ANOTHER WEEK has passed, and both Y/N and Draco still haven't talked

They honestly don't know why they're ignoring each other. There wasn't a reason to. They were just being cowards, and not talking about what should be talked about.

Their feelings

Because obviously, none of it are fake. Even though how many times they deny it, it was for sure that they liked each other

It was obvious.

And Y/N couldn't help but think about it as she sits in Potions. She was sitting with Draco, because that's where her usual seat is

But they don't talk, even though it was obvious the blonde wanted to start a conversation.

The past two weeks, when they brew a potion, they would do it quietly, and they'll only speak if they had to, or well, Y/N

Draco tried to start conversations, but it always ends up them being awkward, so he's just waiting for the right time.

Finally, after what seemed like a century, class was over, and students started to pack their stuff away

And before Draco could even put his books in his bag, Y/N already left the classroom

Sighing, the blonde slinged on his satchel, and was supposed to walk out of the door, when the professor called him

"yes, professor?", he asked once he was at Snape's desk

The intimidating teacher rose an eyebrow, "what happened to Y/N? Sure, she's not failing anymore, but i know something happened. And it's about you"

"nothing happened, professor.", the blonde lightly smiled, "maybe she's just tired, or something"

Snape sighed, "tired for the entire week?", he asked, "look, Malfoy, i don't know what you did, but you have to fix it."

Draco furrowed his eyebrows, "i didn't do anything, professor"

"are you certain?"

At that, the blonde went speechless. It was true, if he didn't try to kiss her, maybe if he didn't do that, maybe the both of them are still friends

If you can even call them that

Clearing his throat, Draco said, "it's just awkward between us, is all"

Snape's lips curled up a little, "got into a lover's quarrel, i see?"

"we're not-", the blonde stopped, he didn't know if the professor knew, so he decided to say, "just a little misunderstanding"

At that, the black haired man nodded, "well then, i suggest you fix that before tommorow, Malfoy. She's a nice girl, and i'd rather you have her, than Zabini."

The blonde nodded, a smile creeping up his face. The professor was almost like a father to the girl, so did he just get permission?

But still, that didn't change the fact that he still needed to talk to her.

Sighing one last time, Draco said, "i'll try to fix the problem, professor"

Snape shook his head, and intimidatingly looked at the blonde man

"don't try, do it."

Classes were done for the day, and Y/N sat by the tree by the Black Lake, a book in hand

This was one of her favorite places in Hogwarts

The calming smell of the water, and the crunching leaves, the trees, it was very calming.

Y/N smiled as she looked up to look at the view. It was getting a little dark, so she decided to get up, and dust off her school skirt

Once done, she slinged on her bag, and walked back to the castle. By this time, people were already in their common rooms, or dorms, so the corridors were empty

Y/N walked through the hallways, the sun going down can be seen through the huge windows

The orange colors of the sun hitting her, i think the muggke calls it 'golden hour', if i'm not mistaken?

Turning to a corner, the girl continued to walk, and she stopped when she saw a figure walking opposite of her

Her eyes slightly widen, it was Draco Malfoy, and he looked like he was looking for something

Or someone.

"Y/N", he said, then walking towards the Gryffindor

She was just supposed to walk past him, but Draco grabbed her wrist gently, but not too lose for her to escape

The girl faced the blonde, "uh, hey, what do you need?", she asked awkwardly

Draco sighed, "look, i wanted to say i'm sorry for almost.. Kissing you.", he said, ignoring Y/N's words, "i just can't take it anymore"

Furrowing her eyebrows, Y/N asked, "can't take what?"

Being honest, if he told her he cant take her anymore, she'll break. Even if they havent talked in two weeks, she was still attached to the man

And losing him would really hurt

"i can't take fake dating anymore"

Y/N felt her heart drop. This was it. Of course, she'll be hurt again. And worst of all, she got hurt by the bestfriend of the man who hurt her before

"w-what? Draco, i'm sorry for ignoring you, i just didn't-"

"i want to date. For real", he said, making the girl freeze in place, "i want to be boyfriend and girlfriend. I know it sounds really cheesy, but dont pretend you dont want it too, Y/N"

The girl's eyes widen, "what are you saying..?"

"bloody hell, Y/N", Draco groaned, "i like you. A lot"

If earlier, Y/N's heart dropped, now, it felt as if it's jumping out of happiness, "really?"

The blonde nodded eagerly, "really.", he said, looking into the girl's eyes, "but i need to know if you feel the same"

Y/N smiled lightly, and went on her toes, putting her arms around his neck. Their noses touched, "i like you too"

And with that, the girl closed the gap

This time, without hesitation. The kiss that was supposed to happen, now has happened.

Both the Gryffindor and Slytherin teenagers walked to the Gryffindor common room, hands intertwined with each other

Stopping by the painting, the fat lady rose her eyebrow at the blonde man, but the teenagers didn't care

Y/N faced Draco, her face slightly red, "thanks for walking me"

The blonde smiled and pecked her cheeks, "it was not problem"

Facing the painting, the girl muttered the password, and the painting swang open. Y/N faced Draco, "uh, bye.", she smiled awkwardly

Draco thought it was really cute, "goodbye, darling."

Y/N's heart skipped a beat at the nickname, and a blush crept up her cheek

Waving one last time, the girl entered the common room, a smile on her face

It happened. Who knew they would end up where they are?

Surely, they didnt expect this.
