Franny biked her way home as she thought about the ring. She smiled to herself as she rode gently on the road. She thought about the snowball, the kiss that could eventually happen between them, and the two becoming a couple.

Franny realized that Mike hasn't reached out about Will and what happened to him, she was concerned about her best friend and worried. She slowly stopped biking at a convenience store, and she entered the store to look for some food. She grabs a Dr. Pepper and heads to the countertop.

She placed the soda on the counter and smiled, "Just this, please." Franny declared as she handed the money to the worker. They hand her the receipt as she takes it and opens the can and walks out.

Just then Franny sees Lucas biking toward her. He places his bike down and runs towards her. He stops and stares at her for a second. She furrowed her eyes and brows as Lucas took a quick breath.

"Code red."

Franny sighs and takes another sip from her soda and gets on her bike and rides off with Lucas. "So, what's this 'code red' exactly?" Franny guessed. "Okay, Dustin said Dart grew again and that he's a baby Demogorgon. And he's also with Steve Harrington."

Franny laughed, "Steve? Like the Steve Harrington?" Lucas nodded as he smiled and laughed with her, "I know," Lucas smiled who looked at Franny and then looked back at the road. "Not surprised, I mean. My sister did hang out with him while Nancy was dating him."

"They broke up?" Lucas questioned. Franny nodded, "Yeah, pretty shocking right?" Franny acknowledged looking at Lucas. He nodded his head.

"Where are we going this isn't where Dustin told you," Franny asks, as the two spots a Blue Chevrolet Camero in front of Max's house. Franny placed her bike next to Lucas' as they two rushed to the door. Franny rings the doorbell.

The two look at each other and exhale. Max opens the door and finds them on her porch. Max throws a glance at them. Lucas and Franny throw a glance at Billy as Max turns back and shuts the door quickly.

"What are you two doing here?" She asked, as the two have proved that they weren't lying when they told Max about Will earlier today. "What are you talking about?" She squints her eyes as she shakes her head a little.

"Proof. What Lucas and I told you. We have proof, and it's real but we need to hurry." Franny explained Max shuttered her eyes for a second then opened them back up. "What kind of proof?"

"The proof. About the Demogorgon." Lucas added as Max nodded, "Give me a few minutes, meet me in my room, should be the fourth window, and don't be in the view of the door. Billy's pissed at me enough when he told me not to 'be around your kind of people'" Max air quoted the last part, as she turned around Franny moved out of view Max opened the door and shut it.

The two rushed to their bikes and headed to Max's window, when Max entered the room she opened her window and hopped on Franny's bike. Max held onto Franny's shoulder, "This better be good stalker." Max told Lucas as Franny biked behind him.

"It is, trusts us," Franny announced to Max who nodded. "Franny, you still have your Walkie?" Lucas asked, "Yeah, why?" Franny nodded and asked. "Call Gabby. We need her." Lucas added.

Max kept one arm on Franny's shoulder as her other arm opened her backpack and grabbed her Walkie. Max called Gabby who would've done anything for her, even if it meant dying, she would be there for Max. "I'm on my way," Gabby called as Max shut the antenna off and placed it back into Franny's backpack.

The three arrived at the junkyard, Franny smiles as she sees Dustin. "I said medium-well!" Lucas yelled out as Franny and Max laughed at Lucas. They wave as they all get off their bikes and approach the two.

A few moments later Gabby arrived as she hugged Max.

"Hey." Max let go of Gabby's grip and crossed her arms as gave a small smile to Dustin. He waved as Dustin took Lucas and Franny's hands. They walked to a car and sat behind it.

"You guys told her?" Dustin asked, and the two nodded. "Yeah, I mean you wanted to tell her too." Franny added, "We but we all agreed to tell and to look for Dart." Dustin replied.

"Who you conveniently found." Lucas declared. "Are you suggesting that I'm lying?" He asked the two. Lucas sighed and gave an annoyed look to Franny. "We're saying that you have a creepy little bond with Dart," Lucas noted about Dustin's bond. Dustin fixed his hat as he exhaled.

"Yeah, that was before he turned into a Demogorgon," Dustin replied back. "And you haven't heard from Mike?" Lucas asked, Franny and Dustin, shook their heads, "I have a feeling he didn't contact us because of Will." Franny explained. "What if the Mindflayer got a hold of Will and made Will a spy." She added on.

"So Will's spying on us and the others?" Dustin asked, Franny, nodded, "Believe so."

"Which is why we need as much help as we can get," Lucas explained to the two they hear Max grunting as they peak through the car's missing window. Max picked up pieces of sheet metal. "She didn't believe us anyway."

"You guys probably didn't tell it right," Dustin added. Lucas smiled as he got an idea. "That must be it then." He gazed at Dustin.

Lucas extends his hand as Franny gave a smile. Just then, Steve banged a chair on the trunk of the car. "Hey! Dickheads! How come the only one helping me out is this random girl?" Steve complained, "We lose light in 40 minutes. Let's go. Let's go I said!" Steve called out.

"Okay! Asshole we're coming!"

"All right, asshole! God!"  The three follow behind Steve. Franny crossed her arms as she muttered shit in Spanish as she looked at Steve annoyed. "What are you saying to me, Francis?" Steve asked.

Franny put her arms up. "Just saying you have lovely hair." She lied and smiled "Thank you." Steve replied as he gave a nod and turned back. She chuckled.

Steve places down steel sheets as Max hands Lucas some of those steel sheets, once they were done, the five rolled barrels of oil across the grass.

Steve pours gasoline onto the school bus as Max moves pieces of scraps to reach a ladder. "Here, takes this inside the bus and place it near the emergency exit," Max explained as Franny grabbed the ladder and walked into the bus where she positioned it to where Max told her to.

Later on, the group walked into the bus as junk covers the windows of the bus as Dustin entered Steve closes the door behind him. Once it was finally nightfall Franny and Lucas headed up the ladder and to the top of the bus. Lucas grabbed his binoculars and he perches behind stack tires placing the binoculars to his eyes he looks around the junkyard.

"This is kinda cool," Franny told Lucas as he gives her a confused look. "That me and you spend time together, without Mike and the other ruining the moment. Just the two of us. Up here. Alone." She smiled and gave a small chuckle.

"Oh yeah." Lucas laughed as he stared into her eyes. Franny started back at Lucas and into his eyes. "Hey, so, I've been wanting to tell you something for a while." Franny started.

Lucas' eyes shifted to her lips then back to her eyes. Before Franny could explain Lucas leaned in quickly and gave a her kiss. It wasn't a short one like they always had. It was long and passionate. Franny kissed back and they both smiled into the kiss. They broke the kiss apart. Franny smiled and exhaled.

"Wasn't expecting that again." Franny giggled with wide eyes. Lucas could tell how happy she was by the sparkle in her eyes. Just then a grow could be heard. They shift their attention out into the junkyard.

"Lucas, what's going on?" Dustin called out. "Hold on!" Lucas replied back. Lucas scans the junkyard with his binoculars before spotting a dog-like figure in the fog.

"We've got eyes! Ten o'clock!" Lucas stutters for a bit. "Ten o'clock!" Lucas' voice cracks as Franny exhales and prays, she grabs her cross necklace and prays all goes well.

Franny looks down at the ground to see Steve holding his nail bat. "Steve, Steve! No! You're gonna die down there." Franny blurted out. Steve looks up at her.

"Only if it's to protect you kids."

Steve spins the bat around his hand and fixes his gaze back to the fog. He walks across the junkyard. Steve purses his lips whistling. "Come on, buddy."

Steve grips the bat like he was ready to swing at Dart. Lucas discovers more Demogorgons. "Steve! Watch out!" Lucas yelled out as Steve fixed his gaze on the other Demogorgon.

Dustin yells at Steve to abort. Steve sacks one of them with the bat. Franny and Lucas rush down back into the bus. "Steve run!" Franny yelled out. "Steve, please hurry!" Gabby screamed out.

The motion to Steve to hurry his ass and get back into the bus. Steve scrambles inside as the door closes before one of the Demogorgons can run in.

They all mush their selves together as the door clamors. Steve places a steel sheet on the door. "They can't get it in! They can't!" Lucas yelled out.

The monster growls as they all scream. The bus rocks as one of the legs of the creature poke through. Steve hits it off with his bat. "Shit!" One of the four yelled out. The creature screeches.

Claws pears through the piece of metal. Dustin panics. Max notices footsteps on the roof of the bus. She gazes her head up as she sees the creature. Max screams as she jolts to Gabby.

"I got you it's okay." Max holds Gabby's arms.

The creature disappears after Steve tries to swing at it. The monsters growled in the distance. Everyone looks out the window confused. Max and Gabby held hands as they panted.

Lucas and Franny held hands tightly. Steve keeps the bat raised alertly.  Steve stands near the door as Dustin opens it.

Steve steps down as the pack of creatures scurries towards the woods. The kids remain on the bus. "Is it safe?" Steve nodded and gazed at Franny. "Yeah."

"What happened?" Lucas asked. "I don't know," Max replied. "Did Steve scare them off?" Dustin and Gabby say in sync. "No," Steve answered.

"No way." Steve turned around at them, "They're going somewhere." Steve who now has the bat on his shoulder, looked at the five.

Franny exhaled shakily. Franny's eyes widened in realization. Max notices Franny's expression. "Frans, what happened?" She asked.

"Hawkins Lab. That's where they're going. There are only one place they came out of and that's the Lab." She explained she pointed her finger down gave a tight expression. They all stared at her realizing what she meant. "The Gate," Lucas mutters.
