Y/n
"Babe, guess what? You have a hot boyfriend!"
Y/n rubbed her forehead and wondered what the heck Jimin was talking about. They were on his ship, floating in Jemison's orbit. She sat in the cockpit, observing the UC patrol ships zipping by while Jimin was in the restroom doing whatever it was he did when he was in there. She swore he would do anything except use the bathroom.
Jimin came rushing to the dark cockpit with a spring in his step and an eye smile on his face. When she tilted her head, he held out his right hand and powered it up with Sunless Space.
She yelped and scrambled back in her seat. "Woah, woah, chill-"
"I'm not using it," he interrupted with a pout. "Just look at my eyes."
She did noticed they were a bright gray. They were as bright as the lights on Neon, and they illuminated the entire room. Y/n had noticed his eyes glowed when he used his powers, but it wasn't on her list of priorities when the superpowers were already strange enough. She figured he already knew about that.
"Then, for Void."
He closed his hand then used his Void ability, and his eyes were a glistening, shiny black with dots that looked like stars littered around the irises. If anything, he appeared to be a cosmic being that transcended human life. It was another reason she admired him. The pressure of handling the unknown had to weigh on him, and he was handling it like a champ.
Jimin waved his hand to get it to stop. Unlike his other powers, Void needed to be waved off. The others all needed a closed fist, but Void was the one that required a closed fist to activate, making it a bit more complicated. Then again, they were dealing with superpowers. Y/n would have been concerned if they were anything less than obnoxious and hard to understand.
He lit up again, that time with sparkling blue eyes that held a brighter shade than even the New Atlantis sky. She knew that was his particle beam's fault. The cyan color sparkled in his hand. Then, he closed it and used his last one, his life stealing ability. It caused his irises to glimmer a dark crimson that matched the hue of emergency lights.
"Your boyfriend is so hot," Jimin said as he shut off his powers and placed his hands on his hips. "How the hell do you resist him?"
Y/n got up and wrapped her arms around his neck, darting her gaze between his eyes and his lips. "Well, Mr. Park, who said I did?"
Jimin seemed to do a factory reset after she said that. His mouth hung open and bobbed up and down. Then, he cleared his throat and held up his tiny index finger.
"Respectfully," he said, giving her a short nod. "I just got a boner."
"Jimin!"
"What?! I said respectfully!"
She huffed and backed up, crossing her arms over her chest. They got into a staring contest that Jimin won. Of course, he didn't let her live it down. It resulted in Jimin teasing her and poking her to be as annoying as possible.
"Why does my heart want you?" she asked with a sigh.
Jimin flashed her a toothy grin. "Big dick, nice ass, tragic past."
"I- what?! Jimin!"
"It's the truth," he said, winking.
Jimin went back to turning on and turning off his powers, then giggling each time he saw himself in the reflection of the cockpit's glass. She observed the way he laughed at himself and showed off his powers. It was a glorious sight. Seeing Park Jimin smile would always calm her nerves, even if it was just for a second.
Time slipped by as Y/n sat back down and scanned Jimin's figure. One thing was for sure: Jimin was easily entertained. For a solid twenty minutes, he played around with activating then deactivating his powers and watching his eyes glisten in the window. He made comments about how hot he was, and Y/n reaffirmed that he was each time.
By the time he finished, he plopped down next to her and craned his neck to make eye contact. Neither of them spoke for a minute. Then, Y/n reached over and placed her hand over his.
"You're my beautiful angel boy, you know that?" she whispered, and he burst out into a bright ray of giggles and smiles.
"Angel boy? Where did that come from?"
"You're kind of like an angel, don't you think? Not only with the powers, but with the whole..." Y/n trailed off and realized there was no way she could complete her sentence without him being cocky about it. However, having him be cocky was worth it if it meant complimenting him. "You're majestic. Heavenly, almost."
Jimin smirked and waggled his brows. "Oh yeah?"
"Shush, I'm trying to compliment you."
He chuckled and brought the back of her hand to his lips, kissing the skin there. "I know. Thank you. There haven't been many people who've genuinely complimented me, so... really, thank you."
She made a mental note to compliment him every time they woke up together, which was every night. Beyond that, she made a note to compliment him whenever he did well in flying, or with cooking his silly traditional Neon dishes, or whenever he made the bed or did the dishes, or whenever he did a good job with the Vanguard. Whatever it took to see his eye smile.
"You're welcome. Now, down to business. Should we go back to Constellation?" she asked, and he hummed.
A minute later, Y/n flew them into Jemison's atmosphere and watched as sparks burst off the nose and heated up the hull. Jimin giggled on the way down, and Y/n found it adorable how he had adjusted to flying. Maybe one day she'd be the co-pilot, watching him take on the stars. He had flown while she co-piloted before, but considering his lack of experience, it was more like her babysitting him and being a backseat pilot.
They landed at the spaceport and made their way through the crowds of New Atlantis. He held her hand and shielded her from the people bumping into them. She could probably dropkick them to Neon if they got too close, but she appreciated Jimin's insistence on being a "gentleman" by guiding her through the streets.
However, they never made it to the NAT or the Lodge. Instead, Jimin veered off course and went toward the Jemison Mercantile. Before Y/n could question him, she realized he was buying more digipicks to add to his collection. But it didn't end there. When they left the store, he dragged her to the alley between the Mercantile and Terrabrew, where an elevator was.
"Take me to the Well," Jimin said, and she opened her mouth to question him. He cut her off. "I want to see it. Let me see what my faction did to yours."
That was unexpected to say the least. Y/n knew Jimin had been dealing with more emotional weight than normal, but she couldn't recall informing him that the Well had been created by the Freestar. Well, not directly. When the mechs attacked New Atlantis, the underground shelters were where the citizens fled. The Freestar annihilated the surface and thousands of homes, including skyscraper apartments that could house over five hundred people each. All at once, hundreds of thousands lost their homes, resulting in the Well being born. No one, including the UC, had the materials and currency required to rehouse the entire population.
She squeezed his hand. "Jimin, you don't have to see it."
"Yes, I do. I've spent my entire life hating the UC and thinking they're some privileged assholes. I still think that, but... maybe not as much. Let me see what my people did to yours. I need to know."
Y/n sighed and agreed despite not wanting to. Jimin already had enough going on; taking him to the Well would make it worse. But she respected Jimin's wishes. For that reason, she entered the elevator and brought him down to the Well. Much to her amazement, he didn't bother cursing the "box of doom," as he'd normally call it. He was quiet the entire journey down.
The elevator creaked and dipped. It was a slow descent that had Y/n's heart merging with her stomach. When it stopped, the doors squeaked twice before parting to reveal the Well.
Jimin slowly stepped out, and Y/n followed behind him, not speaking. There was steam hissing in the air and the overwhelming sound of buzzing coming from all the broken tech in the vicinity. Although it was as bad as Neon in terms of crime, at least Neon had the decency of being pretty with a distinct color scheme. The Well was the opposite. It was a dull gray that only received sunlight from the fans in the ceiling all the way up above. The ceiling had to be at least a hundred feet in the air, and even then, there wasn't much light pouring in. Most of their luminance came from their hollow, sparking, faulty lights.
Coughing men, women, and children covered in soot made up the sidewalks. They were hunched over and picking at their chipped yet long nails while bags tugged at their hollow eyes. The sidewalks were covered in dried blood and vomit along with yellow stains Y/n didn't wish to learn the origin of.
The Well had an industrial feel to it in the sense that there were giant, hissing pipes and metal walls making up most of the space. There were shops that had cheap clothes and food, but other than that, the main career down there was begging. There were countless homeless who held out UC security helmets and whimpered for credits.
Jimin strolled by with his hands in his pockets. Y/n did her best to give at least twenty credits to any homeless she came close to, but there were so many it was impossible to give to all.
The dry color scheme resulted in the few colors present popping. There was the sharp lime green sign of the medbay and the faded maroon "UC Surplus" letters painted on the clothing store. Many rushed in attempting to steal, but the storeowners were so used to it that every attempt failed. That meant the people who ran in ran out just as naked as before.
Y/n nibbled on her lower lip and averted her eyes from all the bare skin. Her hands folded together, and she dug her nails into her flesh to try and focus on something other than the chaos around her.
"I'm sorry," Jimin said in a mutter. "I didn't realize there'd be so many... bodies. Let's leave, I don't want you to get uncomfortable."
But she already was. Leaving wouldn't fix that. She had made the active choice to bring him to the Well, and she was going to follow through. The Well was uncomfortable for everyone, not just Y/n. The overwhelming amount of skin wasn't pleasant, sure, but Jimin had said he needed to see it. She wouldn't let him leave until he did.
She held up her hand to stop him. "No. Keep going."
Although hesitant, he respected her wishes and continued to observe the Well. They sauntered down the cracked sidewalks that weren't really sidewalks, just slabs of concrete in the ground. The concrete provided more homes than the actual apartment complexes did. The complexes were covered in moisture from the busted water pipes near the top of the Well. Some of the liquid made it all the way to the base level, where Y/n and Jimin were.
In general, the Well had several layers. None of them were better than the others. Nothing separated them except catwalks and staircases. Other than the elevators that led to the surface of New Atlantis, there were no elevators to bring them between the layers.
"Everyone came here when the Freestar attacked?" Jimin asked as they walked by the unmarked buildings that were either drug dens or abandoned shelters with more fecal matter than people inside.
"The Freestar launched a mech assault on New Atlantis. So many homes were destroyed, and with all our money going toward the war, we couldn't rebuild. The Well was supposed to be a bomb shelter. Now it's... this."
Jimin lowered his head. "I'm sorry."
"Don't be, it's not your fault. The United Colonies did awful things too. No one won that war. Sometimes I wonder if anyone even survived it," she said in a whisper. Her voice cracked as she spoke.
Jimin didn't reply to that, not that she was expecting him to. They trekked on and found graffiti on the sides of various structures. Some were drawings of stick figures urinating on UC security guards, others were profanities cursing out both the Freestar and UC. No one was excluded. Every faction ended up on the wall of shame in some manner.
Y/n halted to observe the way the Well lived. Under the graffiti was a group of homeless with torn blankets pulled over their scrawny figures. Their boney wrists shivered from the blast of cold air spiraling down on them.
Jimin stopped by her side, but it wasn't for the same reason. She followed his gaze and found him staring at the wall. She scanned over the graffiti to find what he was looking at, and when she found it, her lungs ceased their movements. As did the rest of her body.
It was the Crimson Fleet's skull logo.
Y/n snapped her attention to Jimin. Words were about to fly out of her mouth, but he had no emotion in his eyes. No tears, no sorrow, no anger. Just a blank stare that took in the sight of the Fleet's logo. The most reaction she saw was his hand going to his mouth so he could bite at his nails.
"Jimin..."
She went to touch his arm, but he moved away and continued down the path. Her feet hurried to follow him. By the time she caught up, she realized he was following the signs for the second elevator that led to the MAST district in New Atlantis.
"We're leaving," he said, and she didn't bother disagreeing.
They made their way through crowds of people. Some wore clothes, others didn't. Y/n did her best to avoid any bare skin. Although Jimin seemed lost in his mind, he still wrapped his arm around her and brought her against his chest to shield her from as many as possible. It was hardly the time for butterflies, but her stomach couldn't help it.
Finally, they got to the elevator, and Jimin slammed the controls to take them aboveground. When the doors shut, he pressed his forehead against the metal and grumbled curses about being in a box of doom. At least some of his humor was there, but it wasn't enough.
Y/n came a bit closer. "Hey. Can I... can I hug you?"
Without a word, he swiveled on his feet and engulfed her in his arms. There were no tears, whimpers, or cries, just a silent embrace she returned. His hands grabbed at her Vanguard jacket, and she felt the way he shuddered.
The entire ride up, they hugged. As soon as the door creaked, they parted, and Jimin was the first to exit the metal box. Y/n straightened her black and red leather jacket. It had the UC letters on the right shoulder and two pockets carrying her credits and ID. Her leggings were plain and matched her jacket. Neither of her clothing items had any resemblance to the Universals.
Y/n sprinted after him and slowed to a trot by his side. His gloved hand was closing in and out of a fist while his other lit up with sparks. She tugged on his sleeve to calm him and alert him to his powers showing. There weren't many people around, especially since they were in an alley leading to MAST, but there were cameras and potential bystanders.
"Sorry," he mumbled before shutting his fist. The sparks disappeared, replaced by two closed hands that never reached out to hold her like he normally would.
Y/n pulled him back before he could leave the alley. The little privacy they had was needed. Going out in public would make it worse, and that was the last thing Jimin needed.
"I'm not going to push you to talk to me, but eventually you're going to have to think about it," she said. The Crimson Fleet were the words she didn't say, not that she needed to.
He gave her a half-smile that didn't meet his eyes. "Yeah, I know. Let's get to the Lodge so I can drink."
Jimin walked away, and he made it clear he didn't want to think serious, dangerous thoughts. The way his footsteps stayed light clued her in on that. Beyond that, he had a delicate, almost joking tone when he mentioned drinking. Jimin was spiraling, and she knew it. But forcing him to speak could make it worse. For the time being, she wouldn't address it. She'd let him joke and pretend life was okay. It would hurt, but she would do anything for him.
She loved him.
☆☆☆
The Lodge was quiet at night.
After showing Jimin around the Well, she had taken him back to the Lodge to continue getting tested by Noel. That was where she was. Noel's room was as dim as always with most of the luminance coming from the scanner Jimin stood in.
Jimin had seen better days. Between the fall of the Fleet that he still hadn't confronted, the rise of the Terrormorphs, and his growing power, Jimin had more going on than Y/n could imagine. At least he had his mother for the first time in his life, but that didn't negate all the horror he had been subjected to. The poor boy had superpowers and was expected to solve the secret of the universe. Why had he been chosen? Why did the universe select a known criminal?
Y/n was biased, but she thought he was an excellent pick. Constellation agreed. Maybe not Andreja, but Andreja didn't speak much, so Y/n didn't know for sure.
"Wow, I'm impressed," Noel said as she scanned Jimin's body. "You're standing still."
Jimin chuckled. "Don't get too excited, it's just cause my girl is watching. Gotta impress her, y'know?"
"Oh, yes," Y/n said with an eye roll. "I'm so impressed. You can stand still? Oh goodness gracious me, my eyes have been blessed. Even God Himself couldn't perform such a feat."
He huffed and stuck out his lower lip to pout. "Okay wiseass, I get your point. I'll shut up now."
Noel finished the scan and allowed Jimin to depart the tube. Unfortunately, the scans weren't getting them anywhere. There were no traces in his body that gave clues. If anything, Jimin getting superpowers seemed to be a scientific fluke. It gave Y/n more proof that what they were dealing with was more spiritual.
Maybe it was foolish, but Y/n prayed the light they'd find at the end was God. Matteo was in her corner and believed the angels were speaking to them, but others, like Sam, thought the answer was future humans. Barrett, of course, thought aliens. Sarah didn't know where to align herself, and neither did Andreja.
Constellation had many members, all of which split on what to believe. The only one yet to weigh in was Jimin, and considering he was the key to unlocking the answer, she found it odd how he had never spoken about it outside of witty remarks. Granted, he had enough going on, but still.
"Do you think you can handle it from here?" Y/n asked, and Noel hummed.
"Aw, but babe," Jimin said in a whine. "I thought we agreed you're an alpaca, we can't leave you alone."
Noel facepalmed. "Do I even want to know?"
"No," Y/n was quick to say before coming over and pecking Jimin's cheek. "I'll be back soon, I just want to pray."
"I didn't know you still did that."
Y/n hesitated before forcing a smile. "I think it's time I got back into it."
She left without another word and went to her room. She had a corner set up with a crimson blanket and candles surrounding it. The scent of vanilla eased her mind, so she lit the candles and allowed the aroma to waft around her.
Jimin had been right, she hadn't prayed. In her mind she often prayed for others, but she hadn't taken the time to kneel and really pray. The last time she had was when Jimin had gone on the Legacy. But that was a desperate circumstance.
A hefty sigh fell from her parched lips. She didn't know what she was doing. For years, she had been searching for Him. She began flying because of Him. Yet after all that time, she hadn't been praying, she hadn't been going to masses, she hadn't been checking in with her fellow New Atlantis Universals, and she hadn't even met the new keeper.
She felt like a traitor to her own religion. In a way, it was like she didn't deserve to pray. And as she gazed at the flickering candles in the dim light of her room, she decided to back away and extinguish the flames.
Soft yet ragged breaths left her, and her trembling knees caused her to press her hand against the wall to steady herself. Without thinking, she rushed out of her room and decided to search for another way to occupy her time. Her mind soared to the artifacts, and that was where she decided to go.
Y/n vacated downstairs and observed the artifacts as they floated in the center. All of them had caused much suffering for Jimin, yet Y/n couldn't help but be fascinated by them. Aerodynamics and physics were her specialty, though she had to admit she wished she understood whatever branch of science the artifacts fell under.
"You're still awake?" a male voice asked from behind her.
She turned and spotted a wrinkled face and graying hair. It was Walter Stroud, one of the richest men in the galaxy and also Constellation's "sugar daddy," as Jimin would say.
Walter spent most of his time on Neon with his wife running their starship enterprise. Seeing him at the Lodge was a rarity to say the least, but the grumpy old man kept credits in their pockets thanks to his keen interest in exploring the stars. It made sense; why build spaceships if he wasn't an explorer?
"Walter, what are you doing here? Sniffing the ground for a spare credit?"
"Hilarious," Walter said as he stopped by her side. He peered at the artifacts and shook his head. "I came to watch them, just like you."
"Awh, getting sentimental on me, old man?"
He chuckled and stroked his chin. "No, quite the opposite. Skeptical."
"Of?"
"These artifacts," he said, raising both his brows as he observed them. "We don't know what they mean. We could be building a giant bomb and not know it until it's too late. Hell, maybe this is a higher power's form of a children's toy. How do we know it means something?"
"I see what you mean, but if it were just a bomb or a children's toy, why would it grant visions and music to the first person who touches it?"
Walter hummed. "Fair enough, though the unknown makes it terrifying, doesn't it?"
"Walt, when you fight pirates every day, you kinda get used to being terrified," she said, and he cracked a smile at that. She wished she could take a picture and hang it on her fridge. It was already rare enough to see Walter in the Lodge let alone smiling. "Uh oh, are you finally going soft?"
"Don't you start. It's just... the Lodge feels less lonely nowadays."
"Because of the artifacts?"
Walter's smile widened. "Maybe. We feel more like a family, don't you think?"
"A dysfunctional one, but sure."
The two laughed, and Y/n found herself forgetting about her Universal dilemma. Walter was a logical and mostly cynical man, but despite his negative outlook on life, she enjoyed his presence.
"We'll figure this out, you know," she whispered as they dialed down from their laughter.
Walter agreed and stepped closer, holding his hand up as the artifacts passed by. His fingers skimmed across the surface of the one that came closest to him. The artifacts didn't react, and neither did Walter. There were no sparks or music. No visions or dreams.
"It's funny, really." Walter trailed off and pulled his hand back. "Isa thinks this exploration dream is foolish. I can hear her voice now... 'We already own a staryard, why do you need Constellation too?'" He chuckled and met Y/n's gaze. "But I don't know, Y/n. There's something about Constellation that fascinates me. Even if I'm just the finance, I'm happy I can help figure this out."
Y/n could count on one hand how many times she had met Walter's wife, Isa. She was a passionate woman with a high interest in debating and solving problems. In all honesty, she was terrifying. Walter and Isa had a close relationship from what Y/n had seen. Walter adored having someone who challenged him, though she found that surprising considering how stubborn he was. Isa was supportive of Walter's Constellation aspirations, but at times she didn't understand it, and Y/n respected that. After all, she was right: Walter designed spaceships for a living. His entire job was exploring. Constellation was just an added bonus.
"You're more than your money, Walt," she said as she patted him on the shoulder.
Walter's lips pulled up, and his wrinkles smiled with him. "I... thank you for that, though I would be lying to myself if I said money wasn't a big part of who I am."
They went quiet after that. Together, they watched the way the artifacts danced in the air. There was no music or sounds other than their gentle breaths and occasional stomach growls. If Y/n listened closely enough, she could hear the faint chatter of Jimin and Noel upstairs, or the soft hum of the yoga music Sarah loved to listen to while she slept.
Not many were in the Lodge that night. In fact, it was only Jimin, Noel, Sarah, Walter, Y/n, and Matteo. Matteo had his nose in the books and sat in the garden to their left, but with the doors to the green paradise shut, she imagined he had no idea what Walter and Y/n were talking about.
Others, like Sam and Cora, were off doing their own thing. Perhaps that was what Y/n loved most about Constellation. They were a family, but they gave each other space to perform their missions and various tasks. Many had jobs outside of Constellation, like Barrett with his side gig of stealing from pirates and selling the loot to the Trade Authority. With the Fleet gone, Barrett had moved to Spacers and Ecliptic with the help of VASCO as his co-pilot.
Y/n never understood Barrett. Not because he was difficult to understand, but rather why he would go out of his way to fight such dangerous foes. After each mission, he'd laugh about it. Y/n found it whacky, to say the least.
"Babe."
Jimin's voice brought Y/n out of her thoughts. She shifted and saw Jimin approaching. His scarf, which had once been Jung Hoseok's, bounced on his back as he came near. His thick jacket shaped his form, and Y/n noticed he had gotten more muscular. Ever since the fall of the Fleet, Jimin had been working out more. Along with that, being off Neon and in a civilized society without constant gang wars resulted in him eating more, leading to more muscle and weight.
Jimin nodded to Walter. "Hi daddy."
Walter grunted. "That's my cue to leave. Goodnight, Y/n."
"Night, Walter. Tell Isa I said hi."
Walter agreed and departed the Lodge. Walter and Vladimir were the only two members of Constellation who didn't have rooms at the Lodge, and that was because they had never slept there. Vladimir had a room before, but he moved into the Eye, Constellation's space station in Jemison's orbit. Y/n knew she had to take Jimin there at some point. They had too much going on for the time being. It'd have to wait until later.
"Noel's done scanning you?" Y/n asked, and Jimin hummed.
"All done. Nothing new, as expected. She's been focusing on monitoring my brain activity."
Y/n's eyes bulged. "Wait a second, you have a brain?"
"Hey! I... okay, you know what, that's fair. But still!"
Jimin let out a soft whine and pouted as he was known for doing. She couldn't resist and ended up ruffling his hair. Then, they exited the Lodge to take a stroll and get some fresh air. It was also to give Noel space to analyze Jimin's brain scans and determine if he had been using his powers too much.
Jimin held her hand as they walked by the sights New Atlantis had at nightfall. There was a gentle breeze that tickled her cheeks as it passed, and it smelled of freshly cut grass. Their moon shined in the clear sky, and the MAST skyscraper glistened in the distance. The shopping district not far from them had people hopping in between shops. The distant chatter mixed with the chirping birds filled Y/n's ears with pleasant harmonies.
"When I was a kid, my mom and I used to walk around Neon," Jimin said with his eyes on the horizon. The sidewalk lacked cracks and crowds, making for a peaceful stroll. "She'd tell me bullshit stories about all the vendors and buildings. Hell, she even made up being friends with a Freestar Ranger. I used to idolize those shitheads."
"You don't anymore?"
"I still do, but I'm not a kid anymore. It's not the same."
She nudged his side. "Should I tell Sam that?"
He snorted. "No, he'll get a boner. Or flashbacks. One of the two."
"Flashbacks?" she asked with wide eyes.
"I heard Cora's mom is a Ranger. Not sure how true that is, but Sam said Cora's mom would arrest me if she saw me. Sounds like a fierce woman."
Sam's ex, Lillian Hart. A Freestar Ranger. The two had met for the first time when Sam had been a Ranger. Sam never spoke about her, but from what Y/n knew, they were on rocky terms. Lillian had refused to step down from the Rangers after giving birth to Cora, which led to many heated discussions. Sam didn't think she should continue, and Lillian didn't think he should haul Cora around the unknowns of space. Y/n didn't want to get involved. Relationship drama made her uncomfortable.
"I've never met her, so I wouldn't know. Don't worry about it too much," she said. Then, she leaned against him and grinned. "Hey, you didn't finish your story. What else did you and your mom do?"
He kissed the top of her head and smiled with her. "She didn't shut up about dad. I learned more about him from her than I did from him. You think we'll have that kind of love?"
She couldn't stop her grin. "Don't go soft on me now, Mimi."
"Sweetheart, respectfully, I'm never soft around you-"
"Jimin!" she said in a yelp, and he giggled.
"Again—respectfully. I said it respectfully."
"You're such a goof," she mumbled, and he beamed at that.
After the emotional day they had, it was rewarding to see his irises sparkle in the moonlight. The way his cheek formed a dimple and his eyes crinkled made her heart heal itself of any cracks it had. Speaking of his cheeks, his bare face caused them to appear rosy, and the freckles painting his face were more prominent than before.
"Come on, let's go home, honey," he said before holding her hand and guiding her away.
They hadn't taken a long walk, but it was serene and a much-needed break from the constant chaos of their lives. They had a nice day together, even with the misery that came from the Well. However, there was one major issue. Their peace was about to end.
All because Jimin's Vanguard training began tomorrow.
