De's POV

I awaken to the felling of someone shaking me. I slowly open my eyes to see Ella. "De, you fell back asleep! You're going to miss your flight!" Ella yells at me. I sit up and rub my eyes. "Ella *yawn* I'm not leaving today, I'm leaving in *yawn* two days." I say between yawns. "Why are you leaving in two days? I thought you were leaving today." She says confused.

"I don't know why were leaving on Sunday instead of today. All I know is what Gene told me which is, Dad texted Mom last night saying he was leaving Sunday and not Friday, also that I needed to talk to Mom for more details." I say getting out of bed.

"Wait does that mean we have two more days to spend together?" Ella asks looking hopeful. "Yep you're stuck with me for two more days." I say laughing, Ella laughs as well. "Well then we need to make the most of those days." Ella says smiling like crazy. Ella walks out of are room and into the hallway.

"I'm gonna go get breakfast, then I'll get dressed and we can do something together!" She yells from the hallway. "Okay I'll get dressed!" I yell back. What am I gonna wear? All of my stuff is packed. I think looking through my closet. Then I see mine and Ella's matching red t-shirts. How did I almost leave this!? It's my favorite shirt. I grab the shirts and put them on my bed.

"Yep we're definitely wearing those." I hear Ella behind me. I turn around and she smiles at me, then takes another bite of her granola bar. "Alright it's agreed." I say looking back at the shirts. "We're wearing these." I say smiling.

Short time skip.

Me and Ella got dressed in are matching red t-shirts and black shorts, brushed are teeth, then we had to figure out what to do with are hair. We both had naturally ocean blue hair that went to are hips. "We should probably put are hair up or braid it." I said. "Yeah we should. Can you braid mine? Pleeeeeease?" Ella asked. I laughed at the way she dragged out 'please'. "Sure. Do you want a normal braid of a french braid?" I asked her. "Ooh a french braid!" She said excited. "Sure, just stay still." I reply.

I start the braid on the right side of her head, rapping around to her left shoulder where it laid. "All done." I said. "Ahhh! I love it!" She said looking in the mirror on the wall. "Hehe, I'm glad you like it." I laughed.Then I put my hair up in a high ponytail, leaving my bangs and small strands of hair on the side of my face.

"Alright, ready to go?" Ella asked. "Yep!" I responded. "Then let's go!" She said as she ran out of the bathroom, and down the stairs. "Wait up!" I yelled as I followed her down the stairs. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I see my Mom, sitting on the couch in the living watching TV, and next to the door Ella's putting on her red converse.

"Hey, girls! Where are you going?" Mom asks looking over at us. "We're going on an adventure!" Ella cheers happily. "Okay be safe girls. Oh De, I forgot to tell you last night but, you and your Father aren't leaving today, Your leaving Sunday instead." Mom said. "Oh right, Gene told me earlier. But thank you for letting me know." I said putting on my black Vans. "Okay well have fun you two!" Mom said. "We will! Bye." Ella said as she practically dragged me out of the house. I waved to my Mom and we out the door.

"So where do you want to go?" I asked Ella. "Let's go into the woods behind the school!" She said. "Tree house?" I asked. "Tree house. "Tree house." She confirmed. "I'll race you there." She said with a cocky smile on her face. I smirked and looked at her.

"You're on!"
