002
"You are so not planning to go along with the challenge Kate," Emily stated, knowing her statement was completely false and Kate was planning to get into trouble again. Kate walked by, jumped onto the couch next to her, and leant behind it, looking for her bow.
"Sorry not sorry Em, but I am," Kate said, stole some of Emily's food and got off her couch. "If I find my bow." Kate continued, crossing her arms, looking directly at Emily.
"I didn't do anything Bishop, and they're just stupid," Emily still wondered how on Earth (they could be aliens but whatever) some of Kate's friends believed that she wasn't super good at archery. Kate may have almost killed Emily once (no hard feelings) but she'd gotten way better than how she was at it as a fifteen-year-old.
Kate leant over Emily, her leg stabbing into Emily's stomach and checked behind the bed. "I hope you fall," Emily whispered into her friend's year. "This is super uncomfortable. Get off!" She shouted as Kate fell onto the floor, covering her ears, her bow on her stomach. She grabbed it and walked towards the door. "I'm not giving the pasta if you get in trouble!"
"Screw you. I never get in trouble," Kate shouted back. "Smart is my middle name."
"Who's the one who proposed the first time they got drunk," Emily screamed back, "that sounds very smart right?" She picked up her book, chucking it in Kate's direction.
"Trying to get an aim like me are you Parker," Kate grinned, catching the book with her left hand. Emily crossed her arms. "I'm gonna be fine Parker, always am." Emily rolled her eyes. "Besides, you accepted."

"I knew it!" Emily screamed into the phone. "And I can't believe that the only thing your mother did is cancel your credit card and give you a lecture." Kate had obviously destroyed a church with an arrow. An arrow.
"She's got a fiance and you're coming to the most annoying party in all time. We'll be going shopping for you. No questions." Kate responded back, not giving any time to process.
"He could be nice," Emily muttered weakly, but continued her tirade, flicking her blue hair away from her face, "and I'm never coming to a party, never ever. And I'm not paying for some random dress I'm never wearing again."
"Well that's sad cause you are," Kate replied and cut the phone before Emily could say anything else. "Rude," Emily said and scrunched up her face. She walked towards the coffee shop. She couldn't get late. She'd been late to way too many of her jobs. A very good thing for her. Very nice. MJ worked at the cafe too, and Emily had been trying to get the same shift since then since they didn't talk much. Mostly because the Blip left them like four years younger than her and they had way too much difference in the amount of time they had to hang out.
"Hey" Emily waved her hand, guess who's late." MJ smiled and rolled her eyes. "Couldn't be me." The cafe was usually empty around noon, but Emily liked it that way. It was way more peaceful, and it got time to think (which was, in retrospect, very dangerous) She would go swimming, but given that it was December and was literally snowing, she'd sit at home. Maybe draw. Plant. Yeah, that was it.
A guy with brown hair walked in and asked for his order. His eyes lingered on Ned, who was sitting next to MJ, before focusing right back on her. She focused on making his order and gave it to him. "Any thing else?"
The guy smiled awkwardly. "This is fine." He did not sound fine. "Thanks," he shouted and started moving back, but not before Emily caught the sight of something on his wrist. She didn't- it seemed important. Her head was aching? Why was it aching? Why was it throbbing like there was something she was missing and should have known? She dug out her water bottle from her bag, taking a long sip.
"I need to go MJ," MJ nodded, seeing Emily's alarmed expression. She swung her bag over her shoulder and tried to ignore the throbbing in her head as she followed after the guy.

"Kate," Emily whispered into her phone. "Meet me in front of the church you destroyed." Kate's house is near, so she should be able to come in a few minutes. "Quickly."
Kate doesn't question it. "Fine. You better explain."
Emily quietly slinks, around, trying to see which direction the guy went in. Her head started aching more, and she tried to ignore it. Visions flashed in her head, and her legs gave away beneath her. "What the hell," Kate directed Emily's attention away from herself. "Are you okay?" She sat down next to Emily.
Emily's voice was hoarse when she spoke, "I had sudden... I don't really know. Kind of like... visions?" Kate clearly had no idea what was going on, but she hauled Emily to her feet.
"We'll go back to our place," Kate said (and Emily felt way more relieved. "And then you can explain." Kate usually wasn't serious, so Emily appreciated it.
"I can still walk," Emily protested when Kate tried to support her. Kate rolled her eyes, but let Emily walk on her own.
Enter Peter Parker, enter frustrated Emily!
