Note.05
Try It.
Bryce woke up in the middle of the cold night to the sound of screaming from his next door neighbor. He groaned and rolled over as the sound of glass breaking echoed against the wall which thud with each hit. Bryce pulled himself to the edge of bed and pulled the covers off him, his feet colliding with the cold wooden floor.
A cold air passed him and he immediately shivered at it. His hair began to stand on end as he pulled himself up and more cold air hit him. The heater he had bought made a sound as it just came on and let its heat begin to fill the frosted room. Bryce looke to the clock and seen it was just six in the morning.
As Bryce made his way to the dresser and grabbed a long sleeved red sweater a scream tore through the walls and he jumped a little. He turned and glared at the wall as he pulled down his shirt.
"Get out of my life Ricky!"
The woman's yell was so loud that Bryce could've sworn his ears began to bleed. He got dressed and grabbed his phone so he could head down to the café and get something to eat. Bryce walked out of his room and sighed loudly as he heard another bang echo through the room he was passing.
Bryce walked down and seen Columbia standing near the door talking to someone which caused him to ease his walk and get a better look at who it was. The man she was talking too wasn't younger than her but older and when he grabbed her wrist Bryce sprung to action and stopped beside her with a forced smile. "Hey Columbia," he greeted, ignoring the man who held her wrist. "You okay?" Now his blue eyes darted to the boy who held her wrist firmly. Columbia didn't say anything as she stopped struggling against the man.
"Get lost kid, she has nothing to do with you." The man nearly growled. Bryce immediately took this to offense and furrowed his brow. "Um, kid? Really? Columbia do you need a ride?" Bryce turned to the girl who chewed on her bottom lip like it was candy. "Who the fuck is he Columbia? Another boy you're f-" "I'm her brother actually and I want to know why you're talking to her like that."
All went silent.
"I'll be seeing you Columbia." The man let her go and began to make his way down the street which caused Bryce to immediately look back at the woman who held herself as if she was cold. "Thanks Bryce.." She whispered, looking to the snowy ground. "No problem, you probably need to get back inside." The girl nodded and began to leave.

Bryce munched on his pancakes and he sipped his drink as he messaged his friend, Evan, about his wedding up coming with Sydney. In his opinion Evan was doing the wrong thing but if that was what he wanted then he wasn't going to judge him for it. Then there was Jonathan who was still very in love with Vanoss. What was he to do?
Bryce heard the bell ring and looked up from his phone to see Ryan walking in with his hands in his pockets and his eyes glancing around the room. The younger male tried to hide himself but once he seen a hand on his table he knew he had failed and was forced to look up at his teacher. "Heyyy Bryce," Ryan greeted with a grin. Bryce returned the smile and looked back down to his phone where a message had popped up from Evan. The same waitress came to them and took their order except something was different.
She was flirting with Ryan.
Bryce had clenched his jaw and held his phone tightly between his hands and just tried not to smart off to either one. He wanted to get up and leave. All it took was one glance and Ryan knew exactly what was going on with Bryce and he was still trying to get the girl to go on somewhere but she wasn't having it.
When she finally did leave Bryce relaxed and Ryan had frowned deeply at him. They stayed silent until the food came and when the woman winked at him from afar Bryce rolled his eyes and crossed his eyes. The woman had been watching him since she brought him that food. Ryan smirked as he picked up his fork and cup a piece of his pancake and leaned forward causing Bryce to raise a brow.
"Try it."
Those words had made Bryce's eyes go wide and he immediately looked embarrassed at the olders suggestion. "Ryan a-are you crazy?" He nearly choked on his own words as he looked away. "Come on," Ryan whispered. "You want her to stop right?" Bryce couldn't help but look at the girl who was staring over at them mockingly.
Bryce didn't know what snapped into him but he leaned over and took that pancake off the fork slowly and Ryan was honest he enjoyed the sight but Bryce had sat back and crossed his arms as he stared at the teacher who was wide eyed. He couldn't tell if it was amusement but whatever it was made him smirk and Ryan immediately looked away.
When they finished the woman came over said something then left. It was as if she had never even talked to Ryan before. Ryan cleared his throat and stood to his feet as he fixed his shirt and pulled in his seat. Bryce had done the same and both men walked outside into the snow. "Bryce I'll be seeing you in class right?" Ryan asked, hazel eyes staring down at Bryce. Bryce smiled up at Ryan, "Yeah of course."
The wind howled and pushed a breeze across the two causing Bryce to shiver under it and stuff his hands in his pockets. Ryan smiled at Bryce.
