Shelby's POV

"We're gonna go to the mall, you sure you two are not gonna go?" Adam asked me and Jin right before they left.

I smiled and gave a thumbs up. Jin nodded and went back to his book. I was on Twitter. Alesa smiled and look Adam's hand and then turned around to leave. They were the only ones not going so they had the house alone.

After a few minutes I peered at the book, he was reading a poem book. Jin looked at me and smiled, "My favorite is a poem by Dylan Thomas. It's called Do Not Go Gentle Into That Goodnight."

I smiled it response, wishing I could talk. He went back to reading and saw K.P, Ross' cat. I got up and set my phone down on the way to go play with her.

It all happened in seconds.

I heard a loud thud. I set the cat toy down and went to go check it out.

I saw it.

I couldn't scream.

He laid there.

Silent like me.

No air to fill his lungs.
