thanks to the lovely paulsins , i was tagged in another writing tag!!! so here are the rules...

answer all 10 questions, tag 10 people and ensure the questions aren't answered simply.

here are the questions...

o. who's your favourite
character to write?

honestly lauren martin (bloodsport) has always been my favourite. writing for her was probably the easiest but most complex. it also taught me so many things because she was such a different character from anyone else. also i loved writing her arc and development!!

i. what is your favourite music to
listen to while writing?

a lot of the times it's mostly instrumental music, if not, music that correlates with the scene. like if im writing a romantic scene then i like to play love songs cause it helps, or if its an action scene a badass song.

ii. what's your favourite chapter
you've ever written?

god, i've written so many, it's so hard to pick. i really enjoyed but also hated writing the final chapter of bloodsport cause (spoilers!!) because id been planning lauren's death for so long, and i was happy with how it turned out. it was so hard to let go. also i feel like i suck at them, but any romantic scenes i always enjoy.

iii. how long does it usually take you to write a chapter and why?

well its very different everytime, sometimes if i push myself to write i can finish a chapter in an hour or two, but if im struggling it'll take a few days. obviously many times i get writers block and halt in the middle of my progress.

iv. what's your favourite comment you've ever gotten?

i'm so lucky to have received so many lovely comments i can't remember an exact one, but every single comment of someone putting effort into telling me how much they love a fic of mine make me smile so much

v. is there any part of
writing you find hard?

it's always hard forcing myself to write a scene that i'm not feeling like writing. it's also really hard sticking with a fic idea, or trying to even think of more ideas for a vague fic idea. also i suck at describing settings.

vi. are there are moments where you get frustrated with a chapter for no reason?

i think there's always a deeper reason why i dont like certain chapters. usually its cause i didn't put a lot of effort into it, or maybe it's just not going into the direction i want.

vii. give one tip that you would suggest to other writers so they can improve their own writing

just keep writing, and don't stop!! you won't get better unless you keep pushing yourself to write, even if it's badly. also read lots of books.

viii. do you plan and if so, how often and in what amount of detail?

i plan very vaguely. organized plans never work for me, i just have a bunch of notes in my note app where i jot down ideas i get. for example in one of my fics the show has about 8 eps in one season, so as i watched each ep i wrote down ideas under the episode for what i want my character to be doing. i plan sometimes, and there's usually not a lot of detail.

ix. finally, if you could give one piece
of advice to your younger self,
what would it be?

i would tell her to read more books. a huge period in my life was me not liking to read books, and now i wish i did.
