Ross' POV

I leaned against the rails, silence creeping cormforably between me and Jessica. She slowly nodded and softly repeated, "The little things... yes. Exactly that."

I cracked a smile then asked, "Are you worried about Shelby?"

Jess smirked, her eyes caught the second story window with a small frame standing in it, "She'll be fine."

I smiled and looked at the window, Shelby peered back through the glass. I waved at her and she smiled, then after a moment looked back, then walked away from the window.

I look back at Jess, "I think it'll be fine for a while. This life is alright, I hope we get a break."

Jess laughs, "Your screwy! This is just the beginnin' and you know that."

I sigh, I click my tail softly, "Oh, I know..."

Pictures and "mini-movies" flashed in my head, whether true, fake, or hapyy. Corey and Max in a fight, Shelby in tears. Jin, falling into a seemingly empty abyss. Mason giggling at his mother. A small child next to Jin. Red and Barney doing a video together with Adam. "He won't wake up!" A voice cried in my head.

I blink rapidly to chase the images away. Jess titled her head slightly, I cracked a small smile at her.

One of those are the future, I know it.
