Location: Safe Haven
Day: November 6th, 2044, Election Day
Time: 6:00 pm

Violet smiled at the TV, as Anastasia and Kolt sat beside her in their apartment. Since the Second Revolution two years, Violet had moved in with her brother and his girlfriend after they decided to move to Safe Haven, and now... an android was running for president. It all came down to a human male and this female android. But as they were about to count up the votes...
The power went out.
"OH COME ON!!!" Violet shouted, beginning to curse at the ceiling.
"Vi, calm down!" Anastasia said between laughs as she went over to a landline to call the front desk.
"Yeah, the entire city is in a black out." Kolt observed from the window. There was no sign of life. It was pitch black out there. Suddenly, the power came on, and good news: an Android president has now been elected for the first time in 2044.
"YES!!!" Violet screamed as she and Anastasia rejoiced, while Kolt just shook his head at how happy they were, two of the most precious people in his life.

~Meanwhile~

Location: The Slums
Time: 6:02 pm

A woman wearing a cream dress and faux fur coat stomped out of a run down house, looking around very cross. There were a few glances from others. She, nor her husband, who was wearing a crisp suit looked like they belonged, but they did live here.
"Where is that dumb android!" The woman spat, as her husband shook his head.
"Dear, we can find her in the morning." The husband concluded calmly, going back instead as the woman scoffed before going back in.
"First androids get their freedom, we now have an android president and now our android runs off!!! I don't think that's a coincidence!!!" The woman spat in a snooty tone as she opened the swinging door and it slammed shut. A girl with brown hair and a plain looking face, despite dirt marks on her synthetic face, peeked out to see if the couple had gone, as soon as it was clear, she began to run, sneaking under the chain link fence that had a tiny hole that was cut open with wire cutters, which the android assumed was done by previous owner.
"Hey kid! How are you?" The child android turned to see a young, seemingly open minded, officer near a bus stop.
"I'm fine, mister. Just... taking a walk around for myself." The child andriod said with a smile, and the officer smiled back warmly, believing her. The child android continued to walk and felt a path of guilt. That officer was always so kind to her, but she never knew his name. She continued walking, thinking about different things and letting her mind drift away..
"Hey, look! It's another one do those plastic freaks!!" A boy in one of the alleyways spat. The android glanced at him before putting her head down. Uh oh. She wasn't getting out of this any time soon.

Author's Notes

That's the end of the prologue! I didn't want to give to much detail away, but yeah that child android will be our new main character!

I don't think that we'd- Americans would have an android president, I just did it for the fun of it!
