Reflect doesn't wake up again for a while, he spends the rest of the day in Sideswipes berth, snoring and cuddled up to Sunstreaker. its nearing 10PM when he finally wakes to a come from his bonded.

Will? you okay? where are you? I checked the medbay, but Ratchet said you were in the rec room, but you weren't. where are you?

m'cuddled up to Sunstreaker. he's really warm. got cold n'had a nap.

are you in their room?

yeah.

I'll be there shortly to get you.

m'kay.

the mech shifts, mumbling.

"Ironhides on his way." he mumbles.

"great, now its time for you to let go then." Sunstreaker says. Reflect does as he ask.

"m'sorry. you were really warm and the sparkling steals all my body heat so I get really cold." Reflect mumbles.

"no its okay. just don't want Ironhide to beat my ass." Sunstreaker mutters. Reflect waves his worry off gently.

"don't worry about that. he wouldn't touch you, he knows I get cold." Reflect murmurs, pushing himself up. he sits with a sigh. "thanks for letting me crash here guys." Reflect says.

"it was better than recharging in the damn rec room. anyone could've gotten to you there." Sideswipe assres.

"thanks again though." Reflect smiles. Sunstreaker helps him up off the berth. "thanks for that too." he murmurs, heading for the door. he waves at them, walking out of the room.

"I was coming to get you." Ironhide murmurs.

"I know." Reflect smiles, looking over at him. "what are you doing up? its late and you should be getting rest." Reflect murmurs.

"nope, I got enough rest. come on, lets get you a cube." Ironhide murmurs. Reflect nods a little, stumbling when the ground shakes.

"shit!" Reflect yelps, slamming against Ironhide. the bigger mech grunts, wrapping his arms around tightly, bracing himself against the wall. "whats going on?" Reflect ask, looking up at Ironhide.

"Decepticons." Ironhide hisses, holding him tightly. when he finally gets his balance, he shoves Reflect away gently. "get to the medbay now." Ironhide orders. Reflect stumbles a little.

"y-yeah I'll try." Reflect murmurs. he turns heading quickly towards the medbay, when the whole base shakes, rocking hard. he yelps hitting the ground, curling up immediately in a desperate attempt to protect the sparkling. there's a loud crash behind him and he rolls over to see the ceiling has collapsed.

"Will!" Ironhide shouts, looking at the collapsed ceiling.

"I'm okay! keep going! I'm gonna try to get to the medbay!" Reflect shouts.

be careful Will.

I will be. you do the same. don't focus on us, get yourself out there and defend the base. we'll be okay.

Reflect slowly gets up off the floor.

why are they here, what are they after, Hide?

Ravage. he's locked up in the brig. they're trying to get him back.

Reflect winces, stumbling against the wall and sliding back down to the floor. something is wrong, he can't get up. he winces a little, trying to push himself up using the wall.

are you okay? you're in pain.

I'm fine Hide, just, not as easy to get out of the floor by myself as it used to be.

do I need to come get you?

no. I'll manage. help the others.

Reflect frowns looking down. he presses a servo to his side, hissing. the wound Ratchet and Wheeljack had patched was open again and there was energon pooling under him on the floor.

"come on Reflect. come on. get up." he mumbles, trying to push himself up. "come on." Reflect murmurs, attempting to push himself up again. he's stuck though. he won't be able to get himself up off the floor, he'll need help. he can't just call Ironhide to come get him out of the floor! "come on you idiot, get up. get up. get up." Reflect mumbles, grunting. he sighs slightly dropping his head forward. he's effectively stuck.

"need help scum?" a voice asks, holding a servo out towards him. Reflect looks up shakily, a small grin breaks out on his face.

"Barricade?" Reflect asks hesitantly. "what are are you doing here?" Reflect murmurs. Barricade huffs and rolls his optics.

"yeah. I saw that idiot Ironhide without you and I went looking for you. I didn't want you in this mess, obviously neither did he. when I commed him, he said you were trying to get to the medbay. figured I'd help you, make sure you and the sparkling get there safely." he mutters, holding his servo out more. "come on, let me help you up before you bleed out on the floor. give me your servo, the faster we move the more likely you two make it." Barricade grumbles. Reflect lifts the servo not pressed to his seeping wound and lets Barricade pull him up. the carrying mech stumbles against Barricade, wincing. Barricade braces him carefully. "you alright?" Barricade ask. Reflect ignores him.

"aren't you going to get in trouble?" Reflect winces, leaning against him.

"I'll take death if it means you and that sparkling live." Barricade assures, throwing Reflects arm around his shoulders. "come on which way is the medbay?" Barricade ask.

"this way, but, this hallway is collapsed, some others might be as well." Reflect frowns. Barricade nods a little at him.

"thats alright, don't worry about that, I'll find a way around it. I can't believe your idiot bondmate left you to bleed out." Barricade growls.

"I didn't tell him I was hurt. told him I was fine so he'd get out there and fight you stupid Decepticons." Reflect mutters. he hisses, stumbling with a wince.

"you okay?" Barricade frowns.

"yeah. I will be. just gotta get to the medbay without being caught with you. the last thing I need is someone thinking you're attempting to kidnap me." Reflect mutters.

"I wouldn't hurt a sparkling." Barricade mutters.

"yeah your little promise isn't gonna stop half of the Bots on base. I mean, c'mon, you're hauling a bleeding, carrying, Prime down the hall of the Autobot base which is being attacked by your friends. half of them would kill you." Reflect mumbles.

"I could take anyone I needed or pass you off to them. I just want you out of the danger zone." Barricade mutters. Reflect winces, stumbling again.

"yeah, they don't care. I don't want you getting killed to help me." Reflect mumbles. Barricade comes to a stop.

"speaking of ones that would probably kill me." Barricade mutters looking up. Reflect follows his gaze. Sideswipe growls, weapon pointed at Barricades head.

"let him go." Sideswipe warns.

"I let him go and he's gonna fall." Barricade warns.

"I said, let go." Sideswipe snaps. Reflect shakes his head.

"Sides, don't shoot. he dug me out of the hallway, ceiling collapsed around me. if he lets me go, I'm gonna fall." Reflect murmurs, wincing.

"I wouldn't hurt him or the sparkling. I'm trying to get him to the medbay, he needs a medic." Barricade says. Reflect moves his servo so Sideswipe can see him bleeding.

"I suggest you get back to your Con friends." Sideswipe growls, lowering his gun. he walks over to Reflect quickly and takes his weight from Barricade easily.

"don't let Sunstreaker hurt him either. he helped me." Reflect murmurs.

"Sunny, come help me get him to the medbay, leave the con." Sideswipe says. Barricade is suddenly shoved away by the yellow twin.

"I'm bleeding pretty good." Reflect mutters, wincing. he moves his servo, but it doesn't matter, the energon is dripping everywhere by this point.

"okay come on, we don't have time to fuck around with the Con." Sunstreaker mutters. he turns to glare at him, but Barricades gone.

"leave him alone. I'm this close to getting him on the Autobots team. he was helping me. he saw the ceiling collapse on me. don't hurt 'im. he'll be a valuable addition to the team guys." Reflect murmurs. he winces stumbling a little.

"we won't hurt him for now." Sideswipe says.

"you okay?" Sunstreaker ask.

"m'dizzy." Reflect mumbles.

"we're almost to the medbay." Sideswipe assures gently. Reflect leans against them hard.

"hey hang in there. its okay." Sunstreaker murmurs.

"m'dizzy." Reflect mutters.

"I know, but hang on, we're almost to the medbay, you two will be fine." Sideswipe assures.

"m'gonna be sick." Reflect murmurs, trying to fight his gagging.

"just hold on." Sunstreaker murmurs.

"m'trying." Reflect mutters. there's a loud crash and Reflect yelps getting thrown back. he whimpers quietly, looking up. Starscreams got hold of the twins, one in each servo. "you let them go right now!" Reflect shouts, trying to get up.

technically they were older than him, but they were also younger. they were just a few years older than Bumblebee and Barricade. they were still kids! he couldn't let them die because of him.

Reflect struggles, attempting to get up.

"le-leave them alone!" Reflect growls. Starscream laughs.

"or what you pathetic Autobot?" Starscream growls. he slams the twins together hard and tosses them aside, before stomping towards Reflect. Sideswipe yelps when Sunstreaker lands on top of him. Reflect winces and scoots back away from the mech as fast as he can.

"get away from him!" Sideswipe growls, trying to shove his brother off. "Sunny get up! get off me!" Sideswipe grunts. Sunstreaker hisses, trying to get up.

"ge-get back." Reflect winces. "I'm warning you. leave us alone." Reflect glares, scooting back until he back is pressed against the hallway rubble. his distress signal is active, he knows it is. "Ironhide." Reflect yelps when Starscream grabs his legs and yanks him down, intent on punching his face. "IRONHIDE!" Reflect shouts, grabbing hold of Starscreams arm.

"you stupid Autobot!" Starscream growls.

"you leave my sparkling alone!" Reflect shouts. he struggles with the mech gripping his wrist as hard as he can, trying to shove him away from his face. Starscream swings his other arm, punching Reflect hard in the face. "IRONHIDE!!!" Reflect screams. the Con is crushing him and squeezing his throat, his struggling isn't even effecting the bigger mech.

"shut up you stupid Autobot. no one is coming for you." Starscream smirks. Reflect whines, head dropping back onto the ground.

"YOU GET OFF MY SPARKLING RIGHT NOW!" Wheeljack growls, tackling Starscream off Reflect hard.

"Jack." Reflect murmurs, sounding relieved. he lays on the ground, he doesn't have the energy to move, not even when his bondeds alt goes flying over him in a rage. "Hide." Reflect cheers quietly. Ironhide transforms and slams his fist hard into Starscreams side.

"you fuck with my bonded, you fuck with me!" Ironhide snaps, standing over Reflect protectively. Wheeljack growls, standing beside Ironhide. how dare Starscream attack Reflect.

"Sunstreaker, Sideswipe, get Reflect out of here and to the medbay now!" Wheeljack order. SIdeswipe finally manages to shove his brother off and winces, getting up.

"hang on Reflect." he murmurs.

"no." Reflect mutters. "do-don't move me. somethin's wrong." Reflect mumbles. Sideswipe runs over to him and kneels down.

"whats wrong?" he ask.

"possible spinal injury. can't move anything but my head." Reflect winces. "co-cool feeling... co-cool feeling down my ba-back. da-damage to my..." Reflect trails, whimpering. Sideswipe frowns, looking at him.

"Ratchet, Reflect says he can't move anything but his head. he's got a cool feeling down his back. he can't tell me whats wrong. is he safe to move?"

"DO NOT MOVE HIM! DON'T TOUCH HIM!"

"whats wrong?"

"leave him right there. if he's still online then the sparkling is still okay as well. if you move him you coud kill them both!"

"understood."

"lay still Ratchets coming. its gonna be alright. its gonna be okay Reflect." Sideswipe murmurs. Reflect looks over at him.

"t-talk... Ratchet..." Reflect manages. Sideswipe nods.

"yeah I did." he assures. Sunstreaker grunts, shoving Wheeljack away from Reflect and Sideswipe, back towards Ironhide and Starscream.

"don't step on them." Sunstreaker growls.

"I told you to get him out of here!" Wheeljack growls.

"Ratchet says if we move him it'll kill both of them." Sideswipe snaps.

"don't move him, just protect him." Ironhide says, struggling with Starscream.

"Starscream!" Optimus shouts, blasting the Decepticon with his blaster. Ratchet runs over to Sideswipe and Reflect, shoving Sunstreaker out of the way.

"Reflect, Reflect answer me." Ratchet says. Reflect looks over at him and whines softly.

"he's leaking energon really bad, I don't know if he can answer." Sideswipe murmurs. Ratchet nods at him.

"thats okay. I'll get you fixed up." Ratchet assures, patting his servo gently. "just relax. Jack I need something we gotta keep him straight and flat and we need to get him to the medbay right now." Ratchet orders.

"as soon as he gets off my chassie, I'll get right on it." Wheeljack grunts from under Starscreams ped. Ironhide roars, tackling Starscream off the inventor. Wheeljack scrambles up and runs off.

"s-s... sp-spark..." Reflect mumbles.

"sparkling? the sparklings fine just stay still." Ratchet assures. Reflect makes a noise of disagreement.

"n-no... sss.... sp-spa..." Reflect tries again. he feels like he's drowning, his chest is heavy, his body hurts. he whimpers. Ratchet looks confused.

"not sparkling? what could... spark? spark, somethings wrong with your spark. hold on." Ratchet murmurs, popping his chest plates open immediately.

"Primus, thats... I don't think that belongs there..." Sideswipe murmurs, looking at the energon pooling in Reflects spark chamber.

"no it doesn't." Ratchet murmurs. "hang tight Reflect, its not going to be comfortable but we're gonna have to do some field work on you." Ratchet says.

"k-kay..." Reflect mumbles. he stares over at Sideswipe, watching him.

"whats happening?" Sunstreaker ask.

"he's essentially drowning in his own spark chamber." Ratchet says, working as quickly as he can. Reflect watches him, until he looses consciousness.

he shifts slowly waking up, whimpering softly.

"take it easy. it's okay." Ratchet murmurs softly, laying a servo on his arm. Reflect onlines his optics looking over at him. Ratchet smiles at him taking his servo in his own, squeezing it gently. "just relax its alright." Ratchet says softly. Reflect winces, looking a little confused.

"Ratchet...?" Reflect mumbles, squeezing the servo holding his own weakly. Ratchet smiles at him a little, pulling his servo free gently

"hey kiddo. take it easy." Ratchet murmurs.

"what happen?" Reflect mumbles.

"we got attacked by Decepticons." Ratchet says.

"sparkling..?" Reflect mumbles.

"is just fine." Ratchet assures gently. "just lay here don't move okay? I gotta get to fixing everyone up now that you're stable." Ratchet ask.

"m'kay." Reflect murmurs. he looks around. bots are everywhere. every berth in the medbay is covered, bots are sitting on his work bench, leaning against walls, sitting on the floor. the medbay is covered. he jerks, looking down when someone touches him. Ironhides sitting at the foot of his berth, looking beat to hell. the servo not on Reflects leg is holding his middle, leaking energon here and there. he's missing a cannon and parts of his leg. his back is beat pretty badly and he's missing chunks of the arm resting on Reflect.

"s'just me." Ironhide assures. Reflect sighs a little, releasing the tension from his body.

"y'startled me." Reflect mumbles. Ironhide pats his leg gently.

"just relax Reflect." Ironhide murmurs gently. Reflect drops his head back onto the berth, looking around.

"did they get 'im?" Reflect ask.

"no Ravage is still in the brig, or whats left of the brig." Ironhide murmurs.

"humans?" Reflect mumbles.

"all humans are accounted for. no fatalities. all injured human personal has been sent off to a local hospital." Optimus assures, holding his chest. Reflect nods a little, looking the other Prime over. he's got some damage to his chest but he doesn't look too bad, thats probably how he ended up sitting on the floor not far from him and Ironhide.

"m'kay." he murmurs. he lifts a servo to hold his stomach, wincing. Ironhide rubs his leg gently.

"you okay?" Ironhide ask.

"just... checking." Reflect mutters. Ironhide shoots him a confused look. "just gotta check... I just have to make sure..." Reflect murmurs, trying to keep the emotion out of his voice. Ironhide leans over some, placing his servo over the one Reflects placed on his stomach. he squeezing Reflect servo gently, watching him.

checking for what Will?

m'just checking.

yeah, but what are you checking? its okay Will, the sparklings alright. what are you checking on?

the sparkling. just checking. gotta check... he was so close... I just...

the sparkling is okay. I promise. its alright, everytihng is okay.

I know... just gotta check.

Ironhide sits back and pats his leg gently,

"its okay don't worry." Ironhide murmurs gently. "its alright." Ironhide soothes. Reflect whines lowly, shifting on the berth.

"don't move too much Reflect.you're not in any condition to get up, but you're going to be okay." Ratchet assures. Wheeljack pats his head, walking by quickly.

"just stay there, let us get everyone patched up." Wheeljack assures gently.

"m'not goin' no where." Reflect mumbles.

"he's fine just focus on the others." Ironhide says.

"the twins?" Reflect mumbles.

"we're good, don't worry Reflect." Sideswipe assures. "barely made a scratch." he adds. Reflect looks over and frowns.

"are you... missing a leg...?" Reflect ask.

"its a scratch." Sideswipe assures. Reflect nods a little, wincing, holding the bump in his armor.

are you sure you're alright?

his claws were so close to the sparkling.

it won't happen again. he's offlined. being melted down like the scrap he is. its okay.

Reflect nods a little, Ironhide shifts on the berth and takes his servo again, gently. Reflect holds it tightly. Starscream could've killed the sparkling, could've killed another child. he could've lost another kid.

gonna be sick.

Ironhide pulls him up carefully.

"Ironhide don't do that-" Ratchet starts. Reflect interrupts him, purging on the berth, all over him and Ironhide with an awful retching sound.

"oh thats gross." Mudflap mutters.

"shut up its not like a fraggin did it on purpose." Reflect snaps, glaring at him. he gags, desperately attempting to push away the feeling in his tanks.

"its fine if you're going to purge do it." Ironhide murmurs. he purges again, further covering them and giving Ironhide an apologetic look. "don't worry about it Reflect its fine." Ironhide soothes gently. Reflect mumbles and lays back. Ironhide waves Ratchet off when the medic comes closer. "its fine, we're fine, just some purge." Ironhide assures gently.

"we're fine, don't worry about it." Reflect mumbles. he drops his head back onto the berth, drifting back into unconsciousness. he squeezes Ironhides servo hard.

don't let go Hide.

I won't Will. I promise. I'll hold on as long as I can, until Ratchet and Wheeljack start working on me.

okay.. thanks Hide... I love you.

Reflect grip slacks just slightly as he finally lets himself be dragged into unconsciousness.

when he comes to once more the medbay is silent. Ironhides behind him, he can feel it. Reflect knows that its Ironhides arm around his waist, he knows its the bigger mechs servo on their sparkling. he can hear several bots snoozing in the medbay and the sounds of Ratchet pacing back and forth. Reflect slowly sits up, pushing Ironhides arm off him. the bigger mech doesn't even seem to notice, snoring behind him.

"Ratchet...?" Reflect asks, looking over. Ratchet immediately turns to him.

"hey kid." Ratchet waves, turning away once more.

"you okay?" he ask. the medic nods. Reflect frowns at him a little when Ratchet shakes his head.

"too much on my mind to rest." Ratchet frowns. Reflect gets up slowly off the berth and walks towards the medic. Ratchet turns to face him. "what are you doing?" Ratchet frowns.

"walking it off. figured I'd pace with you." Reflect mutters.

"you need to lay down and rest." Ratchet frowns.

"no. I don't. whats on your mind?" Reflect ask. Ratchet shakes his head.

"nothing, go lay down." Ratchet says firmly.

"no, I'm not going to lay down. if I lay down, all I'm going to see is Starscream.. trying to kill me and threatening to rip the sparkling form me." Reflect mutters. "might as well do something useful." Reflect shrugs.

"you are useful. you alright?" Ratchet ask.

"almost lost the sparkling, its gonna give me nightmares for a good long while.." Reflect murmurs. Ratchet sighs a little.

"yeah. I know." he murmurs. Reflect watches him.

"but its not the sparkling you were worried about." he says. Ratchet shakes his head.

"had Sideswipe not commed me first, you and the sparkling would've been dead." Ratchet frowns.

"I tried to tell him not to move me." Reflect says.

"probably the biggest thing that saved you two." Ratchet murmurs. "you got lucky." he frowns.

"no, I've got a good teacher. if I hadn't been studying those datapads, I wouldn't have told him not to move me." Reflect murmurs. "hows everyone else?" he ask.

"everyone will live, nothing me and Jack couldn't fix up." Ratchet murmurs

"whats on your mind?" Reflect ask.

"you and the sparkling... the base is destroyed and you two almost died." Ratchet says.

"we're all okay, I'll deal with the bases destruction." Reflect assures. "I'm gonna go do a walk through of the damage and see what needs to be done." Reflect adds.

"Optimus' is in whats left of his office with Prowl, Jazz, and Cade. Prowl has the damage reports." Ratchet murmurs. Reflect nods, hugging the medic tightly for a moment.

"we're okay. you did it. you saved us and we're okay." Reflect murmurs gently. Ratchet stiffens a moment, but quickly wraps his arms around the other mech. he holds the younger mech tightly for a few moments, before stepping back.

"thanks." Ratchet mutters. Reflect gives him a half smile.

"don't thank me. you saved my sparkling, even if you were only doing it to save yours." Reflect murmurs, before walking off. he heads out of the medbay and down towards Optimus' office. what few Autobots not in the medbay, are attempting to clean up the mess, but several look relieved to see him walking around.

"Reflect, good to see you walking around." Drift smiles. Reflect waves at him.

"hey kid, glad you're alright." Hound nods once at him.

"Red'll be over joyed when he gets out of the medbay, to see you alive and okay... you and the sparkling." Inferno murmurs, patting Reflects shoulder. Reflect smiles at him.

"thanks guys." Reflect smiles.

"glad you two are alright." Sunstreaker mutters, looking at him.

"I am... thanks to you and Sideswipe." Reflect murmurs, walking over to him. he wraps his arms around the yellow twin. he stiffens, refusing to move. not many bots are brave enough to embrace the short tempered twin, then again Reflect is Ironhids bondmate. Reflect holds him only a moment, before letting go. "I saw Sides asleep in the medbay, so, make sure you give him a hug for me. I appreciate you guys." Reflect murmurs softly. he heads down the hallway, leaving Sunstreaker to stare after him.

Reflect knocks firmly on Optimus' door, walking in. his desk is the only thing to have survived.

"wow." Reflect mutters looking around.

"Reflect, glad to see you up. how are you and the sparkling?" Optimus ask.

"we're... we're good." Reflect says. "glad to see all of you still up and moving around. Cade, hows Tessa?" Reflect ask.

"safe, thankfully, she was in the hospital with me for my leg." Cade says, watching him. Reflect nods at him.

"oh, um, Ratchet said Prowl would probably have a complete report of the damages done to the base." Reflect says, looking at the third in command.

"we're working on it now. getting everyone to send in damage reports, sorting out copies. all the fun stuff." Prowl frowns. Reflect nods.

"alright well, when you're all done, I want the reports, the damages. I want it all. I'm going to take care of getting everything fixed up faster than the ceiling was fix." Reflect says.

"we can handle-" Jazz starts.

"thats an order. thank you. I will expect them by tomorrow morning." Reflect says firmly, nodding once at Jazz. the second in command frowns, glancing at Optimus. the red and blue mech chuckles.

"well?" Optimus ask.

"understood sir." Jazz nods. Prowl nods immediately.

"they may not be done tomorrow morning, there is a lot of damage but you'll have them by end of day at least." Prowl assures. Reflect nods.

"thank you." Reflect smiles. he pauses and turns back around. "and, if possible, a list of all the humans who were injured, I'll have to get Epps to get their medical bills handled." Reflect says.

"consider it done." Prowl assures. Reflect smiles and heads out of the room. he heads back to the medbay.

where'd you get off to?

Primes office. needed to make sure I get everything I need to fix up the base and make sure all humans on base are taken care of.

we're good. you?

in one piece. all I can ask for.

Reflect chuckles softly, heading for the medbay. he carefully avoids the majority of the debris, safely getting back to the medbay.

"there you are." Wheeljack murmurs, hugging him tightly the moment he enters.
