4th July

Today was very stressful we got to the stables to find star all over the place, his stable was trashed and had gashed his hock causing blood to be smeared all around his stable, he was really sweaty and prancing around because he had gotten so stressed out by being at home.

The gammgee from his belly band looked a bit pussy too .. Photo above :)

His belly band has also slipped back and his belly was very swollen around his sheath and along where his wound is based. Also a little weepy at the back, and bloody where the final stitch is he was very sore around it too.

I tried to kick out at me when I tried to cleanse the wound and was very stressed out when we went to put him back in his stable - he was weaving back and forth and probably hurting himself doing so. His antibiotics also ran out today..

Mum had to rush up to the vet clinic while I stayed with him so she could get him some more swabs for his belly as well as some sedation to help calm him  down and stop stressing himself out.

Ugh I'm actually so annoyed by him stressing so much because I know it's going to take him even longer to heal. Hopefully the problem is sorted for now as he seems better now he's been given some sedalin but only time will tell...
