Dear Diary,

     Makeup. Why do we wear it? It's just a mask used to highlight our features. It makes us look artificial and embellished. I don't see why people find it so flattering.

     I think that the star of makeup's planets are based on each kind of makeup. Some wear a certain kind more than others, and that makes the planet closer to the star. For instance, some people wear more eyeliner than foundation, and others prefer lipstick to mascara.

This is one of the few stars that doesn't make sense to me. Makeup in itself doesn't make sense to me. Why are we putting this waxy stuff on our faces to make us look prettier? What happened to natural beauty?

It's a little-known fact that bat poop is found in most mascaras. There are many things about makeup that we don't know. For instance, beetles are in lipsticks. It's gross! Imagine what that is doing to your skin! I don't know if those facts are becoming planets in the star of makeup or the star of science, but either way, it's still gross.

I just had to get that out. Thanks for listening again. You're the only company I've got. Sorry if these sound depressing, but that's sort of how my life is now.
