Note.10
Sinful Bliss.
•February
Bryce closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Today was the first day of February and if he was honest he was thankful for it. Hopefully there would be no more snow days from here on out. He held his books close to him as he thought of yesterday when Ryan had told him he was afraid to lose him, of all people him!
"Hey man stop standing there and let's go!" Smitty yelled as he tackle-wrapped an arm around him with a big grin on his face. Bryce just smiled as he started to walk in sync with his friend, the two men chatting away. "So how did that talk go yesterday with mister Ohm?" Smitty asked, keeping his arm around the blondes neck. Bryce went into thinking as he tried to think of something to say to the other, "Um, it was good. He just wanted to tell me my grades.." Smitty couldn't help but eye the blonde.
Over the small amount of time the two have been friends he's already realized a lot, like the fact that Bryce wasn't well under pressure. So Smitty had found himself using this to his advantage a lot and Bryce couldn't help but hate it. Bryce was dripping with cold sweat but he did nothing but keep a straight face in hopes of making his story worth believing. The other male smiled, "Oh okay, I thought it was important since his face seemed a bit off. Buttt maybe I'm just going crazy." The blonde silently sighed as they made their way down the sidewalk to the college.
"You excited for Ritz's class?"
Bryce shuttered at that name and he wished he didn't because Smitty stopped him dead in his tracks. "Why did you do that?" His question barley reached the blondes ears but once it did Bryce tried to avoid eye contact with Smitty. "I just don't like that class.." He whispered as he began to chew on his bottom lip. The older male crossed his arms and furrowed his brow, "There's something you're not telling me.." Bryce sighed and dropped his arms in response. "Can I trust you with this?"
"Well yeah Bryce. I'm your friend so."
Bryce looked around and leaned in which caused the taller male to lean with him until the smallers hand hit his jaw line. When the blonde told him about what happened with Ritz he immediately backed up with wide eyes, "No way." "Yes way." Smitty ran a hand through his locks as he tried to process everything. "Okay well did you ask for a new teacher?" Bryce shook his head and Smitty nearly screamed. "Bryce! You need to do that! Obviously he failed you for just that reason!"
Bryce just shrugged. "Why? I mean it's not like I'm going to do it anyways." Smitty ran his hand through his hair again but this time it was harsh and he nearly tore some brown locks out. His hands found their way to the smaller boys shoulders and they gripped him tightly, "Bryce," his voice shook. "Please get a new teacher. If I have too I will go with you and we both can." The blonde just stared into his brown eyes and they just sat there for a moment as if in a daze. It began to become very awkward.
"Okay," Bryce sighed out as he dropped his gaze in defeat. "We can tomorrow."
Smitty smiled at his friend and thanked whatever was out there for this. "Let's go before we're late." He lightly punched his arm and Bryce nodded.

Bryce watched as Ryan made his way to the board and began to write something down. He didn't even bother with his notes since he had the male after anyways, plus he knew if he asked Ryan would copy them for him. Of course he would any student really.
If Bryce was honest, he no longer felt special. He felt Ryan had many favorites and he also felt Ryan was losing interest in the blonde. This broke his heart and being in his class was making it worse on him if he was to tell you the truth. When Ryan turned around their gazes locked, but only for a second because Bryce looked away.
It was a sign of defeat.
The blonde had gave up on trying to get Wrecker long ago. He came to college to move on and get a new job but his past had found him once again. He turned on his phone and looked at his wallpaper which was the photo of Ryan and him back when they first took one. He rubbed his screen with his thumb.
You could say he never moved on.
Bryce found that the male in front of him was an important piece of memory and he honestly didn't want to let go but the problems with that was these devilish thoughts that lingered. Prom night and that damn sticky note. The bell rang and everyone began to leave but Bryce, who was still in a daze.
Bryce jumped when Ryan snapped his fingers. "You okay? I asked if you were ready like five times and you just stared." The concern look on his professors face pained him just a little. "Yeah, just tired. That's all." The student shrugged as he sighed deeply and stared up at the hazel eyed male. "We can do this tomorrow Bryce. I—" "Can I ask you something?"
Ryan blinked a couple of times as he looked at the blonde in the desk before him. He knew that look very well; Bryce was in pain. "Yeah." Bryce took a deep breath, "Do you still have feelings for me?" It went silent as Ryan froze in his spot. Was Bryce really this blind? "Bryce of course I do but—" "But what? You moved on? I mean I see a lot of students walking in and out-more than Ritz actually. I—"
"What? Bryce those are just students who need help!"
"Don't lie to me Ryan! I—"
"Bryce! I'm your professor and you're my student! STUDENT Bryce!"
"So that's it..? That means we can't be?"
Ryan ran a hand through his brown hair as anger flowed through his body. While Bryce went on he groaned and grabbed the blonde (who was crying) and locked him in a kiss.
