Hello everyone, HAPPY UPDATE!

**Astrid's POV**

Sunlight filtered through the tunnel, shining through my eyelids. I blinked them open.

"Hiccup?" I asked looking across the frost covered ground.

"Um, Astrid?" I heard him reply, "Look around."

I raised my gaze to look around the den.

"This isn't a fox den," Hiccup said worriedly.

"Whispering Death tunnels," I breathed. A tunnel, at least eight feet in diameter, stretched out from where we were standing. Multiple other tunnels branched off from it. "Do you know what this means!?"

"It's come back for Toothless," Hiccup said staring around. I slowly walked towards Hiccup and he wrapped his arm around me. Suddenly, a thump sounded behind us. We whipped around.

"Mmaaaaaa!"

A lump of wool was at the end of one of the tunnels. The sheep stood up, gave one look at the root it had just tripped over, and hopped out of the tunnel. It dashed away in the opposite direction.

"We need to figure out how to get out of here, before we meet that dragon," Hiccup said, glancing around.

As if on que, a loud rumbling echoed through the tunnel. Hiccup grabbed me and shoved me into one of the smaller tunnels. He leapt in after me, and not a moment to late. For a second later, a long, red, snakelike dragon came zooming past.

After it left, darting down a tunnel on the opposite side, Hiccup sighed in relief.

"It's a different one," He said.

"What?"

"It's just a wild Whispering Death, not the one that came for Toothless."

"And that's a good thing!?" I asked. "How do you know it's a different one?"

"It's a different color, for one, and also it didn't have the Night Fury tooth mark scar like the other one," He explained.

"Oh, why do you think it's here?"

"Probably looking for a mate. Either way, we either need to tame it, or chase it off the island."

"Okay, but first, we need to GET OUT OF HERE!" I yelled. These tunnels were creeping me out.

"Okay, and then find Toothless." Hiccup said.

I whistled for Stormfly as Hiccup led us to one of the vertical tunnels that led out. I looked up and saw my Deadly Nadder. She squawked.

"It's okay, girl!" I called, "Just get us out if here!"

She squawked again and perched on the rim.

"Come on, you've got to come down here in order to get us!"

The dragon flapped her wings nervously.

"She knows that it isn't her territory," Hiccup whispered.

"Stormfly, come!" I commanded.

The dragon immediately swooped down.

"Good girl!" I praised, scratching her chin. Hiccup and I climbed on, "Stormfly, up!"

My dragon shot out of the tunnels, chattering in relief.

As soon as we reached the open air, Hiccup began to call out, "Toothless!" After a couple of minutes of calling out, Hiccup realized we were heading towards the village. "Hey, why aren't we going to look for Toothless?"

"Hiccup, you're chief, your village is worried about you! Lets let them know you still exist before we go look for Toothless. Maybe we can get the gang to help us with our search."

I heard Hiccup mumble in agreement.

**Star's POV**

It was a good thing the cove wasn't too far away. Toothless was swaying by the time we reached the cliff.

"Do you think you can make it down there?" I asked, worried by his state of wellness.

"Yeah, sure..."

"Toothless, you're missing a tail fin, and your staggering from your injury! C'mon, we're going the easy way down," I turned around and headed for the secret cave entrance.

"This is the easy way down!" He protested.

"No, it's the faster way, now, come!"

**Hiccup's POV**

After we told the village I was alive, Astrid and I quickly flew to the academy to gather the gang.

"So, what are we doing, exactly?" Snotlout asked as they all tacked up their dragons.

"We're going around the island to look for Toothless. If we can't find him, we'll have to leave to go search for him. Who knows, maybe Drago got a hold of him again..."

The gang gasped, we could remember too clearly what had happened a few weeks back when Drago came.

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that," Astrid reassured me.

"Yeah, okay. Come on, guys! Hurry up!" I scolded them as they leisurely climbed onto their dragons.

"I'm up, I'm up!" Fishlegs called. Soon, the rest followed suit.

"Alright, let's go," I climbed up Stormfly and Astrid gave her the command to go. Once we were all in the air, we flew to the forrest.

We lighted down next to a large rock near the cove.

"Okay, Snotlout, Fishlegs, go to the East end of the island and then scan back here. Ruff, Tuff, go to the West and Scan back here, Astrid and I will scan from the South."

A scan was something Hiccup had taught the gang. You start in one place, and then fly in ever closing lines to a given point.

"Uh, what about the north?" Tuff asked dumbly.

Hiccup facepalmed. "Tuffnut, that's where the village is."

Astrid sighed.

"Okay, everyone, meet you back here when we're done." The gang lifted up, and began flying in their designated directions.

Okky Dokky! That's another chapter done! I'll probably update in two weeks. Sorry, It'll be a bit long, but I've got another fanfic to update.
