but he's got Noah in his servo.

"hang on Mirage!"

"get Noah! Thundercracker is going to crush him!"

Reflect speeds towards them, transforming, and firing his weapon at Thundercracker.

"let him go Decepticon scum!" Reflect snaps.

"you stupid Autobot!" Thundercracker snaps. he jumps, transforming and taking off into the air. with Noah.

"get Noah, I'll be fine!" Mirage hisses, trying to get up off the ground. Reflect grunts, running after them. he mimics Ironhides cannons and jumps into the air, activating his jetpack. he wants to fire the canons at Thundercracker, but he can't risk hurting Noah.

"quick! the fastest way to knock a plane out of the sky holding precious cargo!"

"Reflect what-"

"NOW PROWL!"

"if you can't shoot, you could throw something or bump into it I guess. I'd need more information to give you a battle plan, what is going-"

"Thundercracker has Noah!"

Reflect speeds after the Decepticon.

"here's three years worth of headbutting things, finally put to use." Reflect mutters. he tilts his head down slightly and activates a boost on his jetpack, slamming his head straight into the belly of the jet. it has the desired affect immediately.

Thundercracker immediately transforms, tossing Noah aside.

"YOU STUPID-" Thundercracker starts. Reflect immediately fires the canons at Thundercracker but heads straight for Noah. the Decepticon wasn't his worry, he didn't care about Thundercracker, Noah would die if he hits the ground.

"hang on kid!" Reflect hisses, grabbing Noah and yanking him to his chest. a shot comes from behind him and he turns, clutching Noah carefully.

"thought you could have a party without us!?" Sideswipe shouts. Ironhide fires his canon again, growling.

"thankfully we happened to be patrolling in the area!" Ironhide growls.

Mirage is beat up, get him and Noah out of here and back to the base.

working on it Hide.

Reflect heads straight towards Mirage, whose finally managed to get up off the ground, stumbling.

"heads up!" Reflect shouts, reaching down and grabbing Mirages armor. he teleports them back to the base immediately.

they appear back at the base, Reflect dropping MIrage into the sand.

"oh shit!" Reflect yelps, curling around Noah quickly. he slams straight into the front wall of the base and straight through it. he yelps, carefully holding Noah. he hopes the man is uninjured, he's surprisingly quiet as they tumble across the ground.

Reflect groans quietly landing on his back, sliding across the ground with a wince.

"Reflect?" Bumblebee asks, running over.

"Ironhide, Sideswipe, Decepticon activity." Reflect winces, dropping his head against the ground. Bumblebee nods quickly running off to tell Optimus.

Ratchet comes racing over, Wheeljack following behind. Ironhide must've warned them, or maybe one of the bots in the rec room, since he just crashed through the wall.

"Reflect!" Ratchet shouts, running over to him.

"get Mirage. get him. m'okay. just gotta take a minute." Reflect winces. Ratchet nods, running for Mirage. Wheeljack kneels beside Reflect.

"you okay?" Wheeljack asks. Reflect winces, pulling his servos back to reveal Noah. the mans unconscious and bleeding from his head, explaining why he'd been so quiet through everything. Reflect had probably knocked him unconscious when he'd slammed head first into Thundercracker.

"get Noah." Reflect mumbles. Wheeljack scoops up the bleeding human and runs him off to the medbay. Ratchet runs past a few moments later with Mirage. Reflect groans, slowly rolling himself over.

you sent Optimus to me?

no I told Bumblebee you guys were fighting Thundercracker. Primus.

are you alright?

yup. I feel great.

your sarcasm isn't appreciated.

yeah well, you try crashing through a wall at the base and well see how you feel about it.

Reflect groans and slowly pushes himself up.

"I've had softer landings." Reflect mutters, stumbling forwards slightly. he shakes his head and heads back towards the medbay. he winces and sighs. "how is it this body is four years old and I feel old as fuck?" Reflect mutters to himself.

"because you just had two sparklings and aren't taking it easy." Sunstreaker mutters, walking over to him.

"Sunstreaker?" Reflect asks, looking confused. the mech half smiles at him, wrapping a supportive arm around him gently and helping him down to the medbay. "m'okay." Reflect murmurs.

"no you aren't." Sunstreaker mutters. Reflect frowns, he's right. he is pretty hurt, even if he's not dying.

"m'not dying, I'll be fine." Reflect mutters.

"you will be once we get you to the medbay." Sunstreaker assures. Reflect frowns a little.

"h-hey Sunstreaker?" Reflect ask.

"what?" he grunts.

"sorry for not calling you by your name as a sparkling." Reflect mutters. Sunstreaker gives a small smirk.

"I don't mind. I prefer 'Sun-Sun' to 'Sneaker'." Sunstreaker snorts.

"yeah, sorry about that...." Reflect frowns.

"not worried about that." Sunstreaker assures gently. "but you need to lay down for a bit. curl up with those sparklings Reflect, relax for a little bit." Sunstreaker soothes, helping him into the medbay.

"I'm fine." Reflect mutters softly.

"lay him out on the berth with the twins." Ratchet says.

"sure thing Ratchet." Sunstreaker says, helping Reflect towards the berth with the little sparklings on it. Barricade looks up from his berth and gets up quickly to grab the sparklings and move them out of the way so they don't get squished. Sunstreaker shoots him a dark look, but helps Reflect up onto the berth. "if you hurt those sparklings-" Sunstreaker warns.

"I never hurt Reflect. I wouldn't hurt the twins either." Barricade mutters, laying the sparklings back down beside Reflect. Echo chirps at the Con, reaching up for him. "you need to stay-" Barricade starts.

"take her. just take her. I don't want to hear her scream." Reflect mutters.

"head hurt?" Barricade asks, almost amused.

"you slam your head into Thundercracker at top speeds and then accidentally put yourself through a wall and tell me your head doesn't hurt. the armor protects it from damage, but not from pain." Reflect mutters. Barricade snorts and scoops up the little femme. Echo chirps, purring quietly as she snuggles up to his chest. Barricade sits back down on his berth, cuddling her gently.

"what are you doing in here?" Sunstreaker frowns.

"Barricade is a neutral. you will respect him like any Autobot." Reflect says firmly. he's laying on his back, arm carefully curled around Remix, and optics off. he can't see Sunstreaker, but he knows the yellow twin. "don't make that face at me Sunstreaker." Reflect warns.

"fucking mini Hatchet senses." Sunstreaker mutters under his breath. he scoops up Remix, cuddling the little mechling. Reflect doesn't bother to stop him, he doesn't really care.

you okay?

m'fine Hide.

you are not. you're angry.

Sunstreaker threatened Barricade, I put him in his place, so he called me a 'mini Hatchet'.

well, he's not wrong.

excuse me?

we're on our way back. we're a little dinged up. Thundercracker called for backup as well, but we're not too beat up.

Reflect snores quietly. he's not even sure he told Ironhide he was falling asleep.

"hey can I steal the sparkling?" Sunstreaker asks. its silent and the mech shrugs. "I didn't hear a no." Sunstreaker grins, turning. theres a loud clang as something makes contact with the back of his helm. he pouts turning around. Ratchet glares at him.

"well, I didn't hear a yes." Ratchet growls. Sunstreaker pouts, laying the sparklings down beside Reflect.

"didn't have to hit me." Sunstreaker huffs, storming out. Echo squeals, giggling as she cuddles up to Barricade.

"aren't you an evil little one?" Barricade snorts. Echo reaches up, happily patting his face. Barricade smirks a little, before looking down at Remix, who watches him carefully. "I'd pick you up, but you scream when I get too close." Barricade snorts. Remix chirps quietly, cuddling against Reflect.

"you're an idiot Mirage." Ratchet frowns.

"I didn't do anything." Mirage mutters. "I tried to protect Noah." Mirage mutters quietly.

"why didn't you call for back up?" Ratchet glares.

"I tried, first thing that jackass did was take out my com system." Mirage mutters. "so I told Noah to use his phone to call someone. Reflect said he was gonna have Jack put the com in." Mirage adds. "s'Noah okay?" Mirage frowns.

"he's unconscious, got a nice bump on his head, but he'll be alright." Wheeljack assures. "and Reflect is the only one he can reach though the coms right now. I just uploaded the important one. Reflect can easily tell anyone that they need, that they're needed." Wheeljack adds.

"told you I wasn't cut out for this guardian crap." Mirage mutters.

"shut up before I take your vocal processor out." Ratchet glares.

"how about you all shut up, before I kill you?" Reflect growls quietly. he cuddles Remix, who chirps quietly.

"Ironhide must be back." Ratchet says. Reflect nods, shifting on the berth. he pulls Remix up to lay on his chest plates, the little sparkling purrs, curling up happily. Reflect immediately reaches for Echo when she squeals loudly, sounding excited. Reflect keeps his optics off, but reaches for Echo. Barricade hands her over gently, laying her beside Remix on Reflects chest.

"there you three are." Ironhide mutters, leaning against the medbay door way.

"either come take them, or fuck off. not in the mood for games asshole." Reflect growls.

"take it easy." Ironhide snorts. he walks over and scoops up both sparklings gently. Echo squeals excitedly, cuddling up to him. she pulls herself up to sit happily in his arm. "you coming Reflect?" Ironhide ask.

"I'm working on it." Reflect mutters, pushing himself up. he heads for the door, but pauses. he turns to Ratchet. "keep me updated on Frenzy and those two." Reflect frowns.

"will do." Ratchet assures. Ironhide shifts the sparklings to one arm, carefully putting his free arm around Reflect gently.

"need help?" Ironhide ask.

"no I'm good, but its nice to cuddle you." Reflect mumbles.

"I'll cuddle you when we get back to the room." Ironhide mutters.

"are you okay?" Reflect asks.

"oh yeah, Thundercracker and Shockwave are no match, even with help from Bonecrusher. turns out they really need someone like Barricade whose just down to fight no matter what." Ironhide snorts. Echo chirps quietly, hugging her brothers neck.

"about how early do twins develope abilities?" Reflect ask.

"pretty quickly. once they start sitting up and crawling, they'll be showing some abilities, though they won't get the hang of it until they start walking and talking." Ironhide explains. Reflect nods against him. Ironhide kisses his head gently. Remix squeals and tries to get away from his sister.

"easy you two." Reflect murmurs, seperating from Ironhide. he takes Remix gently and cuddles him. "you have to be nice Echo. don't be so mean to Remix." Reflect frowns, cuddling Remix. Remix whines and curls up against Reflect. Ironhide groans.

"she's gonna be another you." Ironhide mutters. "headbutting shit, cursing bots, thinking she owns the place." Ironhide snorts, rolling his optics.

"the spakrling of a wreckers sparkling." Reflect smirks. "whats that mean for Remix? eh? he's gonna be like you?" Reflect ask.

"I hope not." Ironhide mutters. "I was worse than you." Ironhide mutters. Reflect chuckles.

"from what I've seen from both sets of twins, is that twins are always a handful." Reflect snorts. Ironhide nods.

"yeah, thats an understandment." Ironhide mutters. Remix squeals, using Reflects armor to pull himself up into a sitting position. "hey how did you transform? it hasn't been two weeks." Ironhide frowns.

"the Primes." Reflect shrugs. "I dunno, I'm just pulling an answer out of my ass at this point." Reflect snorts. he smiles down at the sparkling in his arm.

"he's sitting up? thats so cute!" Bumblebee grins, walking over to them.

"yeah. they both are." Reflect says.

"and they're always cute." Ironhide huffs.

"thats true." Bumblebee chuckles. he walks past them happily and the two continue onto their room.

they enter and Ironhide sits on their berth.

"hey go into the sparkling room, there's a surprise in there for you." Ironhide says, nuzzling the sparkling in his arm. Reflect frowns a little at the room, but sighs and opens the door. he had yet to enter the room, or even look into it. he pauses, a small smile coming to his face.

"really?" he chuckles.

"hmm?" Ironhide ask.

"the color." Reflect snorts turning around. "mint green?" Reflect ask.

"the exact color we painted your bedroom after Sarah left because she hated the color green and you didn't want her to come back." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect chuckles softly, looking around the room. theres a small smile on his face, but it falls briefly.

"oh my god. thats fucking adorable." Reflect grins, finally walking into the sparkling room for the first time.
