"are they here yet?" Reflect asks, looking up from his datapad as Ironhide walks in. Remix is curled up beside him snoring on one side and Echo is on his other side, snoring as well. Reflects sitting with his legs folded, a cube resting on one knee and his other servo holding his newest medical datapad. Ironhide shakes his head.

"should be in by morning." Ironhide assures. "ready for them to get their first alt modes?" Ironhide grins.

"no." Reflect glares. "but I'm not holding them back. this is their next big step." Reflect adds softly, looking down at his sparklings. Ironhide smiles and walks over to him, leaning over him gently.

"don't be upset." Ironhide murmurs, cupping the spallers cheek. Reflect huffs.

"m'not upset... okay maybe a little." Reflect mumbles. "my sparklings are getting their first vehicle modes." Reflect pouts, reaching over to gently caress his sons cheek. Remix chirps quietly, shifting, but doesn't wake. Ironhide chuckles softly, leaning over and kissing his bonded gently.

"I knew it was in there somewhere. you're sad they're growing up, but you forget all this stuff happens before they turn one. its okay. they're still babies by our terms, I promise." Ironhide soothes. "they will be for a long time. you don't have to worry about them growing up. they don't even enter youngling years for nearly 10 Earth years Reflect, its okay." Ironhide assures. Reflect glares at him.

"shut up. lemme alone." Reflect pouts.

"I'm just picking on you baby." he chuckles. Echo shifts and stretches, yawning.

"creator!" Remix chirps, jumping at him. Ironhide laughs catching him quickly.

"hey buddy." Ironhide chuckles, kissing his head.

"creator." Echo giggles, reaching for him.

"hey sweetspark." Ironhide chuckles, scooping her up as well. they cuddle up to him happily, giggling. Reflect smiles at them.

"my happy sparklings." Reflect smiles slightly.

"have they had cubes yet?" Ironhide asks.

"yeah, they had one before their naps but they're probably hungry again." Reflect says.

"coob." Echo chirps.

"cube sweetie." Reflect corrects.

"you used to say it like that too. it was cute." Ironhide smirks. Reflect huffs, getting up off the berth. Remix reaches for him and Reflect takes him with no question.

"walk." Echo chirps. Ironhide nods, putting her down and takes her servo gently. Echo toddles next to him happily. the sparklings babble happily, back and forth between their sparkling chatter and the few words they know. Reflect just nods happily, he understands most the sparkling chatter, it makes Ironhide roll his optics.

"you still understand that crap? its almost been two years since you changed." Ironhide says, looking over. Reflect shrugs.

"yeah. I still understand them. its weird. but it avoids a lot of melt downs." Reflect says. Ironhide nods slightly.

"thats true it does." Ironhide agrees. he grabs Echo a cube and scoops her up, happily feeding her.

"they're growing up so fast." Reflect sighs, grabbing Remix a cube. Remix smacks his servo away, holding the cube and growling at Reflect. "yep, you're mine." Reflect murmurs, chuckling softly. Remix cuddles up to him glaring, he pushes the cube away to chirp angrily at Reflect. "I know, I know, Remix doesn't like it when I pick on him, hmmm?" Reflect chuckles. Remix pouts at him and Reflect chuckles softly, offering him the cube back. Remix snatches it, glaring. Echo pushes her empty cube away.

"no!" Echo squeals, shoving it away.

"okay okay, I'm sorry its empty." Ironhide murmurs. he puts her back down gently. Echo grabs hold of his leg armor, chirping quietly.

"hey, those powerwheels came in for the sparklings."

"they're supposed to come in tomorrow."

"I can't help you kid. they just got dropped off in the N.E.S.T. base. Jack and I were working on something out here and found them."

"thanks Ratchet."

"hey Hide, the vehicles for the sparks are here." Reflect murmurs. Ironhide looks over.

"they're supposed to be here tomorrow." Ironhide says.

"Ratchet says they're here." Reflect says.

"are you ready for them to pick alt modes?" Ironhide snorts. Reflect shoots him a dirty glare.

"no." Reflect growls, squeezing Remix gently. "but I'm not holding them back. so come on, we're going to the N.E.S.T. base. pick her up." Reflect mutters, heading out of the room. Ironhide chuckles softly, scooping Echo back up gently and carrying her towards the N.E.S.T. base.

"hot carrier." Remix whimpers quietly, clinging to Reflect.

"I know kiddo. I know, but it's alright, its only for a moment. when we get to the N.E.S.T. base and out of the sun, it'll feel better, I promise." Reflect assures.

"carrier sad...?" Remix asks, softly. Reflect sighs softly, kissing his head.

"yeah baby, a little." Reflect murmurs, squeezing him gently.

"why?" Remix asks. Reflect gives a sad smile.

"because your big sister never got to grow up like you two are getting to." Reflect sighs. Remix looks confused, but Reflect stays quiet.

Reflect waits for Ironhide and Echo to catch up with them a tthe edge of the N.E.S.T. base, clutching Remix gently. Remix hugs his carriers neck, chirping quietly.

Ironhide frowns, walking up behind his bondmate. he shoots Remix a small smile, but the sparkling just hugs Remix's neck tighter. the bigger mech sighs softly.

"hey, I know its hard on you, Reflect." Ironhide says gently. "its hard to see the twins grow up and not think about how Annie didn't get that chance.... its hard to see them learning to walk and talk and now getting their first vehicle modes... its like Annie learning to drive, we never got to see that and I know this is hard, but you can't stop our sparklings from growing and learning. Annie would be proud of her little siblings. I know you're proud of them too, even if your sad, but you can't let this hold them back." Ironhide says softly, putting a servo on his shoulder. Reflect shoves his servo off, turning to glare at him.

"I know." Reflect snaps. he turns away from Ironhide again with small sigh. "but that doesn't make it any easier." Reflect sighs.

"I know." Ironhide murmurs softly, shooting him a small smile. "come on." Ironhide says gently. Reflect nods, putting Remix down gently.

"okay you two, come on." Reflect says, taking Remix's servo. Ironhide follows behind him, carefully putting Echo down. he crouches with her next to the vehicles, as Reflect does to Remix. "okay you two, you're gonna pick your very first vehicle modes." Reflect explains.

"y'know, seems like we just had this chat with you." Ratchet calls, walking up behind them. Ironhide and Reflect both turn their heads. Ratchet is leaned against a nearby wall, arms crossed over his chestplates, smirking at them. he pauses and sends a small smile to Reflect when he sees the look on the mechs face. he knows this isn't easy for him.

"it was three years ago." Reflect mutters.

"doesn't mean anything. feels like just yesterday." Wheeljack says softly, walking over.

"you two joining us for this?" Ironhide asks, amused. he knows they wouldn't miss it. Reflect was still their sparkling.

"wouldn't miss it for the world." Ratchet assures. Reflect nods.

"alright Remix, go pick whichever one you want, okay?" Reflect ask. Remix looks unsure. "go on, its okay." Reflect assures gently. Remix takes a step back, shaking his head. he gives Reflect a nervous look.

"how about you Echo, you go pick one you like, show your brother how its done." Ironhide murmurs, gently nudging his daughter. Echo chirps and takes a hesitant step forward. she chirps again, quieter, and reaches a servo out. she can see the outlines of her creators, brother, and the vehicles, but they're both scared. she chirps again. Remix looks over at her and whines softly, before taking her servo. they inch towards the vehicles together, so Reflect and Ironhide step back carefully.

"how're you holding up kid?" Wheeljack asks, looking over at Reflect. Reflect huffs.

"there's always that part of me thats proud of them and doesn't wanna hold them back... but there's always that same size part of that... is angry that Annie never got to do the human equivalents." Reflect explains.

"its always gonna be hard. we get it." Ratchet assures.

"yeah I know." Reflect mutters. "are you two gonna pick the same vehicles? you don't have to. you can pick whatever you want." Reflect assures gently.

"want!" Echo chirps.

"want too!" Remix growls.

"okay okay. absolutely pick it. if thats what you want, thats what you pick." Reflect murmurs.

"well, now we have they Lambo twins in yellow and red and the Chevy twins in green and orange. now we've got the GMC twins." Ratchet snorts.

"wonder what colors they'll pick." Wheeljack grins excitedly.

"Hummers. my sparklings are GMC Hummers." Ironhide mutters.

"well, a family of GMCs." Reflect says. he turns to Ironhide. "you started this." Reflect says.

"me?" Ironhide huffs. "I just happened to land in a backyard where they had a GMC. I like my alt. I was a GMC first, you copied me." Ironhide huffs.

"well, aren't you two cute?" Wheeljack grins, watching the sparklings. Reflect turns back to his sparklings. the sparklings have chosen complimenting purple and blue colors.

"awww look at you two." Reflect smiles. they transform back and look at Reflect giggling.

"oh, he's purple?" Ironhide ask. Reflect whips around, a fire in his optics. he growls.

"DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT!?" Reflect growls. Ironhide immediately steps back, putting his servos up to show his innocence.

"no, I just thought she was the purple one. you know she sees darker colors better with her optics." Ironhide explains.

"thats why he's purple." Reflect huffs. "so she can see him." Reflect mutters, picking up his sparklings. Remix looks his new armor over, chirping quietly. Echo feels herself over before chirping and reaching for Ratchets outline.

"alright, come here squirt. lets have a look at that armor, hmmm? thats a pretty blue you've chosen." Ratchet murmurs.

"I assume the Primes helped her pick that out." Reflect says.

"probably. they interfered in your sparkling hood a lot." Ironhide mutters.

"what color is that cutie?" Wheeljack asks, poking gently at Remix. the little mechling giggles.

"purple!" Remix giggles.

"thats right." Reflect murmurs, smiling.

"Achmis!" Remix chirps pointing. the four mechs look over. Optimus waves at them.

"Anonymous!" Echo chirps giggling. Optimus chuckles.

"hello Remix, hello Echo." Optimus smiles.

"hey Prime, whats up?" Reflect asks.

"just heard the sparklings were getting a vehicle mode." Optimus smiles. "I just wanted to check and see how it was going." he smiles.

"they chose GMC Hummers." Ironhide says.

"ah, another set of matching twins." Optimus chuckles.

"on the bright side every set of twins chooses a different vehicle brand. Lambo, Chevy, GMC. at least we don't have to name each individual bot, we can just say which brand." Reflect snorts. "we told them they didn't have to chose the same vehicle, but they were persistent." Reflect chuckles.

"most twins are." Ratchet says. "now you two just have to teach those two to drive. you picked it up right away, but most sparklings don't." Ratchet adds, looking at Reflect.

"actually, I literally learned how to drive when I was zipping around with Sam in the bed of my alt. everything else was the Primes controlling me. I mean, I complained about the radio being plastic and they took control. that was really kinda it. I wasn't in any control." Reflect shrugs, cuddling his sparkling gently. he carefully sets Remix down gently. Echo cuddles into Ratchet, clinging to the medic.

"you know, you can't have him, Ratchet is mine." Wheeljack teases, gently stroking the sparklings cheek. Echo growls and glares at him.

"no! mine!" Echo growls. Reflect chuckles softly.

"watch it Wheeljack." Reflect warns gently. "remember what happened the last time you picked on a sparkling like that." Reflect warns. Wheeljack frowns slightly, rubbing his audial fin.

the last sparkling Wheeljack had picked on about Ratchet being his, was Reflect. he and Ratchet had been horsing around, playfully shoved Ratchet, and Reflect had come out of no where. the sparkling had physically knocked Wheeljack to the ground and growl at him, warning Wheeljack that Ratchet was his. Wheeljack had immediately argued that Ratchet was his first, so Reflect bit his audial fin and ripped it straight from the mechs helm.

"yeah, alright. point taken. I'm sorry. I'm sorry Echo." Wheeljack soothes gently, stepping back. Ratchet snorts.

"you were a mean little fucker." Ratchet snorts at Reflect. Reflect shrugs.

"I was always looking for a fight." Reflect shrugs.

"makes sense though, I've met your bondmate." Ratchet mutters. Ironhide huffs, good naturedly. Remix whines reaching for Ironhide. Ironhide picks the mechling up and looks him over.

"well, now you've both got some better armor." Ironhide murmurs. Remix cuddles up to his creator, yawning.

"I guess he didn't get his nap out." Reflect frowns. "they were only down for about an hour." Reflect adds. Remix cuddles up to Ironhide whining.

"well, I they should probably go back down." Ironhide mumbles.

"why did you wake them up?" Wheeljack asks.

"we didn't. they heard Ironhide come in and woke up to see him." Reflect says, reaching for Echo gently. Ratchet passes her over.

"well its best to get them back to a nap then." Ratchet chuckles. Reflect nods and waves at them carrying his daughter off. Ironhide follows behind him with Remix.

they take the two sparklings back to their room and lay them down for a nap.

"well, now what?" Ironhide asks, plopping himself onto his and Reflects berth. Reflect shrugs a little, climbing up onto the berth with him.

"how do you teach a sparkling to drive?" Reflect asks. Ironhide shrugs.

"Optimus taught Bumblebee, the Lambo twins already knew how to drive, and the Primes taught you." Ironhide shrugs. he waves it off slightly. "we'll figure it out. wing it like we always do." Ironhide adds. Reflect snorts and leans against him happily. Ironhide chuckles. "did you still want to go do something tomorrow?" Ironhide asks. Reflect shrugs.

"it would be nice to get off the base, but we've never both been away from the sparklings and I don't know how they'd react." Reflect replies.

"surely it wouldn't be too bad." Ironhide says. Reflect frowns.

"thats right, you still don't remember Ratchet going to the moon." Reflect frowns. Ironhide looks over at him.

"no I don't." Ironhide says, optic ridge raised.

"well, lets just say it doesn't feel good at all. I'm not even actually their sparkling and it hurt a lot. like, physical pain in my spark. wasn't a good feeling." Reflect explains. "and nothing fixed it until Ratchet came back. it wasn't as bad as the pain I felt from your spark, but it was pretty close." Reflect adds.

"that bad?" Ironhide ask. Reflect nods.

"I don't want to do that to our sparklings." Reflect says.

"me either. we could stay closer to the base. just go out to the weapons vault and watch a movie." Ironhide says. "that way we're close enough that if they have issues, we're right here." Ironhide murmurs softly. Reflect nods slightly, cuddling against him.

"okay, I can work with that." Reflect murmurs. "unless, there was somewhere you wanted to go?" Reflect asks, hesitantly, looking at him.

"I was just gonna take you to that drive in that they just built. it seemed like the best place, but I don't think the twins would sit still long enough to watch a movie and we're not going to leave them in pain like that." Ironhide murmurs.

"okay, I just wanted to make sure you didn't have some serious plans that I was making you miss out on.." Reflect says.

"even if I did, we're not leaving our sparklings like that. our fun will not bring them pain." Ironhide frowns. "how long did it hurt you like that when Ratchet or Wheeljack left?" Ironhide ask.

"until I was almost two, but Ratchet already assured me that the twins should be good after they turn one. that it was different because I didn't technically have creators. I came from Allspark energy." Reflect says. Ironhide nods.

"well, we'll try that out later. we won't hurt them." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect cuddles closer to his bondmate. "are you ready for a nap?" Ironhide chuckles softly.

"yeah, sorry. Echo didn't recharge last night." Reflect mumbles.

"why didn't you wake me up?" Ironhide frowns.

"its okay. its part of having a blind sparkling, sometimes they don't rest at night." Reflect assures. "you were supposed to have shift today, why are you off so early?" Reflect ask.

"well, Sams on summer vacation, so Bumblebee is here this month, he ask to take my patrols so I could spend time with the sparklings while Sam studies in his room." Ironhide says. Reflect nods. "so I get to spend time with you and the sparklings." Ironhide murmurs, pulling him closer.

"thats great." Reflect murmurs, curling up. Ironhide snorts, pulling him closer as he lays them both down so Reflect doesn't have to sleep sitting up.

"next time wake me up." Ironhide murmurs.

"I thought you had to work, I wasn't gonna wake you up." Reflect mumbles.

"I don't care if I have patrol or not. those are my sparklings too, just because I have patrol doesn't mean anything. Prime understands sometimes sparklings just don't recharge. he'll move my shift around its fine." Ironhide assures.

"yeah but it fucks around with someone elses schedule and I don't want to do that. its easier for everyone if I deal with it while you rest." Reflect mumbles, dropping his head onto Ironhides chestplates. the bigger wraps an arm tightly around him.

"don't worry about anyone else. whats important here is we're both raising these sparklings, got it? they're mine too and I'm going to help you raise them. no one else is our worry unless we're on a battle field or you're in the medbay. just wake me up next time. I need to be here for you and the sparklings and I'm doing the best I can, but it doesn't work if you don't let me help." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect nods slightly, wrapping his arm around the biggers waist, yawning. "okay, get some rest." Ironhide says, kissing his head. Reflect mumbles at him.

Reflect shifts, groaning. his internal clock says he's been out for about two hours. Ironhide looks down at him immediately.

"hey. you don't sound ready to be awake." Ironhide snorts.

"m'not, my system is warning about emergency shut down if I don't get a cube." Reflect mutters, pushing himself up. "the sparklings still asleep?" Reflect ask.

"nah, they've been up playing in their room for about 45 minutes. go get you a cube and I'll check on them." Ironhide says. Reflect nods and gets up, stretching.

"okay." Reflect mumbles, heading out of the room. Ironhide gets up and heads for the sparkling room.

"hey squirts." Ironhide chuckles. Remix jumps up out of the floor immediately, running over to his creator.

"hungry!" Remix chirps. Ironhide pats his head gently.

"okay, well come on, we'll get you a cube." Ironhide says. "you coming Echo?" Ironhide ask. Echo reaches up for him with a whine. "sure kiddo." Ironhide assures, scooping the sparkling up gently.

"mine." Echo chirps, hugging his neck. Ironhide chuckles softly, kissing her head.

"of course baby girl." he murmurs. he looks down at Remix. "what about you? you walking or do you want me to carry you?" Ironhide ask. Remix throws his arms into the air chirping.

"me too! me too!" Remix chirps. Ironhide scoops him up gently.

"alright c'mon." Ironhide murmurs.

sparks and I are headed your way. apparently we're starving our sparklings.

does that really surprise you? those two are always hungry. I'll get cubes for them.

Ironhide carries them into the rec room, putting them down once they're in the room.

"hey look at you two, what alt modes did they pick? their armor looks so different, did they chose two separate vehicles?" Hound asks, looking at the sparklings.

"Hummers." Ironhide says. "Remix changed the way his armor sat because I confused him for Echo for a moment." Ironhide frowns.

"wow, creator of the year." Hound snorts.

"hey watch it. you used to get your aft beat on a weekly basis because you confused Sunstreaker and Sideswipe." Ironhide huffs.

"oh thats a story I need to hear." Reflect snorts, walking over. he crouches and hands a cube to each sparkling. Echo takes hers happily and plops on the ground to drink it at Ironhides peds. Remix clutches his cube and wonders over to Wheeljack, who is sitting nearby.

"hey cutie, still need cuddles when you eat?" Wheeljack chuckles, scooping him up. Remix little engine purrs happily and leans back against him happily, sucking his cube down.

"have they learned to drive yet?" Sideswipe asks, looking up from the tv.

"clearly not as they're not racing around the base like Reflect used to." Prowl scoffs, walking through the room to get himself a cube. Ironhide grunts when Reflect suddenly shoves his cube at him, hitting him in the chest. Ironhide grabs it and watches Reflect storm over to Prowl. he grabs hold of the TICs doorwing, carefully as he doesn't want to hurt the mech yet, and yanks him back towards his face. "hey!" Prowl growls. Reflect yanks him around and picks the smaller bot up bringing him to his faceplates.

"I dare you to do to my sparklings what you did to me. absolutely dare. you think Ratchet was a nightmare to deal with, you haven't seen anything yet. you ram my sparklings headfirst into a wall and I will physically shove your head so far up your aft, that not even Prime will be able to find it! got it!?" Reflect snaps. Prowl grunts, trying to push Reflects servos off.

"if your sparklings bring a danger-" Prowl starts. nearby bots wince at the sound Reflects servos make as they clench down on Prowls armor, denting and bending the plating in his servos.

"NO EXCUSES!" Reflect snaps. Prowl grunts struggling with him. his peds are no longer touching the ground and now Reflect was physically crushing his armor. he was uncomfortable and a little nervous. Ironhide certainly wouldn't mind letting Reflect kill him right here, for the simple fact their sparklings are involved. "if you hurt my sparklings-" Reflect starts.

"whats is going on in here?" Optimus frowns, walking over. Reflect shakes Prowl hard, the smaller mech desperately gripping at Reflects servos, peds pressed against Reflects abdominal plating as he tries to shove away.

"let go of me!" Prowl shouts. "stop shaking me around!" Prowl adds.

"Reflect. Prowl is not a maraca, stop shaking him." Ironhide says, scooping Echo up gently.

"okay, okay, before you hurt Prowl anymore, tell me whats going on." Optimus says gently.

"I'm warning him." Reflect snaps. "my sparklings have alt modes and if he dares hurt my sparklings the way he did me when I first started driving, this will be the LEAST of his issues. I will kill you if you hurt them Prowl. you saw what I did to Hot Rod, I'll absolutely kill you!" Reflect growls in warning.

"okay, you warned him, not put him down." Optimus says.

"Optimus, you cannot seriously be-" Prowl starts. he's cut off with a yelp when Reflect squeezes harder.

"Prowl." Optimus says firmly.

"alright Reef, he gets it. put him down, okay? he knows not to hurt them now." Ironhide says gently. Reflect drops the mech and storms back over to Ironhide, taking his cube. Remix laughs and cuddles to Wheeljack. Echo finishes her cube and whines.

"down!" Echo chirps. Ironhide puts her down gently.

"how well can she see with her optics while in vehicle mode?" Reflect asks, looking at Wheeljack. he sips his cube. Wheeljack shrugs.

"I never tested them for that. I didn't think about it." Wheeljack frowns. "but I can get them tested." Wheeljack adds.

"I bet we'll figure it out." Ironhide says, looking at Echo.

"Re down! Re down!" Remix screams.

"okay okay, sorry." Wheeljack chuckles, putting the sparkling down. Remix runs over to Echo, hugging her happily. Ironhide chuckles softly.

"I may have broken Prowls shoulder strut and I probably damaged his left door wing."

"what happened?"

"remember how I was driving around the base and he made me slam into a wall?"

"yeah. I was banging dents out of you for three hours."

"well, I threatened him in case he ever did the same to the sparklings. he kind tried to tell me it would be there fault, but I got angry."

"I fix him up."

Remix giggles, transforming.

"aww look at him, those little hummers are so freaking cute." Reflect murmurs. Echo pats her brothers hood and transforms as well.

"they should figure out what they need to do after a few minutes." Wheeljack says.

"if any of you idiots feel the need to stop and step in front of my sparklings while they're learning to drive, I will personally see to it that you meet Primus before the end of the day, and if you don't believe me, you can ask Prowl. he's already experienced what can happen."

Ironhide chuckles softly.

"Re go!" Remix chirps. his little tires start spinning, leaving little black marks on the ground.

"let off the break kiddo." Ironhide says. Remix squeals and suddenly goes flying backwards. Reflect chuckles softly. Echo inches forward hesitantly, bumping into Ironhides ped.

"thats okay." Ironhide snorts, stepping back out of her way.

"how dare you get in her way after that com I just sent out." Reflect huffs, frowning at Ironhide. Ironhide rolls his optics, chuckling. he knows his bonded is teasing.

"see they'll figure it out." Wheeljack chuckles. Echo inches forwards hesitantly. Reflect walks around and crouches in front of her.

"hey, can you see sweetie?" Reflect asks. Echo whines.

"she already has limited vision she just has to get used to it." Wheeljack assures.

"mmhmm, I want you to show me how well she can see like this." Reflect says. Echo rolls forwards again, stopping before she bumps into Reflect, turning her little wheels left then right.

"Re." Echo whines.

"Remix is going backwards, you are going forwards. are you trying to go backwards?" Reflect asks. Remix squeals, speeding past Reflect backwards.

"go baby go." Ironhide snorts, following Remix out of the room.

"don't let anyone step on him, I swear." Reflect growls.

"he's safe with me." Ironhide assures. Echo slowly inches her way slowly towards Wheeljack.

"come here sweetspark." Wheeljack murmurs, getting down in the floor. Echo slowly makes her way over to him and transforms. the little sparkling stumbles, slaming fast first into the inventors chestplate. "whoops, take it easy kiddo." Wheeljack murmurs, carefully picking the sparkling up. she cuddles into him quietly. Reflect smiles at them, before his back straightens. a dark look come across his face as a loud scream reaches the rec room.

"keep her. I'll be back." Reflect snaps, running out of the room. Echo watches him go, before turning back around to Wheeljack. she pats his face quietly.

"yes?" Wheeljack asks. Echo wiggles away from him whining. "okay go get them sweetie." Wheeljack murmurs. Echo turns to look at him with a whimper. "what?" Wheeljack asks softly.

"Reflect and Ironhide don't let her go anywhere alone because she's blind idiot." Hound huffs. Wheeljack frowns and gets up. Echo reaches for his servo, whimpering.

"okay, okay, I'll go with you, its alright." Wheeljack murmurs gently. he takes her servo and leads her out of the room.

"Re." Echo whimpers.

"its okay, we'll find Remix." Wheeljack soothes.

"where are you guys? Echo is upset."

"medbay. Remix got hurt."

"is he alright?"

"he will be."

Wheeljack frowns, scooping Echo up gently.

"come on sweetspark, Remix needs some love." Wheeljack murmurs.

Wheeljack rushes to the medbay quickly where Reflect is attempting to hold Remix down while the sparkling screams at the top of his voice box.

"what happened?" Wheeljack asks, walking over. Echo whimpers reaching for her creator. Ironhide takes her gently.

"one of the stupid humans dropped a box of tacks and because he was driving backwards, he didn't see them. he ran right over them." Ironhide frowns.

"I know Remix, I know baby." Reflect sighs softly, holding him gently. Remix isn't making it easy. "Hide, give me a hand here." Reflect grunts, trying to avoid being kicked in the face.

"sure, here, sit here Echo." Ironhide murmurs, putting the sparkling on a separate berth. he walks over and help Reflect hold their sparkling down.

"try to keep him from squirming." Ratchet frowns.

"we're trying Ratchet, we don't want to hurt him. " Reflect huffs. "just hurry up would you?" he glares.

"I don't want to hurt him either." Ratchet huffs. Wheeljack walks over quickly and pushes Reflect out of the way gently.

"go hold Echo, she's just as upset as Remix." Wheeljack murmurs. Reflect nods and walks over to Echo, scooping her up gently.

don't worry Remix is alright. I know you're upset too.

why the fuck doesn't it bother you!?

it does Reflect, of course it bothers me. he's my sparkling too, but he needs to sit still so Ratchet can help him.

Reflect hugs Echo tightly to his chestplates.

"shhhh. its alright little one." Reflect murmurs, nuzzling her gently. Echo whimpers looking towards her brother. Reflect knows all she can see is outlines, but he covers her optics gently and turns her away.

the sparkling is still sobbing five minutes later when Ratchet steps back and finally lets Ironhide scoop Remix up. Remix sobs, burying his face into Ironhides neck, clinging to his creator.

"I know Remix. I know." Ironhide murmurs softly, rubbing his back gently. Echo cuddles to Reflect watching her brother with a whimper.

"he'll be alright. just don't let them drive around in the base until the humans get it cleaned up." Ratchet said.

"maybe we should block off the human areas while they're in their vehicle forms. we thought about doing that for you, but you had some natural aversion to the humans on base. what was that about anyway?" Wheeljack asks. Reflect shrugs.

"fuck if I know. ask the Primes." Reflect scoffs.

"okay come on. our room is safe for them to drive around in and get some practice." Ironhide says. Reflect nods and heads out of the medbay. "I don't know what the issue was with the humans, but don't fucking as that again. he doesn't like to talk about it." Ironhide snaps, glaring at Wheeljack. he follows after his bondmate.

they meet up in their room. Reflects already sitting on their berht, the sparklings room has been locked open to give them more room, and Echo is hesitantly rolling towards her and Remixs room.

"do you want to hold him? he's not ready to get back down there. he's still upset." Ironhide asks, walking over to his bondmate.

"yeah. let me see him." Reflect says, reaching for their son. Ironhide passes the little bot over. "come here kiddo. its alright." Reflect murmurs. Remix whimpers, cuddling to him. "I know. it wasn't very nice of us to hold you down." Reflect murmurs softly. Remix whines.

"hurt." Remix whimpers.

"yeah, I know." Reflect murmurs. "why don't you get down there and drive around with your sister?" Reflect ask.

"no." Remix whimpers, curling up.

"okay. you can sit with me." Reflect murmurs, kissing his head.

"Echo, where'd you go kid?" Ironhide asks, heading into the sparkling room. Echo squeals giggling in the other room. Ironhide carries her back in. "here, your brother needs you." Ironhide murmurs. he puts her on the berth and Echo immediately runs over to her brother, hugging him with a whine. Reflect scoops her up gently, letting her sit in his lap with her brother.

"are all twins this cute and connected as sparklings?" Reflect asks. Ironhide shrugs.

"the only set of sparklings twins I've met is ours. the Lambo twins were younglings and, while they were pretty close, they were assholes. they're still like that." Ironhide shrugs. Reflect nods a little.

"I hope they grow into their own bots but they stay pretty close." Reflect murmurs. Ironhide climbs up onto the berth.

"I'm sure they will." Ironhide assures gently. Reflect cuddles against him, watching their sparklings. Echo purrs happily, hugging Remix tightly. Remix cuddles to her happily. Reflect sighs and leans against Ironhide.

"the future doesn't matter at this time, they're happy right now." Reflect murmurs. Ironhide smiles at him. things would be alright.
