13th July.

Star was stroppy today. Very stroppy. He is not enjoying his box rest and would rather be out with all of his friends in the field.

The other two ponies in the other field didn't seem to really care about his discomfort and were happy enough just having a snooze on the floor!! Star looked very jealous...

He kinda dragged me about a bit when he went out for grass but he was fairly well behaved. I think he realised I wasn't quite myself.

We read some of 'War Widow' by Sally Mason, it's an awesome book full of many twists and turns to keep you wanting to know more. But do read War Bride before hand, this took a little longer to get into but I read that to star and he enjoyed it too.

That's the cute thing about star he will stand and listen to me read to him all day but if he doesn't like the book he will kinda push me like he's telling me he doesn't like it. He's not a big romance lover:- surprising he likes Me Before You, really.

Atleast now he's doing a lot better and obviously feeling a lot better in himself.
