tonight was the night of the Malfoy ball and me and my friends that were girls were getting ready in my room

"are you guys almost ready" my mom said walking in "because it is 7:55" the dinner was starting at 8:00

"yes we are" everyone said getting up and showing my mom

Everyone walked out of my room except my mom "you look beautiful Cassie" she says taking my hands in hers

"Thank you mom" I say holding on to her hands as she pulls me into a hug

She walks out of my room and I follow a couple of seconds behind her only to be met with Mattheo and Theo

"there she is" Mattheo says with a cigarette in his mouth and looking back at me then turning towards Theo again

"we were looking for you" Theo says

"well not hard enough" i say back to him

"Oh shut up" he says and I turn to Mattheo and see him smoking a cigarette "do you have another one" and he digs in his pocket and hands me a cigarette and lights it "Thank you"

"will you tie this please" he speaks up again and I sigh and start tying the tie with the cigarette hangs in my mouth

"Apollos looking for you" Mattheo says

"okay" I say finishing tying Theo's tie and walking away and they followed "so what happening between you two" Mattheo says

"I dont know ask him" I replied

"Don't you think we've tried" says Theo

"Then I dont know what to tell you" I say as I see my grandmother walking down the steps "sorry" I say and point to her "duty calls" I say as lift up the top part of my dress to reveal my underskirt and I stub out my cigarette in the underskirt and Mattheo speaks up "woah a lady lifting up her dress" and I keep walking but lift up my hand to flip him off

I walk behind my grandmother and walk into the kitchen where I see Theo, Mattheo and Draco talking and then they turn to me "How are you already down here?" I say to Mattheo and Theo and they just shrug there shoulders

"What are you doing" Draco says

"Um... getting something to drink. What are you doing"

"Nothing" He says back

"Okay" I say as I turn around and walk out of the kitchen

"I thought you had to get something to drink" Draco yells and I dont answer

"I can just imagine Mattheo's face when that entire interaction went down" Este says as we turn into a hallway and bump into someone "oh my god Cass I'm sorry" Apollo says

"No its ok at Apollo" I say and Este goes to talk to Theo "Did you practice for the waltz?" I ask him as I'm laughing

"Yes I actually did" he says

"I figured" I say as Apollo starts walking and I follow

"I wouldn't want your grandmother giving me lesson after the dance" he said with a chuckle

"yeah you wouldn't she's ruthless" i said and he chuckled again and we begin walking down the steps.

the dance went by slow, well for me at least. i have been waiting to dance with him for a while now and it finally happened.
