Hallo mein diary.. ,

Lol I'm so bad at German.. Actually I'm okay but I just don't really like learning it, I mean in German star isn't a horse he's a Pferd. I just think the word looks slightly odd :P. "Ich komme gut mit mein Pferd aus, der starlight heißt." Try translate that :) one of my sentences in my speech.

He's better today, actually he seems quite happy, he was really relaxed when I got there and even whinnied at me his eyes have stared to get their little sparkle back.

I read some more of my book to him, he seemed to really like the chapter.. I think he likes Nathan the best - or atleast me trying to do a Kiwi accent. The vet said he's doing okay and they have started reducing his antibiotics, but he has a funny infection in his belly and they're giving him injections to stop it getting any worse.

His belly is also very swollen and he has tried to kick me if I've got to close to it, in fairness I probably would kick me too!

Jeden Wochenende, gehen ich Veilseitigkeitsreiten mit Star. - ha lol not for 4 months now (you'll get it if you translate it / speak German) we got told that his recovery when he comes home will be 4 months, 9 weeks stable rest and 7 weeks in a convalescence paddock. Then start work at light walking and trotting...

It's so long to wait and the worst thing is, he now can't event at all or at least for the rest of the season, so no more eventing for Star until April 2017.
