"So did you get your teeth sharpened? Or are they naturally that sharp? Because if they're naturally that-" a new girl began asked Sadie hundred of questions as they stood outside of the dojo. Sadies eyes stayed on Hawk, who'd been arguing with someone over the phone a few feet away.
"Cobra Kai, tell your friends." Sadie said as she patted the girls shoulders, moving past her and heading over. Hawk hung up the phone with a eye roll, "Hey, who was that?"
"Demetri, he's being a little bitch." Eli rolled his eyes as Sadie gave him a odd look, "He tried to train with Kreese and got his ass kicked."
"What?" Sadie asked with wide eyes, "Did he tell you he was gonna do that?"
"I'm the one that told him to." Hawk shrugged as Sadie gave him a stupid look, "What? If he can't handle training with Kreese then he's clearly not Cobra Kai material."
"Okay? So that makes him a little bitch? He's our boyfriend." Sadie spoke to him as if he was stupid, Hawk reddened in annoyance at her tone.
"Whatever, of course you'll take his side." he rolled his eyes, storming past her.
"I'm not taking either of your sides." Sadie said, catching his arm before he could walk away, "You're just acting like a grade A asshat right now. If he got hurt we should go check on him."
"Do what you want." Hawk said as his phone dinged, his eyes shifting down, "Sound familiar?"
And with that, he was off.
"Go away!" Demetri called from the other side of the door, "I don't wanna talk to anyone right now."
"I just wanna check on you." Sadie huffed, "Did he break your nose?"
"What do you care? Wanna call me a little bitch too?" Demetri spoke from the other side in disbelief, clearly just upset over what Eli had said, "Can I remind you that your stupid karate teacher is the one that did this?"
"It's not like I told him too." Sadie defended herself, "I'm gonna tell Sensei Lawrence."
"Don't bother, he did worse!" Demetri spoke from the other side, "Can you just go? I don't want to argue."
Sadie sat a moment as she sighed, "Call me if you need anything."
But he didn't answer, and she left.
In hopes of relaxing her mind of the clear rocky patch she was having with her boyfriends, Sadie ended up at the beach club. She didn't have a membership, resulting in sneaking in over the fence in the back. Sadie knew how to get in from here, make a B line through the bathroom and come out in the middle of the bar. She'd done it before, yet Sam wasn't always in the bathroom when she did.
Sadie laughed loudly, her voice echoing off the walls, "What the hell happened to you?"
Sam looked over with a huff, covered in chocolate cake, "I don't want to deal with you right now."
"You and everyone else apparently." Sadie nodded with a smirk, seeing Sam struggle to get the shower on, "I knew you were more of a vanilla person."
Sam looked back at her in disbelief. Sam walked over and turned the shower on for her. Sam backed up when it sprayed cold, "So what happened?"
"Aishas friends pushed me into the buffet table." Sam spoke embarrassed, waiting for it to warm up. Sadie laughed again, "God, you're so immature."
"And you look absolutely ridiculous." Sadie mocked her, bringing her index and middle finger to Sams face and swiping a finger full of icing off her face. Sam watched her pop it into her mouth a moment before pulling her fingers from her mouth, "At least you taste good though."
Sam stared a moment as Sadie grinned, leaving her in the bathroom and heading out into the beach club.
"See someone decided to join us." Tory spoke up as she saw Sadie walk into the restaurant, glancing around, "Better not get too comfortable, might throw me out the window and give me a fake phone number again."
Sadie sighed as she shut her eyes, "I was a bitch."
"No kidding." Tory scoffed at her, "But it was a long time ago, surprised you even remember me?"
"Girl, I remember you." Sadie smirked as she sat down, "But all cards down, I really am sorry. I was a jerk back then and I used people for their bodies and to feel wanted without the emotional connection. I've grown out of that, but if someone ever did what I did to you, i'd feel really used. I'm sorry."
Tory leaned in her chair, "Well, if you hadn't thrown me out the window I wouldn't have made it back to detention on time so, I guess we're pretty even."
Sadie smiled over at her, opening her mouth to say something before another voice cut in, "Oh, my god. Yasmine has the same bikini as me."
Moon sat down, staring at her phone. Aisha followed close after as she took Sadies side. When Moon looked up, she made eye contact with Sadie and reddening in the face, looking away.
"Life lessons, am I right?" Aisha asked with a long sigh, "At least I know not to hook up with hundred of people and then ghost them after."
"Aisha-" Sadie huffed.
"You hooked up and ghosted her after too?" Moon asked in disbelief, looking at Tory, "That's a relief, I thought I was the only one."
"Sadie!" Tory scolded her in disbelief.
"Oh my god." Sadie slapped her forehead with a long sigh, "Moon, i'm so sorry."
"You should be sorry, I get emotionally attached." Moon defended herself as Sadie gave her a pleading look, "You could have at least said you weren't interested."
"Past coming back to bite you in the ass." Aisha mumbled as Sadie elbowed her in the side.
"What I did was shallow and a complete frat guy move, i'm sorry." Sadie went on to apologize to Moon, "It's not an excuse, but I have attachment issues too. I've gotten better, I don't use people like that anymore. Okay? You're a amazing girl, both of you, okay? And the two of you didn't deserve the way I treated you guys."
"Oh wow, so adultish." Aisha nodded her head.
Moon sighed as she stared at Sadie, "I know what you mean, about attachment issues. I get it, as long as you aren't doing it anymore, I can forgive and clear our negative air."
Sadie grinned over at her with a nod, "I have gotten better, I swear."
"Sadie, i'm so glad you aren't letting this effect us." Moon said as she grabbed Sadies hand, "Not everyone can still cool after a break up."
"Right." Sadie said with a tight lipped smile. Moon grinned as she stood up, walking off, "I think she might have misread what I said. I didn't mean we were considering dating, we barely said two sentences to each other that night."
"I think she's talking about your break up." Tory corrected her, "With your boyfriends."
"Break up?" Aisha asked with a odd look, "You, Hawk, and Demetri broke up?"
"No, we didn't break-" Sadie began before she looked over in the direction
Moon had gone off too, her words stopping in her throat as her heart thumped in her chest.
She hadn't expected to see Moon and Eli connected at the mouth.
"Sadie." Aisha spoke up, grabbing her hand, "You guys didn't break up?"
Sadies eyes began to water as her heart thumped in her chest, her feet brought her to stand and storm over, "Eli."
His lips were off of Moons, looking at her with wide eyes, "Sadie, I didn't know you were here."
"Why? Because you were gonna cheat on me if I wasn't?" Sadie asked in disbelief, her voice broke as her dark eyed swelled up in tears. It was weird for him, seeing her like this. She refused to even cry infront of him, yet she looked like it was her last concern right now.
"Cheat? You said you two broke up." Moon said in disbelief as she looked in a panic, "Sadie, i'm so-"
"We did break up, I'm not cheating on you." Hawk spoke, trying to come off gentle without seeming like a pussy, "We broke up yesterday."
"That was just a argument, you wanted to break up?" Sadie asked in disbelief, the tears fell down her face now, "Why didn't you say anything?"
"I did." he went back at her, "I thought you felt that too. I didn't- i'm sorry."
"You're sorry." Sadie spoke in disbelief with a scoff, "You're sorry for breaking up with me but not actually saying it, making me look like a compete fucking idiot, and then getting with Moon not even a day later?"
"You're pathetic." Moon spoke to Hawk in disbelief, "I'm leaving."
"Moon-" he began, seeing Sadie storming off as well, "Sadie, wait."
"I'm such a idiot." Sadie laughed at herself as he followed her into the parking lot, "I knew this wasn't going to end well, it never does. You're the only reason I changed everything, you asshole!"
"I'm sorry, I didn't know-" he began before she spun around and looked at him. Sadies face was puffy and red, it was so weird seeing her cry, "I thought we broke up, I thought that's what you wanted."
"No, I didn't want us to break up." Sadie said in disbelief as she stared at him, "I really-"
But she didn't say anything else, instead just shaking her head and got into her car, "It happens every time."
