IT'S TRANSLATION AND CORRECTING TIME!!!

Starkit woke up. Sunlight was shining through gaps in the branches. She should probably get some of the warriors to fix the holes. She closed her eyes again, still tired. But her mom wouldn't let her sleep, not today. 

"Starkit, it's time to get up," said Dawnsparkle, her eyes shining like the stars in Silverpelt. "Today is an important day."

"What is it, Dawnsparkle?" asked Starkit, opening her eyes and sitting up. Then the she-cat remembered what day it was today.

"It's my apprentice ceremony today!" she squealed excitedly. Today was the day she would finally be a -paw!

She ran out side, not even waiting for her mother. Dawnsparkle caught up to her quickly anyway, thanks to her longer legs.

"Starkit, you know some cats in the Clan don't accept us, since I was born in ShadowClan and you're half ShadowClan," she mewed.

Starkit glared at the ground underneath her paws. She didn't like being told that. Just because her mother was a former ShadowClan cat and her father was the ThunderClan medicine cat didn't mean that she was different from the other cats!

"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Highledge for a Clan meeting!" Firestar yowled. Cats appeared from their dens and sat down underneath the Highledge. Starkit rushed over as well, closely followed by Dawnsparkle.

"Starkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Starpaw." Firestar said the traditional words for an apprentice ceremony. Then he said something different. "Starpaw, you're a strong, brave cat with tons of potential, and because of that, I will mentor you."

Starpaw gasped along with everyone else. She hadn't expected to be mentored by the Clan leader!

Starpaw touched noses with Firestar, thoughts swirling in her head. She was going to be mentored by one of the most legendary cats alive! She jumped a little when Firestar whispered in her ear, "You'll be the best warrior there ever was, Starpaw. I know it."

"Starpaw!" "Starpaw!" All the cats were yowling her new name. Starpaw closed her eyes and tried to remember this moment. She would only get one apprentice ceremony in her whole life. 

After the yowling had died down and the cats had gone back to their duties, Starpaw padded over to Jayfeather and Dawnsparkle. Both of them looked extremely proud of their daughter.

"Starpaw, we're so proud of you!" exclaimed Dawnsparkle. "Your mentor's the Clan leader!" 

"Yes," agreed Jayfeather. "But we have something important to tell you, something that may determine your destiny. StarClan told me about a new prophecy: Out of the darkness, stars will come and get rid of the evil tiger and holly. We think it might be about you."

Starpaw gasped for the second time that day. So many surprises! She thought hard about the prophecy as she made her way to the apprentice's den.
