9th July.
Okay ish day, his stitches are still the biggest problem as they are so determined not to heal, star was very uncomfortable and he really worried me by being so quiet!

His discharge was eww and bloody which is quite bad because it shouldn't be bleeding at all! The wound is the same but he is very very sensitive to touch anywhere on his belly, he properly flinches and glares at you.

He isn't really eating either he's lost his appetite and just seems very sad and it upsets me because he is normally such a proud and strong horses who neighs when I go see him but he's sorta stopped being so happy go lucky.

He does eat when I take him out for his walks on the paddock to make sure the swelling goes down, which I for one think is isn't going...

It is so so frustrating because he doesn't help himself, by not eating all his feed he's not getting all his antibiotics and the only way he'll eat it is if I hand feed it to him and then he eats. But I can't be with him every second of everyday!

What's really sad is his muscle tone has really started to drop now and it's because he's not allowed to be ridden for 4 months! :(
