Startaker soon woke up realizing that she was still on her perch, she started to get up and then hit her are aching out wings on something. She turned her head to look and saw the only dragon she ha ever known behind her, waiting for her. "Uhh hi don't I have a stocker." Startaker said with a slight smile and watched Demonheart. "why yes you do," he replied with a toothy grin and stared hard at her mocking we of the comment she made and then continued, "and you sure have the reputation in our school, the small Rainwing/Icewing was talking about how you shoved him away and gave him hatful glares. I laughed about it but you know, everyone else was scared you would eat them..." Demonheart ended with a shrug and then looked away at the mountain. "ungrateful worm, I was just teaching him that the whole world doesn't revolve around him." Startaker laughed at her own response and then looked at the mountain too. "we should go back?" "Yeah the teachers are probably freaking out, you know how they are." and they flew down from the perch. "how come you like that perch so much, I have had to get you twice now and your always at the perch." Demonheart said concerned. "I don't know, I just feel safe up there like there is not a worry in the world." Startaker said dazing of into her own world. "something you wouldn't understand, because you didn't have a life like mine." and then with that comment they flew quietly the rest of the time. they landed inside and Faitspeaker was there, "I thought you died! Thank Demonheart that he found you, you poor scared dragonet!!" And then she gave Startaker a big squeeze, obviously Startaker was being consumed in love and lose. Startaker pushed out I the 'hug' and took a few steps towards Demonheart and nudged him on the wing. "We should get out of here, quick." Startaker whispered to Demonheart and started for their cave. Faitspeaker looked heartbroken when they left and Startaker felt a little sorry that she ditched her but she kept walking/running towards the cave. they made it inside the cave and leaped onto there beds, and sat down. "Well that was kinda exiting!" Demonheart laughed a little at that and replied, "I guess your right, it was a little fun-" Demonheart said but then cut himself off once he saw Startakers necklace changing color. "how? Does your necklace change color like that?" Startaker grasped her leaf necklace in her talons and watched it. what do I say?! I can't tell him I am an amunis, can I Queen Glory said they are accepting of that but him. I can't hide it! I can't say it! Ugh make up a lie!! Now! "Queen Glory gave it to me. And I realized after that, like maybe two days ago that it changes color, like of my mood." ok that's not a lie, but not the full truth... Startaker thought to herself. "oh does it have a special stone, or-" Demonheart stopped at the last words and then went silent. Startaker could guess that he was thinking, because he had his face on. "I don't know what you are thinking, and if you will accept me if I say this but-" Startaker took a deep breath and turne away from Demonheart, "I'm an- I-I'm an amunis dragon." she said in a faint whisper towards the end, and kept looking away from Demonheart. "Your a what!! Why did you keep this from me!!" Demonheart gasped alarmingly. "I didn't know that you would keep this big of a secret from me for this long!" "I was scared I didn't want to hurt you! I'm sorry!" "Sorry doesn't cut it!" Demonheart growled. and at those words Startaker leaped off of her bed and flew through the tunnels, and shot herself into the dusk air and flew to her tower. "Startaker wait! Please!" Startaker flew hard and fast, tears steamed down her face. she brushed them away. I should have kept it a secret, or told him sooner he would never understand the hardship and difficulty of my life I had to live with this monster inside of me! Startaker flew harder and swished around the upcoming trees, she flew into the deep forest and found a tall tree. she landed on it gracefully and hid herself from the world, she shifted her scales to blend in with the background and twined her tail around as much of the large branch as posible. she let the tears flow freely now and lifted her starry wings to hid herself. "I don't belong here why did she make me go here! I'm no one nothing, no one will accept me like Queen Glory did. I have no friends here, I'm alone!" Startaker yelled at herself. she didn't know why else to do she never wanted to hurt anyone, she never wanted to.... she remembered the prophecy that came every single night of her hatch. she will soak the land in blood. she is the one. Startaker always wished she could become someone she wasn't, but she only is who she is righ now, she always wished she wasn't a hybrid, but she was, all the odds turned against her, everytime! Then it shot through her. "Everyone is different so never count them out because of there looks." Staraker smiled after saying that and now she realized something. she doesn't feel alone, no matter how far away she is from people, no matter how May hearts she has broken, she isn't alone ever, she is her own best friend. and she can't hurt her own best friend, because it's attached to her!
