Dear diary,

Hello. My name is Emma Cattry. I have a disease called histrionic personality disorder. This means that I think differently than everybody else.

My story is a complicated one, and difficult to understand. So we'll start from the beginning.

I see everyone's life as a galaxy. Each aspect of life is a star in the galaxy. Each solar system has one star with a certain aspect inside of it, and the planets contain every thought and memory had about that aspect. Some stars shine brighter than others. But that's okay, because everyone is different.

I haven't told anyone about this, since I don't know how they will react. After all, their stars of priority are different than mine. But I'm thinking of telling my dad and sister soon.

My mom left when I was seven, when I started showing symptoms of the disease. People don't usually develop the disease until teenage years or adulthood, but I guess I'm a special galaxy. She lived with my sister Abigail for nine years since she's 2 years older than me, and she was happy with both of us until I developed the disorder. Then she just left, without even saying goodbye.

My dad and Abi only know about the histrionic personality disorder, they don't know about how I think. But soon they will. Soon I will tell them everything they need to know about the stars of my mind.
