Medea Munro isn't a negative person!

Seriously — she's a lover, not a fighter. ( Well, that part might not be so true. ) But she does love: she loves the flowers that blossom in her garden, she loves listening to muggle records, she loves her best friend, she loves studying the night sky that looms above her head. Her adoration for the world stretches beyond the imaginable, seeing the good in every dark corner or bad feeling conceivable. She's an optimist in every sense and will never stop searching for every cloud's silver lining. It's what keeps life bearable, in her opinion.

  Although, she hates plenty too! She hates the feeling of wet sand sticking to her after she's been in the sea, she hates doing her Arithmancy homework, she hates the entitled tory boys at her school and she especially hates her next door neighbour: Marlene McKinnon. ( Probably not as much as the tory boys, but she would never give them the satisfaction. )

  Marlene bloody McKinnon has been the antonym for the girl next door since before either of them could walk — living proof that there is always more than one way to be a nuisance. Medea has never been able to escape her: they've always went to the same nurseries, primary schools and even now they're both enrolled at Hogwarts, which is the explosive product of their fathers being best mates since the dawn of time apparently!

Medea is only here to look gorgeous and have a good time, but how is she supposed to achieve her glamorous dreams when that slag next door is insistent on ruining her fun? No matter what Marlene says or however she may mock her, Medea will always dream of fame, of meeting celebrities muggle and magical alike — from Celestina Warbeck to Twiggy herself! Medea believes that if you aren't dreaming big, you shouldn't dream at all.

  Okay, maybe she's just being dramatic now.
