THE MORNING was cold, the snow fell by the window, but Y/N was nice and warm in her husband's arms.

slowly, Draco woke up, a smile making its way to his face seeing his wife sound asleep on his chest. he leaned down, and kissed the top of her head, making her shift awake.

Y/N smiled at the blonde, and stared into his dazzling silver eyes, "Good morning," she said, "And happy Christmas."

"Happy Christmas, to you, too," Draco said, and was supposed to lean down to kiss his wife's lips when their bedroom door opened wide, showing two four year olds running towards them.

"Mum, dad, it's Christmas!" they said in unison.

chuckling lightly, Y/N Malfoy sat up, and enveloped her kids in a tight hug, "Happy Christmas, my loves," she said.

both Jeanette, and Scorpius kissed her cheeks, making Draco frown, "No Christmas kisses for me?" he asked, making the kids laugh, and tackle him in a huge hug.

Y/N smiles at the scene, she couldn't believe that after years, they would be here right now, being one happy family. they've had a good share of arguments, but nothing big, and even if they had one, they've learnt there lesson to just talk about it instead of doing reckless things- such as drowning themselves, and 'sleeping' with other girls.

of course, Y/N didn't like what he did, but he didn't actually did it, and everyone makes mistakes, it's just one's decision to forgive or not, and the woman decided to just live with the life she has now. she never wants to think about what would have happened if she never forgave Draco- she loves the life she has now, and she will never want to exchange it with anything

Jeanette jumped into her mother's arms, while Scorpius stayed with his father. the twins pretty much looked like each other- besides the fact that Scorpius had platinum blonde hair just like his father's, and Jeanette had her mother's.

and personality wise, Scoprius had Y/N's attitude more, and Jeanette had Draco's.

the twins are inseparable! they like being together always, they do a lot of things together. and Scorpius- being the older twin by literally a few minutes- is very protective of Jeanette, which Y/N thinks is very sweet. 

Jeanette would get a scratch from running around so much, so Scorpius would get a plaster, and even though he doesn't know how to put it on properly, he still tries. and afterwards, he would hug her sister, and tells her that it's alright.

"Presents?" asked Jeanette.

both Draco and Y/N chuckled, nevertheless, they just stood up, and let their kids lead them downstairs, and towards the living room.

the next thing they knew, gift wrappers were all around the place, and happiness was everywhere- you could really feel the Christmas spirit.

Y/N left for a moment, and made two cups of hot cocoa, and afterwards, she came back, and saw that there was one gift left- since the couple let their kids open theirs.

"Why haven't you opened them all?" she asked the kids as she gave one cup to Draco. she sat down beside her husband, and gave the the twins a questioning look, but they just giggled.

"This is for the both of you," said Jeanette, and gave the small box to to her parents.

Draco furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, but accepted the box, "From the two of you?" he asked.

Scorpius nodded, "We wanted to thank the two of you for being the best parents in the world!" he said.

Y/N smiled at the twins in awe- she was so lucky to have them, "You didn't have to- the two of you are the greatest gifts we could've gotten."

the two of them smiled, and gestured towards the gift. the couple looked at eachother and smiled. slowly, they unwrapped the gift wrapper, and opened the box- inside, there was a picture frame with a drawing of the four of them in it.

of course, it wasn't the best drawing, seeing as the kids were still four- but it didn't stop Y/N from tearing up. and on top, 'best mum and dad ever' was written.

Draco smiled at the twins, and enveloped them in a hug, "And you're the best kids we could ever ask for," he said, and tickled them, making them laugh.

when they finally got out of Draco's grasp, they hugged their mother, and once again kissed her on the cheeks, "Thank you, my loves," she said.

soon, they ate their Christmas breakfast, and got ready for the day.

the whole day consisted of their grandparents coming over- Lucius and Narcissa moved out of the Malfoy manor and gave it to the couple as a gift, since they thought it was nice to continue the tradition of all Malfoys growing up under the roof of the manor.

everyone was happy, and they could really feel the Christmas spirit.

the twins payed with their grandparents a lot, and made them laugh with their silly innocent jokes, and it was just a good Christmas.

but all good things must come to an end. by the time the sun has already set, Narcissa Malfoy and Lucius Malfoy, along with Harriot Eve and Ophelia Eve left the manor with smiles on their faces- but of course they didn't leave before telling the twins they would come back. 

when they left, Y/N cleaned the kids up, and tucked them in bed, giving them kisses, and a last 'Happy Christmas' for the year.

finally, she herself had cleaned up, and got ready for bed, and when she went out of the bathroom, she saw Draco putting on his jumper over his pajamas, "Put on something warm, I'm going to show you something," he said, and smiled lovingly.

the woman furrowed her eyebrows, "It's late, we can't go out," she laughed, but nevertheless, grabbed one of Draco's sweaters, and put it on.

Draco chuckled, and took his wife's hand, "We're not going out."

the blonde pulled Y/N out of their room, and up the attic. the woman was confused, but followed anyways.

when he opened the door, Y/N's eyes widen.

in the middle of the room was a tent with golden lights around it- like the ones from when they were younger, fireflies, but not really.

"Godric, I feel like I just traveled back in time," the woman said, a soft laugh slipping out of her lips.

Draco chuckled, and guided her towards the tent, where you can see the window clearly. it was nostalgic, the view never changed ever since they went up here that new year- it was still the same.

"I figured, why not bring back some amazing memories?" said Draco, as he pulled out his old satchel from a corner- it was full of their pictures from all through out their years together after school.

Y/N smiled, and pulled out a picture, it was from when they got married, her face showed so much happiness while she was looking into Draco's eyes- and just like any other magical pictures, it moved.

the blonde held her by the waist, and kissed her deeply as the people cheered for them.

then another moving picture, at st. Mungo's, she held Scorpius in her arms, as Draco held Jeanette. it was taken just a few hours after she gave birth, she has never felt happier.

and the other pictures were just the two of them, living the moment, or it was the four of them, running around the garden.

time seemed to pass by so fast, they didn't even notice they've already looked at everything. but at the bottom of the satchel, there was a small piece of parchment.

Y/N took it, "What's this?" she asked Draco.

"Hm?" asked the blonde, and looked up from a picture he's looking at, then he noticed what it was, making his eyes go wide, "Maybe don't open that-"

but it was too late, Y/N has opened it, and read the contents, and when she has, she laughed, "Y/N Malfoy- love, why?" she asked between laughs.

Draco rolled his eyes and took the parchment- it was about twelve years old if he wasn't mistaken, "I don't have an explanation, I have no idea why I did it," he said, making the woman chuckle.

"Oh, you love me," said Y/N, giving the blonde a kiss on the lips.

he playfully rolled his eyes and nodded, "Of course I do, I love you very much- that's why I married you, right?"

Y/N just chuckled, and said, "I love you, Draco Malfoy."

"And I to you, Y/N Malfoy."

and with that, they sealed the night with a kiss.

this is where their story ends- of course we all know it's just the beginning, and there are still a lot of things to learn in life.

but both Y/N and Draco will go through it together, and they won't ever let go, not anymore.

who knew they'd end up together? I think we all did.

and it all started with a bet.
