~Amethyst's POV~

Out on another mission with Garnet as usual. I volunteered to go this time instead of being forced to go. Which Pearl would do trying to ruin my fun. "So what are we looking for again?" I ask Garnet the tall strong fusion standing completely still in the ancient ruins we're in. "We're looking for an ancient gem artifact which was supposedly guarded back then by the most elite gem guards." Garnet replies continuing on down the rubble filled path. This land back then was a landing zone a while back. "Well this place is empty and abandoned now. Besides even if we find what we're looking for something is gonna happen. Something always happens its just common sense."

Sometimes Pearl says I have no common sense but I don't really listen. At times she just goes overboard with things. Anyway this place we're in right now is crazy old and broken down. I couldn't imagine what it was like back then because... You know. My past was sorta scrappy and stuff but I prefer not to tell the story again and just move on. I then walk along side Garnet and trip over a large rock. Nothing special about it... Just a regular rock that I tripped over. I stand back up and brush myself off actually spitting up a rock itself. "I swallowed a rock." I say goofily as usual just trying to lighten the mood.

Sometimes I wonder what it would've been like if I wasn't even brought here onto the planet Earth. Would it be better? Or maybe even worse? I usually don't think about these kinds of things because they annoy me but it's actually hard to avoid them when there's nothing else to talk about.
