Chapter Four

The next morning, Jacob and Newt woke up in their shared guest room. They had a delicious breakfast that Queenie had prepared. A couple days passed, and everyone was enjoying themselves.

Jacob showed Queenie some No-maj cooking skills, and Newt and Tina went on some dates by moonlight. In Newt's opinion, he was extremely lucky to have Tina.

As much as Newt loved Queenie, Jacob, and Tina, he was still quite introverted. One night, he decided that he needed some alone time, so he took a walk. He didn't really know where he was going, so Newt just walked, not knowing where his feet were taking him.

Then, he realized where he was. Newt was at the grassy field that he and Tina had visited a few nights back. He sat in the grass and looked up at the starry sky. After he had been sitting there for a long time, he decided that Tina may be getting worried. Newt stood up to leave.

Once on his feet, he looked around the field one last time. He saw a figure off in the distance. Who is that? Newt thought. The figure began to slowly approach Newt. He panicked. Should I run and hide, or is this a friend? He started to back away.

"Wait." The voice rang throughout the field. It was a female voice, but it didn't sound like Tina. "W-who are you?" Newt called. The person began to walk once again. Newt wanted to run, hide, leave, disapparate, go anywhere, but his feet wouldn't move.

Finally, he just accepted the fact that he was going to have to meet this person, whether or not they were friend or foe. Newt just wished she would hurry up walking toward him. The woman finally stopped, a few feet in front him.

She was wearing a hooded, dark cloak, so Newt couldn't see her face. "Who are you?" Newt repeated. "Hello, Newt," she said. She slowly lowered her hood. "Do you remember me?"
