"Get out of my girlfriends way." Hawk yelled at the pair of boys he'd already scared outside of Cobra Kai. The pair moved quickly as Sadie walked through with a frown on her face, "Aw, whats wrong?"

"My moms coming home." she said, standing by his side and adjusting her bag on her back.

"That's a bad thing?" Miguel asked with a frown of his eyebrows, "She makes you such good egg rolls."

"She's coming home because my dads going away." Sadie spoke as Miguel's smile fell, "They found a hole in his oxygen tube, he was barely breathing."

"Jesus, why didn't you call me? I would have-" Hawk began, trying to comfort her. Sadie got out of his grip and walking into the dojo quickly, not wanting to be pitted or comforted right now. She hated her father, she truly did. But at the end of the day, she didn't want him dead, she just wanted him to be better. And Sadie knew the hole in his tube was because of what she did at the hospital, she knew for a fact it was and that put a huge guilt on her.

"Quiet!" Johnny hollered out as he walked into the dojo area. Sadie huffed, pulling her hair up as strands of pink feel in her face, "The dojo's closed to new students today."

"We just wanted to sign up after we saw the tournament." Chris commented as Sensei stood infront of him.

"Do I need to say it again?" the blonde man asked with a harsh glare, "Get out!"

Hawk tried to talk to Sadie once more but she shrugged him off, just wanting to be left alone today. She was seconds away from not even coming into the dojo, but her knew one missed practice would lead to months of knuckle push-ups.

"Let's go, move it. Come back tomorrow." Johnny encouraged them as they one by one began leaving the dojo, the bell ringing above them, "Everyone, fall in!"

Sadie hadn't had the time to change into her gi yet, standing next to Hawk and Miguel who didn't either. Miguel looked over at her slightly, a small sense of worry over taking him.

"Must have been a ragger, Sensei." Hawk grinned over.

"Yeah, were you celebrating all weekend?" Miguel added in, clearly still on the high from winning Friday evening.

"Celebrating what?" Sensei Lawrence spoke back, staring at him, "My students are a bunch of pussies."

The duos face fell along with the rest of the class. Sadie straightened up when his stare landed on her, knowing she was seconds away from a lecture.

"Diaz, Hawk, Fangs, up front!" he yelled at him after scanning the trio. The three walked forward and stood before the group, hands behind their back as Sensei Lawrence turned to each of them.

"Hawk." he stated first, staring. Eli flickered his eyes around, a habit Sadie knew he had when he started to get nervous. She let her hand graze his a moment before Sensei went on, "Did you attack your opponent when his back was turned?"

Hawk seemed hesitant as his words came out more of a question, "Yes, Sensei."

"Fangs." Sensei said as he stood behind her, "Did you or did you not bite the living shit out of your opponent after he kicked your ass."

"You told my I could." Sadie stood up for herself.

"I never said to use it against someone because you can't handle being a pussy." Sensei stated, Sadie rolled her eyes because she knew he couldn't see her, "Did you or did you not?"

Sadie sighed, "Yes Sensei."

"Diaz." Johnny went on as he moved behind Miguel now, "Did you purposely attack your opponents injury?"

"Yes, Sensei." Miguel said, much quicker and without argument like the other two.

"You think that makes you badass?" Sensei asked as his eyes flickered between the three before he stared a Sadie harshly, "You think almost getting a law suit because you took half of a kid's shoulder off makes you badass?"

The three went silent as he stared at them, "Whats the matter, question too tough? Maybe you need some help. Miss Robinson!"

"Yes, Sensei." Aisha spoke up from the front row.

"Two cobras in the jungle. One kills the strongest lion, the other kills a crippled monkey. Which cobra do you wanna be?" Sensei asked, circling her in the slightest. Sadie chewed on the inside of her mouth, looking down at the nike shoes she wore.

"The one that kills the lion, Sensei." Aisha stated, a tone of questioning in her voice.

"And why is that?"

"Because it killed a stronger animal."

"Correct!" Sensei yelled as he eyed the three up front, "Cobra Kai is about being badass. And the baddest badass is the one who bears his opponent when he's at his strongest. Not when his back is turned!"

Sadie eyed Sensei as he spoke close to Hawk before moving down closer to her, "Or when he kicks your ass the first time!"

Sadie fought the urge to yell back at him.

"Not when he's injured!" Sensei hollered at Miguel, getting just as close to him as he did the other two, "Is that understood?"

"Yes, sensei!" the team yelled back to him.

"That means no more cheating. No more fighting dirty. From here on out, those are pussy moves, and you don't wanna be pussies, do you?" Johnny questioned, pacing the mat and staring out at each of them.

"No, Sensei."

"Good." Johnny commented, "It's why I had you wear your white belts. We're starting over. Diaz, Hawk, Fangs, fifty push-ups on your knuckles."

If there was one thing Sadie knew well about the Larussos, it was that they didn't change much. They'd lived in the same house, rarely changed their style, their furniture always the same. It's why Sadie knew their security system password was still the same, it's how she turned it off and headed up stairs.

Sadie did about anything possible not to talk to Hawk the whole training session. All he'd do was try to pity her and make her feel better, two things Sadie didn't want in any way right now. Instead she fell in conversation with Aisha, saying Sam mentioned something to her about Sadies box of things she'd left at her house was in her room.

Sadie found Sams room in no time, looking around. It hadn't changed since the summer of seventh grade, not at all. There were clothes on the floor, ones Sam threw around after not liking the original outfit she put on. Her bed was made, a habit Sadie never understood or could do herself. Her curtains were open, Sadie remember when Sam would say she liked natural lighting rather then the stupid lamp on her bedside table.

The box was near her closet, Sadies name on it. Before Sadie could open it, her eyes landed on Sams phone that was on her dresser. She assumed she'd left it here while she went on a run, always sticking to the cassette tapes for some reason. Sadie grabbed hold of it immediately, looking down at the screensaver of her and her dad.

Sadie typed in Sams name, the password incorrect. She tried Daniels next, still not getting it. Sadie then tried Miguel's and Sams full name before being locked out. The girl groaned as she heard the alarm system go off again, just a few seconds before it was turned off. Sadie stuck Sams phone into her bag and hurried out of Sams room, stopping when they came face to face.

Sam gasped as she saw Sadie, taking steps backwards. Sadie felt a rush of guilt hit her at the sight of Sam, her eyes wide in fear. Sadie remembered what she did at the tournament, the way she threatened her like that. Sadie stood still, holding her hands up, "Aisha said you had a box for me?"

"So you let yourself in?" Sam asked in disbelief, keeping a good distance between the two.

"I knew the alarm code." Sadie shrugged, Sam moved past Sadie quickly and into her room, "You should get it changed."

"Believe me, I will." Sam spoke, looking over her shoulder as she grabbed the box by her closet, "You shouldn't just let yourself into people's houses."

Sam pushed Sadies box into her hands. Sadie hesitated, "Sam, i'm sorry."

"It's fine, just knock wh-" she began, stopping when Sadie cut her off.

"No, about the tournament." Sadie said quickly as Sam stared at her, "About what I did... on the mat. It was really out of line and I didn't mean it."

Sam stared a moment as she glanced away, "Why'd you say it then?"

"Don't know." Sadie shrugged, "I was just anger, I guess."

There was a silence over the pair as Sadie cleared her throat, "Anyways, thanks for the box."

"It's just stuff you left around here, I found it when I cleaned my room out." Sam nodded her head, staring at Sadie as her chest heaved from her run. Sadie gave a awkward, tight lipped smile before turning on her heels and back out of the house. Sam watched her walk from the window, sighing as Sadie left.

Later on that night, Sadie sat in her room with her blanket pulled to her chest. She'd turned her phone off when Hawk and Demetri sent her multiple text, asking if she was okay and if she needed them. Sadie appreciated it and she knew they'd make things feel better, but she didn't want to risk either of them seeing her emotional, seeing her cry and feel guilty for what happened to her dad.

The house was so silent Sadie would become alarmed at the smallest of steps. Her dad was under strict hospital watch after the near death he had from the hole in his tube, Sadies mom currently on a plane ride from Germany. She was alone, alone with Sams phone in her hands. She eyed the lock screen again, taking a long shot with the password and typing in Sadie.

The phone unlocked.
