KENNEDY COULDNT CONTAIN her excitement. she was finally meeting nick in person today. after confiding in him about her past few months, mainly her toxic relationship, talking to nick became all the more comfortable. and now she was going to meet his two other brothers as well.

she was more excited to me one of them, rather than the other.

from what nick had told her, to kennedy, matt seemed to be a miserable brat. but, she wanted to see it for herself. she's not the type to judge off of the first impression.

she closed her song book, just after hitting down the last few lyrics of the final song.

oh! another thing shouldn't wait for.

to show nick the music she had just finished.

it was 7pm. as the uber pulled up out front of the townhouse complex, she felt a sense of familiarity in the situation. she felt as if she was plopped back into that night. and she was walking back up to the door of the house party. the party that flipped her life upside down faster than she even imagined.

she began to think about turning around, and reordering another uber. even texting nick letting him know she was "sick." but that really wouldn't work, mainly because she had already let nick know she was on her way.

instead, she pushed those intrusive thoughts to the back of her mind when she reached to knock on the door.

no way was she going to let that memory, ruin what could potentially be a great night.

her knuckles knocked gently on the door, and she patiently waited for it to open.

when it did, the boy with blonde hair appeared in the doorway. without even saying anything, he practically tackled her, latching his arms around her. both of them giggled at the gesture.

"i can't believe we are finally hanging out." nick squealed.

"i can't believe i'm finally meeting you." she giggled back.

"come inside, come inside!" he shouts with a smile.

in which, she happily followed him in.

i know this is a short update, so i apologize for that, but it's going to get better soon. i promise.

i'm back, I THINK. i most likely won't post another update for a couple of days, but i really wanted to update you. or at least let you finally see nick and kennedy meet.

i know y'all have probably been wondering what's going on. but basically my childhood best-friend diagnosed with cancer. yay! thankfully it's not a serious form, it's 100% curable.

but as a sixteen year old girl, hearing that your sixteen year best-friend, who has been through literally everything with you, has cancer, definitely flips ur world upside down.

writing is an outlet for me, so i hope to be back.

i hope u all are well, and i love u.
